I am not providing links to the cut files as explained in the video. Please don't ask for them in the comments.

This was a lot of fun to make despite the downsides I talked about in the video. If you'd like to see more of this kind of content hit the like button and leave me a comment!

Cant believe I;m the only commenter to this comment. I guess there are not that many people out there who have similar likes. lol. Great job loved it. What was not clear when u mentioned resizing. Did u mean just the thickness? or did u make the pieces actually bigger?
I ask because one of the things I have discovered in my search for a good locking puzzle box is the sizes. its either something like 4-5 inch then panel cube or 10-12 inches as u get into unique solid wood ones. with price jumps from less than 100 for small ones and multiple hundreds for anything bigger.

Man that is by far the coolest thing I’ve seen since I started researching laser engraving. I don’t have a machine yet but hope to buy one soon. Any way possible to get plans to make something like that!!??? I’m so impressed haha

It is a shame that people scam others with plans etc...

@@LetsMakeAThing Well I can tell you this much. there is virtually no one who shows DIY techniques for building these things, designing them, etc. At least that I can find ... If you were to seriously go in that direction I would think there is a big hunger for it out there and it would bring many viewers.

This turned out lovely. And I have to give you major props and thanks for not sharing it. Sometimes it is quite difficult to locate "original" works so it always comes off as a risk to me unless I know the designer.

Puzzle box is awesome. I could imagine how much time original designer spent on it… I have my own life-hack how to prevent theft of my projects, I am opening them as open source. However I know stories when people sells not own free models and layouts.

Hi, I built a vacuum bed using two powerful brushless server fands - it sucks down the material flat to the bed, no mess, helps with breakthrough smoke etc. they work great on ply upto 6mm. Would love to see the original box link if you could as I really would like to purchase one

Nice video. Can't wait until you can upgrade to CO2. Hardest part was talking the wife into it, followed by the duct work, electrical, and ethernet hookups.

I am new at laser cutting plywood but my best cuts have been with the plywood raised with 4 random dies I pulled from my tap set. I focused the laser in the center of the board and yea it worked great
