    1) Can we use more than one cloud at the same time?
    For example on service cloud there is a website portal for customer so will that be service cloud with experience cloud? Or do we get website portal login in service cloud only?
    2) If a government is offering some services to people in public domain so which org edition and licences they are likely to use also a customer portal should be available?

      @Rotive  Рік тому

      Hi Neha,
      You can use multiple products (clouds) at the same time with Salesforce. You may need to purchase extra licenses to so. Salesforce has many different SKUs with different included features. Sales Cloud and Service Cloud can both be expanded with Experience Cloud to create portals where a customer or partner needs to log in.
      Salesforce actually has a "Government Cloud" which encompasses different government focused solutions built on the Salesforce platform. They are essentially highly customized CRMs for the needs of government organizations. A salesperson can help you figure out what features you need and what package would fit best.

    Hi, with the identity licence that’s allowing single sign on to your Salesforce account through integrated apps. Do I assign it to a a generic email address within the business? Also, when using the identity licence with integrations with other apps like Zapier for example, because this identity licence doesn’t allow access to all the data, will the information still cross reference if I use this account to connect the two platforms? I hope this is clear, thank you.

      Hi Enna, That's right. I believe the Identity License has very limited access to Saelsforce data. You can use it for access to Pardot (Marketing Cloud Account Engagement) data, but I think you'll have to buy a full Salesforce license if you want to give Zapier full access. I would check with a Salesforce AE in case there are other license types specifically for this purpose that might be less expensive.

    Hello Brian, could you please advice how can a user view the chatter (on Account Feed) without assigning the Salesforce standard Licence. Thank in advance

    • @Rotive
      @Rotive  Рік тому +1

      Hi jihane. Good question. I don't think Chatter Free licenses can access the feed on Salesforce objects. I think they can only see posts in Chatter Groups. I'm not 100% on that, but I know they won't have access to Accounts separate from the feed. I would create a user with the Chatter Free license type to test it out.

      @@Rotive Thank you so much for your feedback, It already tested and I confirm that Chatter Free User cannot had any object visibility. I'm looking for workaround or advice 🙂

      @Rotive  Рік тому +1

      @@jihanemess2665 Hmm... You could create a Flow that posts the content of the Chatter Post to a Group. Essentially you're duplicating the record related Chatter Post and relating it to a Group instead.

    then whats the difference between Salesforce Essentials and Salesforce Platform?

    • @Rotive
      @Rotive  Рік тому

      The term Salesforce Platform is sometimes used to represent the Salesforce technology that underlies Sales Cloud and Service Cloud. It has a bunch of features and benefits that those to apps are built on top of.
      Salesforce Platform Licenses are a less expense license option that lets you build custom apps on the platform but doesn't give you access to the Sales or Service features. If you have a very custom app in mind that wouldn't need Leads or Opportunities or Cases, etc it's an option worth considering. An example: you want to track and manage the logistics around a cloud kitchen business. Probably don't need traditional sales and service objects and features for that so you can buy platform licenses and build something custom without needing code.
      Essentials Edition is the Sales Cloud option aimed at small businesses. It has limited customization and automation capabilities but comes with all the standard stuff most businesses need: opportunities, leads, cases, etc. It even has some extra service functionality like Knowledge and a customer self-service portal.
      Always good to talk to a Sales person at Salesforce about the differences. They're always updating their options.
