Yep they work
They work for me to find water pipes underground, I know they work for that, but I've never tried to do much else with them.
I found a lost water pipe did the crew could not find four days. They were amazed!
Cajun metal detector , I hold them straight out from my shoulders & slightly down . They will cross over metal or water / pipe etc. Try them with a coin .
