Came here to figure out how the heck to get the case open, took me almost 10 mins. Of course, they put the instructions INSIDE the case. Once I got it on, looks very good, feels solid. I already had a tempered screen protector on, & the case fits just over it, but it reduces the screen sensitivity, so I took it off. Hopefully the protector that’s built into the case holds up.
Got my mine yesterday and I too couldnt find a way the open the case. Took me about 10 mins in find a way in. Wished I watched your video 1st. Not sure if im going to use just the back or the front and back with the screen protector. Very well built case.😃
Do you have issue where the screen protector get rainbow/ oil streak despite already cleaned with alcohol wipes etc? I have this issue and it will worsen when i am in a hot humid environment. I need help!
Thanks for the video, Joe. Very succinct, but clear. However, I can't find the link you mentioned after 2:23 to video for installing the camera lenses. And did you remove the existing tempered glass screen protector from your phone because it would not fit in the case with it left on, or just because it was superfluous with the case having its own built-in screen protector?
Thanks for the kind words! I added the link in the description and I took the screen protector off bc the case had one that was built it in that worked perfectly fine.
Great video! I have concerns about the display tho…. One: the plastic getting scratched Two: display getting some glare from outside light. Also can we add a camera module protection (not just the lenses but the whole portion get a tempered glass layer)
Why do u guys love covering the lense they are not made to be covered with plastic the lense are strong sapphire they ain’t breaking or getting scratched🤦🏻♂️
Thanks for the review. Did you try it with a screen protector on the screen and puting this on. Cause you know if we were to take out the screen protector swapping cases will be a problem especially since im Sure we have more than one case and swop out. Hate to be stuck with one type.
Does the ESR TOUGH case have any time-out issues when charging via magsafe? I recently purchased the Supcase UB Pro Mag case and it loses magsafe charging connectivity at the 1 min mark consistently. Also does it tilt/wobble when laying flat and typing due to the camera protection protruding out?
I have the MagSafe Otterbox Defender Case and purchased the SYNCWIRE Magnetic Phone Ring Holder for MagSafe, Magnetic Cell Phone Grip Ring Stand Finger Kickstand with Two-Sided Magnetic for my Defender case, but somehow or other, it slipped off and got lost. Finally broke down and ordered a second one. In the meantime, I decided to try out this ESR Tough Case with Stash Stand while I’m waiting for the second magnet. It took me a few months to decide to try this ESR case out because I don’t want to have to remove my glass screen protector that I purchased from the Apple Store when I bought my new phone in March. So far, the screen is working great with both screen protectors. We’ll see how long it works like this. I’ve always been a huge fan of the Defender as I’m not the daintiest of ladies and have dropped my phone at least a couple of times. Here’s hoping the ESR is just as safe as the Defender!!
@@theavgjoe I meant isn’t the screen protector connected to the outer part? If you wanna switch between that case and other cases is it easy? If you wanna put the esr case back is it easy?
@@kambos2802 It can be a little difficult to remove at first, but you get used to it. It's not that hard to take on and put on. But I would say, this is for someone who's either going to have it almost all the time...or someone who will just need a tough case every once in a while. Hope that helps!
I think I get what you mean by 'sticky'. As far as I can feel from this video, I don't think there is a layer of sticky adhesive glue (when you peel the film that goes & touches the phone screen). Please correct me if I am wrong.
Do not buy ESR cases! I used this for 6 months and the stand came off the case showing the glue underneath! Supposedly 12 months warranty covered for quality issue but ESR claimed it is wear and tear and no warranty!

You and me both, man. 😂😂😭
Man, SAME!
thanks for the video.... just got mine and couldn't find a way into the case so THANK YOU for this video.. saved my life
Is it useable without the screen protector part??
@@ik8445nope
Thanks! Could not have gotten in without you!
Should we use tempered glass in this case

What link is for the set up of camera protector
How is the case holding up is the front and back cover easily scratched?
Love this case , where is the video how to put the protectors for the camera thanks
That’s what I was wondering…
Do the lense patches in any way diminish photo quality?
Would this be water resistant as to not let water into the clear areas?
Is it easy to seperate and reuse if you need to dry it out?

No privacy screen possible with the case ?

It might be a tight fit.

Hello, from my experience, there’s no issues with MagSafe charging over long periods of time and it does have some wobble bc of the camera protection
How would you compare this with the otterbox defender xt?

hey, is there any issue with the touch screen while typing or during everyday activities?
Hello! I have not had any issues.
Who puts the instructions inside of the case! 😂
I love their case
Putting on the camera protectors doesn’t affect the pictures
can I use the tempered glass that's already on my phone with this case? or do i need to remove the tempered glass to use?
Unfortunately you’d have to remove the tempered glass on your phone. If you want this case, you have to plan on it being your main case.
Can we remove The case easily?
Is front glass is like glue type?
I recommend being committed to using this case for a while. The front screen protector is not glued.
How do you remove the case with the sticky screen protector? Like if you wanna switch between cases.
