HELLO FRIENDS!
Umembeso is a traditional ceremony that forms part of the lobola negotiations where the groom gives gifts to bride's parents and family before the wedding. The Ceremony bears much spiritual and cultural significance. It symbolises the coming together of both families and is typically characterised by slaughtering animals and the sharing of gifts.
Gifts for umembeso often include; blankets, doeks, clothing, and goats or sheep.

Jeremiah 21:1-5(KJV) The word which came unto Jeremiah from the LORD, when king Zedekiah sent unto him Pashur the son of Melchiah, and Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah the priest, saying,
