HONOLULU!! 🌸✈️🏖 I hope you all enjoy this vlog where I take you all with me to one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been! Have you ever been to Hawaii? Which island? Thanks everyone for watching! 🤗
Love Hawaii. Favourite place in the world. We've been quite a few times despite living in Newfoundland & Labrador. I love the smell of the fresh air when you step off the plane. We just enjoy relaxing & walking around. People are always wonderful. Thank you for sharing your memories.
My son plays the Banjo and we go on bluegrass cruises that he plays on. We went to Alaska last Aug. 2019 . They were talking about a bluegrass cruise to Hawaii to be planned. If it is we would love to go. Thank You for a peek of Hawaii!! Godspeed Jetting Julia!! Oh my son is 20 years old so he's getting a great start in his musical career. We are Blessed!!
Retired corporate pilot here. I’ve been to Hawaii several times over the years, alwsys enjoyed my time there. Visited most of the islands as each is a little different from the other. If you get the time you need to visit as many as you can. I was lucky as my time there was usually measured in days, occasionally weeks, not hours which is usual for airline crews. I’m enjoying you videos.
Great video Julia. I really enjoyed it - as usual. The scenery was nearly as beautiful as our hostess. Sadly, for you, the flip side is the short stay and lack of sleep. I've been binge-watching your great UA-cam channel since the lockdown started in Ireland. Hope it's lifted soon. Keep safe & well everybody.
Years ago I flew to Hawaii and helped sail a 40 foot sailboat back to San Pedro California. Did the Pearl Harbor tour while there then spent almost 3 weeks sailing back to California. It was a wonderful trip.
Loved the video. Recommend hiking sticks as it can be quite slick and a flashlight for the evening as visibility can be poor . A light throwaway rain poncho can protect you from a sudden downpour. There is a small gift shop nearby and has some of these supplies for a reasonable cost
I haven't been to Hawaii myself but my wife has several times, she use to work on a Norwegian cruise ship. It's on our bucket list to go together. She is a travel agent now so hopefully it will be soon. Enjoyed this video. Take care.
I love your upbeat attitude and sense of excitement. It might be of interest not only to yourself but viewers to see some of the historical sights( Diamond Head, USS Arizona, etc.) when you are in foreign country or an exciting states or cities. Opportunities may seem unlimited but often they come come by infrequently. Take advantage of them. Bars , pools, and restaurants are everywhere but historical and cultural sights are rare ! Nice hike , a great view.
I live on Oahu and you should try the Lanikai PillBox hike or Koko Head Trail either one is really pretty. Also my Aunty stays at that hotels well for her layover, she also works for American. Even though she lives in Hawaii.
I was stationed on Oahu for 3 years! I really enjoyed my time there! But my favorite Islands are Maui and the Big Island. They actually have black sand beaches as well as green sand beaches! Maui is absolutely amazing! My favorite thing to do in Hawaii was snorkel. But beware of the dreadful tiger sharks! 😱
Out of all my domestic layovers for work, Oahu is my favorite. Usually get 20 + hrs, it always feels like a mini vacation and I enjoy Waikiki area. Great VLOG!
We stayed for 2 weeks in Oahu!! Great shops in Halaewa the food trucks were spectacular!! Loved Honolulu, sight seeing, lots of pictures!! Hawaii is my favorite!!! I really do love Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Jamica, Cancun, and Roatan, Honduras!! All Western!!!
Thanks for letting me tag along on the trip to Hawaii. I was in Guatemala last October and November. Used to go to Puerta Villarta 20 years straight when I was married. We both speak fluent Spanish. People were super. Waiting for my next trip.
Been 3 times. By far my favorite is Kauai, the hike to Hanakapiai Falls at the end of the road by Na Pali was my favorite part for sure. Koloa rum produced on Kauai is phenomonal btw lol
I went to Oahu last year and other than just literally any part of hawaii is beautiful, snorkeling with sharks with oneoceandiving was my favorite activity. I can't wait to go back hopefully someday. North shore (haleiwa) and lanakai beach were also so beautiful
Hi Julie...found your UA-cam vlogs recently.....love your content! You were asking about traveling to Oahu .....we went years ago to Oahu and to Kaanapali, Maui... everything we did was awesome. The beach, the International Market, a luau, a dinner cruise out in the harbour and the list goes on. We flew over to Maui and rented a car in Kaanapal and drove around the island....just so much stuff to do. We didn't find it extremely expensive either. What a beautiful place and you get to go there quit often I bet. It's great to re-live trips we're been to and to follow you to new places! Thanks Julie!
Mahalo!! So FUN! I LOVE Hawaii! I’ve only been to 4 of the islands....(Kauai, O’ahu, Maui & the Big Island) My favorite island by far is Kauai) The Helicopter (ie: Jurassic Park landing next to the waterfall!) tour was AMAZING. If you ever get the chance, it is totally worth the cost. It’s just gorgeous, a bit less crowded than O’ahu. I also love the Kona side of the Big island and The Kohala Zipline! It was scary and fun all at the same time. Also if you ever have the opportunity to drive up to Mauna Kea, take it. LONG windy bumpy drive, but totally worth it; especially if you can catch a full moon
My favorite island is the big island of Hawaii. Love to play golf at Mauna Lanai, Mauna Kea. We stay at The Mauna Kea Resort or the Mauna Lanai Bay Hotel. Mauna Lanai Hotel is being remodeled might be completed by now. Oahu great place to fly gliders at Dillingham airfield, Captain Bills Glider rides.
There this past summer. Climbed Diamond Head, but also went to Kualoa Ranch which is where they made movies (King Kong - Skull Island and Jurassic Park) someone takes you around in either your own ATV or on horse back. Movie stuff is still there.

Yes! This is what makes it all worth it! These amazing places you get to see and get paid to do it! Love your positive attitude and how outgoing you are! I would love to become a flight attendant, I'm an RN now and just really want to travel. The cool thing would be the sky to get licensed in the state in based and just pick up some per diem hours to cover the salary drop. Really considering it!
I would definitely research the career more if you're interested in it, it's the best decision I've personally made for my career. Getting paid to travel and see these amazing places is a dream and makes every tough day worth it. There's a lot of flight attendants who used to be registered nurses, thanks for watching! :)
I love Kauai, it's less populated and very beautiful! I do like Oahui - if you have a extended stay or on a vacation - try a place called Mike Huli Chicken (it was also on Dinners, Drive Ins and Dives)...Very yummy! When we had service to HNL - I had to go there every other year and ate there!
I love love love Hawaii! Maui is my favorite. My wife and I got married there, so that's probably my favorite activity - but the entire state is hard to go wrong.
Kauai is my favorite island, been to Honolulu as well. I’m actually going to try and get hired as a charter pilot there when I get enough flight hours.
Jay Bee my Uber driver suggested that & now that you have I’ll definitely have to put that one on my list - thanks for the recommendation and for watching! ☺️
Aloha a kakahiaka maikai, Ms. Julia! (Aloha and good morning) You are welcome! Tons of exciting and fun hiking places to explore in O’ahu and the other aina (islands). Just be extra careful because it can be very slippery and dangerous. Key tip: Souvenir shopping - go to Don Quijote, Target or Walmart - a lot cheaper than Waikiki “stores” 😉! Love your vlogs! Definitely a fan, from O’ahu, and an aspiring flight attendant! Aloha!
Aloha Julia, hoping you can come back to Honolulu soon! I used to travel a lot to Asia and Europe so I do know all the challenges that flight attendants go through. I always appreciate all that you do!
13:33. AA business class product is better than Emirates and Turkish. Because of the 1-2-1 configurations. Emirates and Turkish do 2-3-2 Configuration which is really cramped. I will certainly will try AA next time for my flight.
I went to Honolulu about 10 years ago...for the day. Wanted to see Pearl Harbor...especially the Arizona Memorial. Highly recommend visiting that if you ever fond yourself there.
My spouse and I enjoyed a two week trip on the island of Oahu last January. We really enjoyed it. It was my fourth time there. I’ve also been to Maui a couple times and to the Big Island of Hawaii. I would like to go to Kauai next time.
I have been to Oahu! Love love Hawaii! One of my favorite places to go. Went to Kailua Beach. And hiked a couple of mountains to the top. Love everything there! Makes me want to go back. 😁
Hi Julia, so another cool hike is on the very North East of Oahu. Take Farrington Hwy 93, till you get to Kaena Point, this is where you want to park your car. Beyond Kaena Point is very dangerous for vehicles, but you will see people in jeeps and off road vehicles on the dirt road (crazy). From Kaena Point it is about 2.5 mile hike to KaEna Point, this is the North East tip of the Island along the coast, there are some sand barges, lava rock and sea turtles. It is a nice long hike because it's a 5 mile round trip hike, but cool hike! Oh, take a back pack with some energy snacks and a big bottle of water! Please do not hike alone because of the cliffs and distance, take a friend with you!
Hi Julia,Great Vlogs. If you get back to Honolulu and want to do an amazing hike try Kau'a Crater. There are three waterfalls and from the top you have almost a 360 degree view of Oahu. Just be prepared for about 7 miles round trip and some steep accents and decents in wet clay.Have fun and continue the great job
Love you vlogs. They're so relaxing. Being a government employee who works 5 days a week, sometimes even weekends, I barely had time to travel. Watching you feels like somehow I'm out of my workplace and enjoying the whole world out there.😊
I love Hawaii! Where do I begin! My favorite activity of all time was a helicopter ride over Kauai! And my favorite swimming spot was on the North Shore in Oahu. Enjoy paradise!
Yes I’d love to visit Hawaii. That state has a mountain snow climate a dessert dry as well as rainforest as well. You say cookie I thought macadamia nuts. Alas that’s a lot of no.4 jet fuel to pay for. But I’m glad you got to go. There’s an interesting water system that used to supply the “Pineapple plantation’s” I forgot what island? I think you can visit it in small groups. Pleasant dreams Aloha!
I loved Hawaii! I have timeshare with Hilton and stayed at the Hilton Hawaiian Village on Oahu. I loved the wildlife hike we took to see waterfalls and the trip up to Diamond head. North Shore was also nice (although touristy)
I miss it there so much, I used to live there for 4 years. I love the approach into HNL! So cool you got to go there! My favorite thing to do in Oahu was going snorkeling at electric beach and going to lanikai beach too. My favorite island there is big island Kona side and Kauai the napali coast. Now I live in Dallas too! I have a whole list of cool places to tell you that you can go to next time, that only locals know about from hikes to beautiful waterfalls to gorgeous beaches with hardly any tourist.
Oh my gosh that’s amazing!! I would love for you to message or email me any local recommendations you have for Honolulu so I can add them to my list! ✈️
My favorite island is Kauai I have been to Hawaii and Maui as well but Kauai felt less touristy and I felt more immersed in the culture there. Much more outdoorsy things to do if you enjoy that
Maui is beautiful, I only had a "shorter" layover there, so not a whole lot of time to go out and explore but I'm hoping to one day! Thanks for watching!
Gorgeous all over! The Hawaii scenery didn't look so bad either :) :) Nope never been there, indeed looks like paradise. Beautiful earrings! As far as magnet decorating on a fridge, I'd say filling one side is ok then go to the other :) You got a cool collection going there! I think I saw a London bus too :) Sorry you had to leave. I am definitely NOT sorry I watched this :) Awesome again
The scenery in Hawaii was just too beautiful, it's impossible for the camera to capture all of it! It truly is paradise, thank you I like the earrings too! Yep the London bus is one of my favorite magnets. Thanks for always watching and commenting!! :)
My grandmother somewhat surprised my brother and I to a week in Hawaii, we flew on Delta on a Tristar from SAN to LAX to HNL. We went to the Arizona, the big shopping center and the beach. When we left we took off from the famous reef runway.
Been to Maui many times. Traveling by car is no problem . Julia you are very young and have plenty of time to see so many places. Going by standby your traveling will be reasonable so take advantage of the perks whenever available. I hope to get a smiling steward like yourself on my 9 hr flight.👍😀
Hawaii is amazing!! The last time I was there was a layover from Australia and the flight got overbooked so I volunteered to give up my seat and got $600 voucher and free night hotel in Waikiki thanks to AA!! Best airline!! My favorite island is Maui.
Ms Julia, I truly enjoy your Flight ✈️ Trip Videos. I also enjoy the way you describe and show where you stay, along with your adventures on each visit. Keep up the Great Work and Always Fly Safe!!! 👏👏👍👍🤗💐
I was stationed in Hawaii for the Air Force; Oahu was my fav island. There was so much to do everyday; and great beaches. Spent almost five years there
Hi Julia. Enjoyed your video. Next time visit the North Shore & Polynesian Cultural Center. I love Poipu Beach on Kauai the best. Glad you are back working. Take care.
It’s been awhile since I went to Oahu, but visiting the USS Arizona memorial is very humbling. It will definitely make you appreciate those who protect our freedom. Snorkeling at Hanauma bay is also amazing...the fish will come right up and eat frozen peas from you... if you have an underwater camera (I did not) there are really good waterproof cases for phones and you get amazing pictures!🐠
HONOLULU!! 🌸✈️🏖 I hope you all enjoy this vlog where I take you all with me to one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been! Have you ever been to Hawaii? Which island? Thanks everyone for watching! 🤗
I’ve been to 3 of the islands, Oahu, Maui, and the Big Island. Out of the 3, I would say that Maui was my favorite.

I loved Hawaii! I have timeshare with Hilton and stayed at the Hilton Hawaiian Village on Oahu. I loved the wildlife hike we took to see waterfalls and the trip up to Diamond head. North Shore was also nice (although touristy)
Moriah M oooh how cool! I haven’t been to the north shore get! I’m sure it’s beautiful (even if it’s touristy)! Thanks for watching 🤗
If you get a chance, stay at the Hilton Waikoloa Village near Kona. Best place I've ever stayed!
Much more outdoorsy things to do if you enjoy that
I love your videos, Julia. Hawaii looks so beautiful! It’s definitely a destination we’d like to visit in the future! Have a lovely holiday!!
Heidi Howlett Hawaii is stunning!! Seriously everyone is so welcoming and happy. Thank you for watching! 🌸✈️🏖
AIEA Trail loop is another simple hike. You will have to Uber to.
808_ waipahu oooh thank you for the tip!!
yes. I have been to hawaii. I would love to go maui
Maui is beautiful, I only had a "shorter" layover there, so not a whole lot of time to go out and explore but I'm hoping to one day! Thanks for watching!
Maui is really nice. We stayed at the Maui Sheraton and it is perfect!
I think I saw a London bus too :)
Sorry you had to leave.
I just recently found your channel. I love your channel
Welcome Karen! I'm glad you found it and hope you continue to enjoy the content. :)
Same
Go hike the pillboxes at Lanikai next time at sunrise.
Rachael Kerr thank you for the tip, I’m definitely adding that to my list!! 😀
My grandmother somewhat surprised my brother and I to a week in Hawaii, we flew on Delta on a Tristar from SAN to LAX to HNL. We went to the Arizona, the big shopping center and the beach. When we left we took off from the famous reef runway.
You need to do the Mai-Tai bar at the Royal Hawiian on the beach. Fantastic sunsets and a fun bar!
A sunny girl in a sunny place! Hawaii Five O and Miami Vice my fave TV shows. I would do all one side first.
If you're game, try Koko Head Crater hike. Tourists tend to like Honolulu Cookie Co. but locals tend to prefer Big Island Chocolate Co.
Adding KoKo head to my list ! ☺️
My home town!!! Welcome to Honolulu!!!
Ms Julia, I truly enjoy your Flight ✈️ Trip Videos. I also enjoy the way you describe and show where you stay, along with your adventures on each visit. Keep up the Great Work and Always Fly Safe!!! 👏👏👍👍🤗💐
I was on a Royal Carribbean cruise to Hawaii in 1999. My favorite island is Kauai. I did a helicopter tour there.
That is amazing! Our dream RC cruise is out of Hawaii and we'd love to save up and go! Thanks for watching :)
Hawaii is such a beautiful place. I have never been there but I have saw a few videos.
I love Hawaii!! The North shore Waimea Falls is great too!!
I stayed in Waikiki in March! It was amazing! I miss it!
Just found your channel, love it! We love Hawaii too! Went to Kauai and kayaked down a huge river, hiked to a waterfall! Great excursion!
That's amazing, welcome to the channel!!
Glad you are back
working. Take care.
Try Kiritimati island in Kiribati, just a 2+hrs flight from Honolulu, Hawaii
It’s been awhile since I went to Oahu, but visiting the USS Arizona memorial is very humbling. It will definitely make you appreciate those who protect our freedom. Snorkeling at Hanauma bay is also amazing...the fish will come right up and eat frozen peas from you... if you have an underwater camera (I did not) there are really good waterproof cases for phones and you get amazing pictures!🐠
Also, Makapu'u Point Lighthouse trail is cool.
