So what is Riff in a minute? It's a weekly series of quick bass lessons where you are shown everything you need to teach yourself a quick bass riff. You can learn how to play a new bass line in just 1 minute. The Riff in a Minute Series will show you how to play a bass line from 3 simultaneous camera angles so you can get the technique down perfect and see the TAB and Notation too!!!!! Plus there's a backing track section too so you can practice playing it by yourself.

This bass line is originally from a song called 'bus stop' by the Fat Back Band and then it was used in the 'like sugar' song. Not sure who the bass player is from the first song. A great groove can't wait to learn to play this thanks for the video, love 70's funk baselines.
Hey Thanks Space Avenger! I didn’t realize it was a remake. Haven’t heard bus stop. Yeah I love all those 70s funkbass lines too.
bass player from the fatback band was Johnny Flippin :)

I'm looking for the Bass line to I Meant You No Harm/Jimmy's Rap from the Dreamgirls soundtrack. Anybody know the bass transcription to it or the Tabs to it? I'd love to learn that one! P.S. I love the song Like Sugar. It's one of my favorite songs by Chaka Khan.
I watch a lot of tutorials- this is a really good one. Super helpful! Great format, cursor follows tabs, slow down version and alone version, fantastic, thank you!
