I love it! So relaxing to have this on in the background
...and such drivel too, funny to think this was the Loose Women of its day!
That curry looks mingin'.
Thank you very much for uploading these clips of "Houseparty" - very much appreciated. Do you, or anyone else out there in UA-cam land, happen to know the name of the lady in the green jacket who is speaking ? I only ask as I can identify with a lot of what she is saying. Anyway, once again - many thanks for uploading.
Real house party!
15:20 So Reiki then.
From dressmaking to terminal cancer in one seamless move, without drawing breath! And you thought today's daytime TV galloped through topics... God I can't believe how awful this show is, even by the standards back then! It's so dull - like being stuck with the most talkative, tedious person at a party and unable to make your excuses and escape!
Well they were all more or less experts in their fields. Cherry Marshall had a modelling agency, Anne Ladbury was a dress maker who had her own tv show and I think some of the others were experts in being old bags
+James Sheen This is fascinating & mind bendingly banal at the same time!!!
+Talentedtadpole I know mate.. have you looked up "housewife Waffle" on youtube?
I remember Anne Ladbury so well, she had a successful dressmaking show, lovely lady. Haven't thought about her in years! I wonder what happened to her? I guess she died, bless her heart.
Christ! It was total shite wasn't it! Full marks for capturing this stuff though. In a bizarre way I would guess it has value!.
Am I right they were all Southern TV executives wives and various hangers on?? I seem to remember on or two ghastly characters when the thing started, well up their own arses
Oh my goodness! Jemilah here Cherry's grand-daughter :) Thank you for posting this trip down memory lane! :) I'm doing music now incase you fancy watching my video it's called: 'Stay' by Mrs Findlay xx
