Thank you so very much for taking the time to make the 2 videos for beginners. Your explanations are clear and your diagrams easy to follow. I was especially happy when you showed us how to use a wooden canvas frame to start instead of the more expensive Japanese embroidery frame. It's a more affordable way to try out nui-do and see if we like it. Arigatou gozaimasu!
Another great video! Will you continue with the beginners series? Such as twisting thread? I feel the superimposed designs are quite novel to western embroiderers so they always impress too. Glad you showed the starting and finishing, some leave the knots at the back but they get in the way later on. If you would like to know the English translation for the stitches I am happy to share what I am learning in Canada.
I'm planning to create another beginner's series. I would like to explain the basics step by step. English translation is difficult for me. I'm especially worried about whether I'm understanding the embroidery terminology properly...😣 If there's any expressions that are difficult to understand, I'd be grateful if you could give me some advice.
