heatherrs141 it doesn't really make sense to me, but the studio didn't want us listing the products in the description box because I guess they don't want it to seem like the movie or the studio are affiliated with any of the brands that are used. When you're dealing with huge companies the legal stuff gets VERY tricky! I knew people would be upset if they couldn't find what products I used, so I got sneaky and listed them in a blog post instead. ;)

I love this look, and you are stunning! I tried the same shade of lipstick that you are wearing a few months ago, but my mom said I looked too outdated. That said, my grandmother loved it, and said that I remind her of the pinups she grew up with. I guess you made me realize that even with brown hair, light brown eyes, and fairer skin, you can still pull off red lips. :)

This is just superb, I been tryin to find out about "1920 flapper dress pattern" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across - Panadarson Flapper Falbala - (do a search on google ) ? Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my partner got cool results with it.

Beautiful modern take on the 20's look! The Clara Bow "moon" shaped brows were the fashion back then, as well as very fair skin, so this is definitely a little bit of a departure, but perfect for current day

I think the point was to just use it as an inspiration & Mix it with modern makeup
it kind of is..yesterday i searched it up because my homecoming dress is 1920 and i wanted a makeup look that matches, they like lighter foundation, blush, darker eyes and red lipstick..sorry to disappoint you

You pretty much did the opposite of how people in the 20s would do their makeup. I'm not saying it's bad, you look stunning, but it's not even remotely 20s.
Annelies van Overbeek I agree from what I've been researching about it - it's pretty minimal in the eye department. Do you have any recs for eyeshadow colour for grey eyes in the 20's style, I've not seen any advice on it so far.

I am sorry, but how this has something to do with 20's make up look? The woman in The Age of Adaline has nothing to do with the strong, dark brows and the colour of the eyeshadow you used. She barely has something on her face, actually. The make up look is stunning, but I don't think it matches to your idea.

I love this look so much. As you said it was 1920's inspired, but most of this is not at all historically accurate. If you guys are looking for something more historically accurate, I recommend watching Zebrena's 1920's makeup look. This as she said, was meant to be a wearable look. And this concludes my ted talk.
