Hey great job y’all! Incredible work. This made my morning and had the correct message behind it. It is difficult to explain that concept to people when they don’t understand that we hunt to put food on the table for our family. We hunt to manage species population and keeping them healthy.

I admit i,m over my ears in love with norway and dreaming to visit and loose my way to stay as long as i may stay alive.!
Your taking a younger bull is quite different than here in the states , but makes all the sense in the world . Personally , I only hunt "wapiti" here in Colorado because at 68 I long since gave up trying to land a moose tag with how it's done here.

If I have only one criticism is that the narrative of "hunt your food so there is less farmland and more wilderness" is totally flawed. Especially given the growing human population. The message behind the” hunting/farming” was for antihunters ( who wants to ban hunting) to understand that IF we would stop hunting, our food from nature would be replaced with farm food, and those actions would turn against us (humans) instead of helping wildlife.
I am not against farming. We wouldn't survive without it😉

Also hunting- if done right- is much more humane than factory farming, not to mention healthy as you said. However I would be much more selective at hunting. I would never use dogs or traps or arrows. I would also use a silencer on my gun to prevent starling the other animals. I would aim for the head and end the animals life without giving it a chance to know so. The rest of what you said I mostly agree with. I am saving your videos to my library,

The only thing, the headshot is not acceptable in Norway, because of a significant risk of miss or injury animal.
Hunting for food on regulated numbers is more environmentally friendly than buying meat from the store.

Is it easy for foreigners to come hunt moose in Norway(or any other Nordic country for that matter)? It’s my dream to hunt a moose.
