Fun fact: the song that plays just before Sonic and the gang are transported into Gmod is an orchestral remix of none other than Alfred’s improvised “There Goes Hawaii” song from the Sonic Adventure dub. This moment always makes me lose it because of that, lol

The look on your face when Sonic referenced Hamilton was priceless. 😂
To be fair, I feel like Sonic grabbing Tails' hand to save him in the cutscene before the Gmod section is a pretty great character moment considering everything that has been brought up to this point.
He's been called out on how awful he was and started to realize it, and so here he acts on impulse to save his friend because, even though he's been a jerk to him this whole time, he does care about him.
And the fact that he jumped in to save him without thinking despite the danger shows that he is improving, even if just slightly. And the emotion in Penny's "I got you" was really good. Surprisingly so considering the comedic nature of the Sonic fandubs.
Can we talk about Alfred Coleman's Eggman's character ark? He starts as a married man who was broken by being stuck in a building for three years and having his wife cheat on him with two hedgehogs, a bat, and whatever Knuckles is, to a divorced man who keeps trying to force a gamer girl to date him, to a man who genuinely tries to put his life back together by going back to college and accepting his identity as a possibly polyamorous bisexual
It's such a roller coaster and I love it

Yeah, Red wasn't at their strongest in this dub. The "I'm not a girl!" bit was their best. Also that bit happened because Red came out as Non-Binary between Sonic 06 and Sonic Riders.
Red is significantly better in Until Dawn. (I personally don't think anybody was at their best in the Resident Evil 2 Fandub, oof)
