first time ever skiing in june and it was pretty rad! the eastern sierras are an incredible area of the country.
How exciting that must be middle of summer to see some corduroy looking forward to seeing you rip it up
Skied back in May with my dad. The corn was great in the morning and the slush is a great ton of fun, nice and soft. You should do more spring skiing.
Someone told me that mammoth said they broke the record for most chairs open on Memorial Day. Think they had like 17 chairs open or something

Mammoth is the best mountain in the west but the hotels and food are way over priced this season was the most snow ive ever seen fom beginning of nov until June so far ever in 30 years skiing
Three things:
1. Spring corn is some of the greatest riding. That steep sloughing snow is a hoot.
2. During your outro, you spoke from the heart and showed your passion for what you are doing. Completely unclouded by the naysayers in the comments. Whenever they are getting you down, remember that moment and why you love what you are doing.
3. Love that forward looking shot from Luna. Was it handheld or mounted? Looked a bit unsteady. Not sure if I have seen you use that shot before.

that shot is mounted, albeit not very well. i havent used it much because it is kind of janky but it does the trick i guess haha
The fact Mammoth has 110” base still says a lot about how crazy the winter was out there. Nice bump skiing and what a camp spot! 👌🏻👍🏻

You sir are living my dream! June 10 will be 1 year since I retired. I was close to purchasing class B RV.....But life had different plans....My brother passed 2019 and mom was 89 at that time now she is 92 and needs help on occasion....she fell last october and broke 8 ribs....but anyway my lake home needs lots of work so I will be working on the house. Great video!!!

I grew up in Bishop, CA and learned to ski at Mammoth. Yes, the Eastern Sierras is a special place. I skied at Mammoth and water skied at Crowley Lake on the same day back in '84. Convict Lake has incredible fishing if that's something you like.

So mad the notifications didn’t work and I didn’t get to catch this while premiering. But looks like we are slowly converting you to skiing more year round??!! Mammoth is the best for spring skiing and there’s other things to do (maybe not as much this year due to all the snow still on the ground) after few hrs of skiing and soaking up all the sun and good vibes on the mtn. Glad you enjoyed it!

I was there a week before you. I think I got the last day you could ski all the way to the Paranoids. Phillippe's has melted out a bit in a week too. That rocky section in the middle was not nearly as bad when I did it. Great fun!

May 24 is the latest I have ever skied Mammoth before. Sometimes they have been known to stay open until July 4th. Looked like you had fun but that sure is a work out for your legs.

i am surprised that it gets below freezing at night.. i love it just as the ice is turning to slush.. especially if it is hard underneath.. if it freezes for at least a few hours... my guess the reason why they close at 1 is because it gets unsafe because of avalanches..

Do you some kind of special wax? I skied Palisades Tahoe in April and in the afternoon it was like skiing in sand, incredibly sticky.
