I don't get why Hugo was only in the cutscenes. I also don't get why Flynn wasn't an active character and Cali only appeared in the last cutscene of the 3DS version. It would have made sense if the console version and the 3DS version happened at same time with Flynn and Cali only appearing in the console version and Hugo being only in the 3DS version.
Actually the reason why Chompy Mage wasn't seen once in the beginning cutscene is answered in the strategy guide. According to Chompy Mage's bio, he first meets the Doom Raiders in Cloudcracker Prison, and convinces them to let him join by claiming to them he can see though the eyes of every Chompy in Skylands, which is perfect for spying.
Remove 1 sin. The reason chaos could see us (breaking the 4th wall) was because the powers he just received because he mentioned how he could see everything so he wouldn’t be able to see the ‘portal master’ anytime before this moment
He’s basically reached cosmic awareness of the portal master and their influences on his world, and then ever since him discovering this he’s been personally attacking directly at the portal master especially at the beginning of superchargers Very cool

I think there is a reason to both why we never heard of the doom raiders, as well as where chompy mage is. My theory is that the doom raiders were put into cloud cracker prison before the events of any of the games, and for chompy mage, he wasn't in the doom raiders yet, he was doing his own thing all the way back in giants. And when he was defeated in giants, he was put in cloud cracker aswell, then joining the doom raiders. Of course, this probably isn't right but I just wanted to share my take on what happened.

My theory about Flynn’s ship not landing next to the objective is that it requires fuel and only has enough to land there and just make it back to the academy. He may be the best pilot in all of Skylands because he is able to consistently deal with this handicap. It would also explain why the ship explodes in Time Town, it has fuel.
If there wasn't a academy I imagine they would just find Eon like the ruins in spyros adventure or the just have their own house like the Mabu do🤷♀️ Also when wolfgangs spins the wheel the first time why didn't he travel to the future ? Nothing changes the second time he does it right ?

This was the very first game I ever bought with my own money. This soon became my second favorite Skylanders game… and sadly the last one before I got rid of every thing related to Skylanders on my 11th birthday.

The second why we had never heard of the doomraiders, was because they where dangerous, but, i think, they came later. And there are a couple more that are way stronger and dangerous than them and that is for example the arkeyans and kaos.
One thing you forgot is that in the final level, Kaos has this thing which can literally give him the control of the Portal Master's controller, and he uses it to make the controller vibrate...
1:01 it's because the other trapmasters are attacking other villains that might be terrorizing skylands and it would resemble some sort of realism because the doomraiders are not that powerful and they don't have an army so the trapmasters can send out a few trapmasters to take care of the villains while the rest can plan other things
Despite having many plot-holes due to TFB's incapacity to write consistent stories at the time (Crash 4 proved that they learned from their mistakes so big kudos to them), Trap Team remains my favourite game in the series. The ability to trap villains and hear them shout and scream in the portal is just genius and felt like a true evolution of the toys to life genre.
What about Buzz being the head of the Mabu Defence force? Isn't General Robot the leader and founder? Was Buzz just really old and thrown to a high rank when the whole thing was cobbled together? Shouldn't Kaos be super powerful if how stinky things are is directly proportional to power? He's always described as smelling more horrible than anything else in external media. By the game's own logic he could take a whiff of his own socks after leaving them for a week. And what's with the light and dark elements? Are they new or ancient because they aren't needed to rebuild the core of light so I have no clue myself and there's evidence for both.

Trap Team is still one of my favorite games of all time. If only my old Xbox 360 didn't act up as much as it does, I'd replay this in a heartbeat. I'd probably mess around with some glitches like the Hood Sickle teleport and the Swap Force double jump.

As for 34, Kaos’s lair was mentioned to have camouflage technology. He could’ve been hiding at the academy with the Doom Raiders in disguise.

Trap Team is still one of my favorite games of all time. If only my old Xbox 360 didn't act up as much as it does, I'd replay this in a heartbeat. I'd probably mess around with some glitches like the Hood Sickle teleport and the Swap Force double jump.

If you trap and play as Kaos, you’ll see he has several abilities that could easily attack them if they were to fight back.

Guys, i played out skylanders imaginators the storyline out, what else can I do because idk what do do now. Is the only thing talking to the brain
you can unlock the sensei realms, play the arena, the dlc's, collecting imaginite and completing the game at 100% and much more like races and online races
spend an ungodly amount of money to get the 15 extra levels

For the sky highland one , all the other ships come out the rocket in the level
1. The game is insanely hard
2. Elemental gates can only be opened by trap masters
3. No PvP
4. Over forty different trap molds
5. The trap masters outshine the new cores
6. Light and dark skylanders are too expensive
7. Has worst figure wave releases
8. Quantity over quality
These reasons are why Trap Team is my 4th favorite Skylanders game.
I mean its 100 percent reasonable why trap masters would outshine new cores. They are the new gimmick skylanders of the game.

If the heads at know it all islands have been seen before then it is safe to assume that stone heads who know EVERYTHING will be big news, and it would also probably be big news that an island with the popularity that one will most likely has that a large amount of people would hear about it the island was taken over by hostile enemies.

Just because there hasn't been a academy in decades doesn't mean skylanders didn't train since the last academy, also skylanders protect mabu thats why they would be at the opening. Tons of your "sins" are extremely easily answered.
