The new KIA logo is as cool as the EV6. This is going to sell rather very well! The practicality of a liftback is not something that only Europe wants.
Kia has to sort out their battery supplier issues as SKI batteries (the ones currently used in the E-GMP) are banned for import in the US because of losing an IP theft lawsuit from LG Chem enforced by the International Trade Commission. If SKI doesn't pay a huge multi billion dollar fine, LG Chem will try to ban SKI from importing their battery packs into Europe as well and even South Korea...

Kia and Hyundais designers are demonstrating their vision now. Great looking cars. And, using the Rimac 800 volt infrastructure will help them catch up to the longstanding Tesla brand... Like all other non-Tesla electric cars, it is the charging infrastructure. Teslas pull up, plug in and charge without any other step is seamless, and all other brands need to make the many charging infrastructure companies agree on a standard to match this. Both brands are stepping up their game and not only competing with the larger EU and US car companies, but besting them. Well done @Kia.
You nailed it there. I own a Kia Niro EV and a Tesla Model Y. I have made long trips in both... but will never do another long trip in the Kia until the charging infrastructure is vastly improved. In my city alone, San Luis Obispo, California, we have two Tesla Superchargers with a total of 34 charging pedestals. How many DC fast chargers for the Kia and kin? ONE with 2 nozzles!... and their max output is 50kw and they are a mile from the freeway.
Oh this was a nice surprise to find in my suggestions. I loved the sister car, then all the in-depth leaks about the EV6 hit and I was mmmmmm. Hyundai and Kia treat Australian market very well and always love to see your new stuff. Nice to see Kia stepping out fully in their own jam

Very impressive Kia! 2 years ago I opted for a Hyundai and it's superb value! With this ev, Kia has upped the game. One minor gripe, can't help but draw similarities to the Hyundai Veloster's silhouette!
Pretty much exactly the same situation. I had originally thought Kia's to be a very cheap and low quality brand but after buying e-Niro in business luxury spec it changed my view on Kia completely. More than likely will be my "go to" car brand.. especially if they will be releasing stuff like this.
Stunning vehicle with the performance to match! This is killing the design of the Model Y and Mach-E and I'm a fan of both. I noticed the tide was turning with the Stinger GT but this is just next level. Haven't seen the price yet but this could easily be half the cost of the Audi E-tron GT.

The car looks impressive but not something I would say falls under the "affordable" category. The top end maxes out at $80k... for a KIA. Kia isn't messing around. They're serious about being competitive in the EV space and this vehicle will definitely attract plenty of attention and lots of buyers who care more about aesthetics and performance than they do nameplate.

The EV6 is growing on me, but I think I prefer the Ionic 5. The front is nice, the back end is not. Interior is fantastic, but not as spacious as the Ionic. (My view is from a family of 5.)

Using the K EV6 as a backup home power source is such a cool feature. We have rolling blackouts in CA and TX just got hit with subzero ice-storm!
