The Hawks are rebuilding will you guy's relax. What did you people think when they signed all those bad contracts for players to just come sit on the bench. This is a tank season, the players are playing but the organization wants to loose. Rebuilding teams tank that's a rebuild. The Hawks will have more cap space that nearly every team in the league next season with two more 1st round picks. If the organization wanted to win this season they had a lot of cap space where they could've signed better players. Trae is in his second season on a total rebuilt team so come down they will be in the playoffs next season. Can't believe so many people didn't no this was a tank season. The highest paid player on the team is Parsons and he's healthy but has only played I one game, even Turner is the second highest paid and he barely plays. The Hawks just want their young guys to develop this season the organization isnt trying to win it's all a set up for the next offseason. And for The Trae leaving people. Trae is under contract until 2023 and he has no leverage to leave by he will be extended before that contract is up. So relax people its a tank season for a rebuilding team we will see the change it the offseason. The Hawks are trying to build a young championship team a dynasty with young that will be there for years. Not just throw a team together for a 8th playoff spot

@@krs4898 Im more than sure the Hawks have explained the plans for this team to Trae. He is a competitor but it's helping him more than anything because just like the rookies he is still developing also. Trae is getting better on defense every game and that's what this year was meant to be, a development season. Think about how deadly Trae will be next season. He will be better on defense and he will have a little more weight on him. Trae young is not a finished product yet and as the other young guys get better around, and John hopefully playing a full season next season, with 2 more first Rd picks and major cap space. The Hawks will be ready to compete next season. How many great players you remember that came into the NBA to a rebuilding team and didn't have to suffer through a couple years of losses. The Hawks drafted Trae high when he probably wasn't even going in the top ten without them drafting him because not many people thought he would be a good NBA player but the Hawks did. This is going to work out fine so don't feel bad for Trae because he needs this extra development just as the other young guys do. Travis is trying to build a dynasty and building a dynasty doesn't happen quickly

As an Atlanta fan, I think it's a lot of empty calories right now, which is what historically happens to a lot of our teams (even the 60 win team). Probably just letting the young players develop, and low key shooting for the lottery again.

Smoky P john Collins also isn’t a bust he’s improved every year is averaging a double double. One thing to know is it’s best to draft a player based on team need rather than ability. We very badly need a dominant center or a center that is capable of PNR, spacing, and rim protecting.
