Just thought you should know that my son doesn't mind watching your videos with me. He thinks your pretty. He is 8, but developmentally behind due to autism and other things and it can be hard to get him to slow down sometimes. However, when I start one of your videos he will stop and watch your video with me. I find your voice to be calming and I think he likes to listen to you as well. I just thought it was adorable and thought you would like to know. Side note, I also referred your videos to my sister in law since she is just getting into makeup more and we just love you and find you to be so helpful. My 18 year old stepson is severely Autistic. He's non verbal and self harms, amongst other things. He lives in a bespoke care home with carers. He's coming on really well after a very difficult few years and is coping with puberty better than we expected. So proud of him xXx

emilynoel83 ❤️❤️❤️. Emily I have a quick request. You have so much gorgeous lid space to work with and I adore the way you place your shadows. My eyes are the polar opposite. Terribly textured, discoloured, and hooded. Might you film a tutorial for hooded eyes that attempts to re-create your looks, especially techniques for outer corner application with darker matte shades? I have such a difficult time with eyeshadow application not morphing into a muddy, unstructured mess 😩. Appreciate you so much!!

I personally am not excited by the Sultry palette, but good lord, the colors in that palette have such a classy, classy vibe to me. It just strikes me as such a sophisticated grouping of shades, and I could definitely see how it would be such an excellent choice for certain people
Yes! I think it would've made an excellent first palette for me years ago or maybe a college graduation gift because it's perfect for beautiful but office friendly looks
I have it and love it! I am very fair with cool undertones and cannot wear warm shades so this neutral palette is perfect. Plus, I work in financial services which is pretty conservative so this palette is perfect for the office!
I wasn't that excited about it, and I LOVE ABH. Someone gifted it to me, for my birthday, specifically, and you're right. You can do some of the most classic smokey eyes, beautiful soft looks, what will set it apart from the rest of the collect is it is more cool toned. I saw a couple you tubers sayin' it wasn't as cool toned as it says. That is false. It is cool toned. Even the pink isn't quite a "warm" pink. Everyone thinks pink shadow and goes warm. Nope. The only warmish shade is birch, to me. Plus with that black and brown, you can deepen any of those other shades and manipulate the shadows. I'm happy someone got it for me, because otherwise I would've missed a gem.
I have it and really enjoy it. That Cyborg shade is amazing!!
Ooooh, can you do a bunch of one shadow ideas? I'm not sure where to go with that. I suck at doing my eyes, it would make it easier to figure out which colors do best and which formulas and finishes.
I totally agree. I have hooded eyes and I would love to see a 1 to 2 shadow look.
@@debedout34 yes, even two would help so much. A crease and a lid. I don't have the talent. I have tons of palettes have no clue where to go with them. I have very hooded eyes, also.

Misty Telling if you really as you say suck at doing your eyeshadow try some shades that have a true duo chrome finish. Urban Decay single shade Lounge is stunning and is my go to when I am in a huge hurry and I need to look done but just don’t have time. It’s a teal blue shade with a red/brown shift. I have played around with blending it out differently and it never looks bad. There is a very good dupe for it in a WetnWild pallete called Comfort Zone.

Yes! It is the first 9 color palette of theirs that tempts me, but I heard that some of the shades are internally uncommon finishes and a bit less user friendly than their standard shadows 🤞
When I saw the ABH Sultry palette online I was almost offended at how boring it looked, especially for a holiday release. But then I saw it in person and could really see the depth of the colors, mainly the shimmers, and how well they complimented each other -- and I was sold! No regrets, I absolutely love this palette!

I agree the matters in the sultry palette can be a bit tricky to blend but it is so worth it for those shimmers especially considering that it doesnt take long to learn how to play with the mattes

I returned the naked cherry and purchased the sultry palette. I have really been enjoying it. I love the sparkle in the metallic shades for holiday and it is so quick and easy to create a look. I have also been adding bloom over the edges of my crease, a little more lightly than your look. It is a gorgeous shade that really makes the look stand out, even with a small amount. I can’t wait to try the huda nude palette. It looks like the perfect shades for me. I love a good plum and the metallic shades look very intense in reviews. Maybe it will be what I wanted naked cherry to be. I had to use the makeup revolution neutrals 3 to fix the look I created with naked cherry. I love the makeup revolution shadows, especially the mattes. Neutrals 3 and the wants have been my favorite.
Oh Emily! Even when you do a haul, its so thorough. The fact that you include the photos of you wearing the shades and having something to say about each item sets you apart from many other you tubers. Love love love your channel.
The Sultry palette is totally up my alley! I love neutrals and have had both the Soft Glam and the Modern Renaissance and got rid of them because there were too many colors that I wasn’t using. I feel comfortable using every color in the Sultry palette! You can get a great day time look as well sultry night time look! I would love to see a tutorial on a couple looks that you come up with!
I have the sultry palette and it’s amazing. My favorite is to use twig in the crease, plus a mix of ember and rose quartz on the lid. Such good shades and formula!
I love the Sultry palette, I think it's the best ABH has released lately. I also love the BECCA Kitchen kit--it makes for such a pretty festive holiday look.

That red gloss looks lovely on you and I so appreciate you saying that it is more of a warm red because now I know it wouldn’t look right on me. I was so tempted for a few minutes!
You could do a daytime and then holiday look with each of the eyeshadow palettes you got. I.e. A justification to get it for the holidays because look! I can still use it daily..... 😂 the Chrissy kit with the mousse/powder shadow I want to say I read you use the mousse as a base/primer and then the shadow over it. Try it that way and see if it transforms. ❤️
Here's what I think about the sultry palette as a 58 year old woman with moderately textured eyes-- it's a good basic palette that can be used daily especially for a conservative working environment and if you pick up a small palette with vibrant or unusual colors you can combine things for more daring looks. You can find lesser priced eye shadows from Milani or wet n wild or maybelline and Loreal in the drug store that have some jewel tones also. Using high quality eye shadows just makes my daily makeup routine a small luxury.

Hi emily! I love love red lips, even glossy, and would love a video from you in particular on the best red glosses and similar. I've found a few sheer red glosses in the past that I've loved from urban decay and sephora brand but both shades have since been discontinued. Have never really found a highly pignented red gloss that I've loved. This would be the perfect time of year!...
Naomi Lasby Anastasia Beverly Hills has really good pigmented red glosses (as well as pigmented glosses in general). On the ABH website they often have a mini lip gloss kit that has included a red if you don’t want to commit to a full size.

I've been himming and hamming about the sultry palette and I eventually gave in and bought it. I love it, the coral colour is the only colour I won't use. It's a great palette for people like me who don't wear or like mad colours. The amount of palettes I own were i don't use half of the colours is ridiculous. I wear natural browns, greys, subtle pink and a bit of aubergine and that's it ... i use shimmer to add interest to the look and that's enough.
So whilst it maybe boring to you and many others, it's perfect for us subtle eye ladies.
I totally relate! I make myself stick to a 80% rule: 80% of the shades need to be great 'me' shades I'll definitely wear or I won't get it. I don't mind a couple riskier ones to play with but when it's so many I feel guilty then I end up avoiding the palette entirely 🤷💸

The color scheme of the Sultry palette reminds me of an expanded version of your Needs palette. The pop of pink with lots of neutrals.

I know many people think swatches are useless but I don’t agree. Because you demonstrate here that what we observe in the pan, is not always what the shadows look like on the eye. I appreciate that you show not only swatches but notice how they can trick the eye. Love your videos Emily !!!

I dunno if any dupe pallets but I will go to my grave recommending Sydney Grace singles 😂 especially if you have a few dupes in your collection already, just supplement the missing shades

Great haul! I'd like to see a look with the Bobbi Brown purple palette. I've had that in my cart and hands a couple times contemplating buying it.

Hi Emily! I have the Becca lilac geode kit you mentioned in your favorites video. I know it wasn't your favorite but I have actually been using a bit of the powder as a lip topper, it adds a beautiful dimension and a little goes a long way!
