I need this BADLY
😂😂😂
The thing that has helped me a lot in heel side is making sure my back knee is pointing towards the nose of the board, even in a duck stance. Made everything so much smoother including reduced jutter at high speeds
don't do that
Adjusting the high backs was a game changer for me. 😅
Love the sage advice and goofy riding. Helps me visualize easier! Thanks so much!
Well explained, this will definitely help out! 🤗👏
Super correct on hibacks Kev. The founder of Donek has a vid on their channel explaining setting fwd lean for hardboots in an alpine context. Same advice: if heel judder then increase fwd lean. If toe judder then reduce.
It's not just about too much speed when transitioning into a heel turn to reduce "juttering" through a skidded turn. Most of it has to do with edge angle and pressure on the board by flexing the knees and finishing the turn. Learning to feather the edge is a fundamental skill you can use on a variety of terrain. Proper forward lean on the highbacks is also important.
😂it’s like you watched my video and thought about this content 😂 thanks for the great tips
So the only time I really have an issue with chuttering is when I have to stop suddenly because of other people around me. Unfortunately, that's an issue that's kind of out of my control especially on a busy mountain.
I have this problem on steep moguls. Thoughts on avoiding when the slope is not so flat and going slow is not an option? Weighting the tip and trying to stay fall line help, but... Also, why does this seem to be a heel side problem and not toe side? I'd love to see a version of this video on something like Palisades Chute 75 on a somewhat firm day.
I have a problem with my toe edge jutter when I run at steep terrain. How can I fix it thank you
Anyone have snowboard helmet recommendations that can play music? Bluetooth speakers built in?
Where is this filmed? It looks great. Thanks.
Its Northstar in California.
I often see guys riding with a ton of speed on heelside, how do they not judder with all that speed? What are they doing differently?
My issues is on my heels I just skid and can’t carve anywhere near as good as my toes
Hey, where are you riding in this video?
Northstar, California
@@SnowboardProCampwow I have never seen Northstar so empty
When I go more faster (fast to mee) and try to stop the board start chatter..
Bend zzzzzeeee kneez
Just bend your knees. Your weight is always behind the board , or on the uphill side otherwise you’d catch an edge

Didn't help at all. At one point you have to go faster... And lean the board on higher angle..... But, trying to go the best you can on the radius turn of your board staying low with knees bended , that help a lot. Actualy the jutter is because of too much lateral pressure with too little forward speed , for the edge. Turning the board too fast around for a certain speed will usually do that.
