I remember 2015, it was the second time I watched Eurovision (I'm from Mexico) I could only watch the Grand Final, so I hadn't heard any song... it was Latvia's turn, the music started, a bit strange for this part of the world I must say, then she started singing and I was thinking "she's not bad but I think I'm not going to like the song" and suddenly I hear "your love revives my soul" and my head exploded in millions of parts.. She became one of my favorites that night and I think this year it would have been great to see her in Turin.
This definitely should've been the winner, the performance was absolutely stunning. If the actual winner was at least something good and serious like "I'm just a sinner", Latvia would have had a chance to qualify

The song makes me goosebumps. Love Aminata, love this sung, but I was hoping for something more visually interesting that the stage lights and presentation would take the song to a new level. Something was missing. Fog or smoke that would help to understand the feeling of heaviness in the heart and song. Something dreamy, ambient and she could have been bright like pure, loving heart and soul.
