In this video we show you the #use and #preparation of the rotary rake with a working width of 4.30 m for transport.
#advantages of a single-rotor rake:
The single-rotor rake is well suited for swathing mown grass and hay. The single-rotor rake has a closed curved track that runs in an oil bath. This keeps wear on the cam track extremely low. The 2 rotatable gauge wheels are adjusted via a stepless mechanical height adjustment. The rake's gearbox does not have a freewheel. Therefore, a cardan shaft with freewheel must be used here. The single-rotor rake does not have any lateral pendulum compensation. Unevenness is compensated for by a hydraulically suspended guide rod. This means that the device can swing in the direction of travel on undulating terrain and is easily guided behind the tractor. The height of the jockey wheels is centrally adjustable.
