tbh actually impressive how good his defense is naturally. if he just puts in work and actually trains with that defense alone and a bit of striking and not getting tired he would be very good.

idk why people are laughing at or clowning this comment, it’s literally true deji is more naturally gifted. naturally has better movement than what we’ve seen from ksi and from any other yt boxer, but for his last fights he didn’t train enough and either gassed out or didn’t throw enough punches. no one’s saying he’s the best cuz he has to do a lot to prove he’s the best, but naturally his movement and especially his defence is very good. just needs to work on cardio and his offence, also needs to try be more confident when he’s actually in the ring. they are his only flaws in boxing
Said this since the Jake fight, Deji is very talented. Just needs to put in the training, fine tune some things and he'd be great. He looks better and has looked better than every yt boxer in these workouts. His movements, faints, slips, head movement, hip rotation, hooks uppercuts, technique. Stance, angle changes, it's all natural. Very impressive

Deji’s defense is actually really fkn good. If he just learns how to let the offense roll off of it he can’t definitely have a future in this sport.
I like that ksi and deji actually did a proper workout.
Whether it be UA-cam boxing or pro boxing, all the ‘experts’ always seem to come out in the comments. No experience in boxing but even I can tell this is just for the cameras and just part of contractual obligations. Nothing to take seriously and just show tidbits. I do like that it looks like his hooks have a snap to them. He looks relaxed too. Regardless of outcome, hope he shows that he put the work in.
I am hoping deji has the biggest comeback story in UA-cam boxing he has it he just needs to capitalize
as a certified boxing coach, from dejis open workout he mainly focused on slipping punches , this is good , however he needs to learn how to not only slip punches but to know how to be able to slip punches and counter attack with combos he needs to slip punches while quickly hitting his opponent with various combos.This will be my main concern with deji because he needs to throw more hands not only slipping punches
In all honesty Dejis really naturally gifted in boxing, he has nice footwork and head movements and we know his defence is really good, once he lets his hands go and connects with his opponent’s its over for Fousey.
