It's why the line: “I owe you an apology Miss Hart.” with her reply being “Everybody does.” hit you differen't knowing all the rough patches she's had in life. Didn't help that the actors and characters seemed to have better chemistry when done like that.(In my opinion) But we all know how it ended and how many thought it should've ended.

I'm not saying Riley's a bad friend but in season 1 when both Farkle and Lucas took Maya and Riley on a date, Maya was hurt because of what happened with Josh. Everyone could see that Maya was hurt, even Lucas, yet Riley had to ask Lucas if she could talk to Maya when she was in real pain. The fact that she even had to ask for confirmation kind of bothered me.

I'm heartbroken that GMW is cancelled, but the one good thing that came out of it is that I don't have to watch Maya be on the sidelines to Riley and Lucas, because it hurt too much to not see Maya get what she deserves. I lowkey disliked Riley because the way she told Lucas that they were gonna be sister and brother, it sounded like she was trying to hold him back (or I’m just overthinking). And I also disliked Farkle a little bit cuz he thought he was right about telling Riley that Lucas really liked her, while as I saw, Lucas did love Maya, he just hasn’t made up his feelings and his thoughts yet. Riley had everybody, but Maya didn’t, Maya only had Riley, Riley meant the whole world to her, I think that’s why she stepped back again for the happiness of her world - Riley.

Riley told Lucas that they were brother and sister so that he could be with Maya. And Farkle was right. Riley really liked Lucas while Maya didn't. Riley liked Lucas since the beginning and he liked her too. That's why when Maya became Riley, he only then start to have feelings for her. And same for Maya, it's only when she become Riley that she start to have feelings for Lucas. Lucas cares about Maya but only like a brother while he likes Riley like his girlfriend. Maya only really liked Josh. And I understand that you say that Riley have everybody but Maya have everyone too. She have her mother, her new dad, she have Riley, Farkle and Lucas even if it's not like a boyfriend. They still are her friend. She basically have all that Riley have.

I just can't believe that he picked Riley, I mean, no hate but Riley and Lucas are so forced to be together, doesn't seem any natural, it's kinda cringy the way they interact, but with Maya it was a total different story, they really liked each other, in the campfire scene he was the one who started the almost- kiss, while with Riley, she was the one who kissed him.
I strongly believe that the writers couldn't change the thing and make it Lucaya bc the serie it's about Riley, but we all know that the best option or the better one was Maya.

It's not about losing or having everything. That's not the point of Girl Meets World. From a writer's pov, it's about Maya and Riley found something as they grow up. Lessons learn, love of family, friends and opportunities. In ways... Riley's story is nothing like Boy Meets World. If you notice, it's more towards Jane Austen's Emma/Clueless. And Maya is about holding on to hope (Jane Austen's Persuasion). It's pretty obvious that Riley is going to end up with Farkle. But the main story as well, will Maya fall in love with Lucas again, whom she once fell for real once. Is her real feelings the same for Josh?
