My near death experience was at 5 years old. I was attending daycare and drowned in the pool there. I was resuscitated and brought to life. Everything Colton is describing was my exact experience. I recently watched the film and I’m happy to see you doing well today Colton! I’m now 32 and I study the word each day, traveling and dedicating my life to showing others how to walk this life path in order to get closer to God.

I met he & his Parents many years ago. Colton answered questions I had about Heaven. I had lost both my Parents suddenly & unexpectedly & I didn’t do well mentally & emotionally after their passings. When I eventually saw the film, I had the most amazing encounter with God, that I’ve ever had in my entire life. Heaven is definitely for real.

I feared death for years. When I read the book, it changed my whole way of thinking. I no longer fear death!
When I turned my life over to the Lord and asked Jesus in my heart two and a half years ago, the fear of death is not a thing anymore. I love the Lord and I know he has me.

My hubby died went to Heaven and came back.....in 2010....

Friends of mine lost their eight year old grandson in a farming accident. I sent them the book” Heaven is for Real” as well as the children’s book! They read it and passed around, bringing blessing and healing in their situation! Thank you so much for writing them! It was something I could do to help my friends!

Years ago when I lived in Oklahoma I helped Todd (Coltons ) dad in our church's youth ministry. I knew Todd and Sonja when their daughter was a baby then after they moved to Nebraska Colton was born. Todd is a WONDERFUL God fearing man. For those that doubt Colton's story i can testify that Todd's story is true as told by Colton. Bless you Colton and may God give you direction as your serve Him.
I lost my dad last September to covid. While he was in the hospital i saw a vision of him perched up in his hospital bed hands raised to heaven and a light from above. I thought that vision was about healing. When he passed away I understood it was affirmation on his journey to heaven. Outside that hospital is a statue of Jesus with arms open. I stood in front of it for several minutes on the day I was collecting his body with burial with my family. Colton’s story gives affirmation to me and many Christians. We cannot lose hope. Jesus is there to take care of us in heaven and he is coming back soon. Death is a portal to where the souls goes on to wait, peaceful and happy for god’s plan to happen.

For me, his testimony kept my head toward heaven knowing that after numerous miscarriages God has heard me! I have a family in heaven and on earth and I adore them.
I had a miscarriage too almost 6 months ago and I just got done watching the movie I named my baby butterfly 🦋 because I never got to find out the gender of my baby and when I saw the scene in the movie when Colton and his family was with the butterflies 🦋 I was so shocked but when his mom had the miscarriage and Colton saw his sister in heaven I cried. Because something told me to watch this movie. And I think it’s a way of God saying is that my baby is okay and that I’m gonna be okay
We sleep in the earth until the first resurrection takes place after the millennial reign Revelation chapter 20. No one has ascended to heaven but he that descent , which is Yeshua ( Christ). I've watched "Heaven is real" twice. It has comforted me in ways that are hard to explain. I buried a son that was full term. He died from his umbilical cord being wrapped around his neck. His name was Richard William. He would be in his thirties now. I think of him often. Colton's experience has answered many questions for me that I had had concerning what it must be like for him in heaven and if he knew me or thought of me. I miss and love him so much even today I still love him deeply and think of him often. Thanks to God giving Colton his experience and him sharing that experience with the world has given me a sense of great peace about all of it. Thank you Colton Burpo, and may God continue to bless you and the life He has planned for you!
Go listen to Kat Kerr, she has been to Heaven a lot and answers so many questions about Heaven. Your heart will be full once more.

I had an experience with the Lord, I was praying to him as I fell asleep,he pulled me out of my body and surrounded me with his presence, and we went on some kind of adventure in the spirit world, he answered questions and told me 'not to worry' (I had extreme anxiety) when he brought me back it was the middle of the night and I felt his power, for a few hours, his mission makes sense if you knew the power he had, his love is so overpowering you will break down crying to even think about it

Jesus told us there is a Heaven. Talked about His Fathers House and said he’d come back for believers. But we always want more. Human nature I guess. Thank you God for giving us more and more.
Having a relationship with God here on earth is to me heaven on earth. I'm almost 70 and I'm really looking forward to being able to be with God in person face to face and see how much more amazing His creations are there. His creations here on earth blow my mind so I can't imagine how much more they will blow my mind there. 💕❤️💕
I had to look up yolo. You only live once! I am 76. I had tears thinking about how kind God was to send this young man back. I am so glad he is strong in his faith still. May the Lord continue to use him day by day for His glory. I am so glad that God sent him back to Earth for us. Grace to him in everything every day! Amen

It’s amazing seeing Colton all grown up now! I remember seeing his testimony on The 700 Club like 10 years ago as I was graduating college, and hearing his Dad and Mom’s story relating to his experience. All praise to The Most High, ALL Glory to GOD.

I get the warm fuzzy feeling sometimes from the Holy Spirit... I know Colton's situation... You feel blanketed in God's love and it makes you sweat often... It's really intense... Remember brethren Jesus calls the Holy Spirit "Our comforter" when he sends the Holy Spirit of Promise to Believers! Amen!
Ihaave died too June 13 2017 and a paramedic brought me back in the ambulance. I heard God’s voice telling me that my life on Earth was n ot over, had to something to finish in my life.
I'm so happy he was honest in sharing that he still had to battle with questions, as well all do growing up, in his faith journey.
Nothing he claims was honest. he never went to heaven. that is a story his pastor father coach him to say., his father being a pastor knew it would get many people to convert to Christianity. That’s the only purpose of that totally fabricated story. Is to manipulate people into converting.
I hugged Jesus when I was little too. I remember being in a golden meadow & heading angelic music coming from the sky. I think he visits little children when they’re experiencing trauma of some kind. He ‘really does travel with us. ’ I’ve had a couple of very quick moments feeling like I was in heaven, but that hasn’t happened for a couple of decades now. I wish it did.

You're a one on one Christian like me. Where ever I go I share Jesus. This has been since was 29, now 70. I had an opened vision where the sister who brought me to the Lord was in biblical clothes like Jesus. Jesus had His arm around the sister and His head upon her shoulder. I said, I want kind of life. It's Jesus and me since 2012, my sister that Jesus gave to me went Home. No worries I have seen her up there.
I believe him because I had my own experience three times. So I know many people get to experience Heaven and see things differently for God's purpose.
I read the book after my mother passed away. Her passing was so final...it caused me to question everything. Reading the book gave me great comfort and healing. Thank you for sharing your experience.

When I was about 10, I began drowning in a lake. My sister wasn’t far from me, but she was busy throwing a ball with other kids & just didn’t see me. As I went down for the 3rd time, there just wasn’t any more strength in my arms. I was scared because I thought my lungs would burn or it would be horrible. To my surprise I felt a cozy warmth like a big hug. It was total joy. I think it did feel like warm honey, like Colton described. I had no pain whatsoever. Actually it was extremely pleasant. Luckily a teenager who was an off-duty lifeguard saw me. He jumped off the deck in his clothes & swam through seaweed & saved me. Don’t fear death. If you know Jesus, I know it will be a wonderful experience when He decides to take you home.
@@kathleenandrews1563 thank you Kathleen for sharing your experience with me, you had a very unique experience, as a kid I had a similar experience , but instead I felt horrible when I could not breath but thanks to GOD , the lifeguard saw me and saved me , and my aunt told me stupid why do you go to the deep pool , there's one for kids. I felt ashamed but I thank God for saving me not only from many accident that I had as a kid but for making me a different person.
@@aguilamexicana27 I just wondered how old you were & if you had asked Jesus into your heart yet. And I must have been unconscious because I have no memory of the teen boy saving me. I woke up on the sand, choking with a horrible looking monster above me with seaweed hanging all over him. He explained he was a lifeguard in his real job, but was just just standing on a faraway dock enjoying the view & on vacation. And then he was gone. And my Mom was yelling at me too! What’s the matter with you! What in the world were you thinking! It must be a panic mode for Moms. I remember I was horribly embarrassed!
@@kathleenandrews1563 I was on third grade around 9-10 years old , I have a sister that came back from a comma and she says that she saw a beautiful lady and she was gathering flowers near a river and she took my sister's hand and brought her back across and that's the moment she came back from the comma, Nothing like your experience ,I thank God for saving you from that incident , after you saw that monster of algae saving you from being drawn in the water ! Now you have a great faith because you saw that there's life after death like my sister, I thank God for showing you his love.

Christians need to remember that just as David fell with Bathsheba we are all still human beings and if any of us could be perfect Jesus wouldn't have had to come. I read this book on the drive to my grandma's funeral about 11 years ago. Then when I miscarried my sweet baby, I remembered the story he told about his sister and it's brought me a lot of comfort. I'm already a believer, but I love these stories that just enhance my faith.
Please let Colton know that before his story came out most Christians could not really even imagine heaven even though they believed it existed. My generation of baby boomers thought heaven sounded boring with harps and angels. I really sensed a shift in the whole of the Christian community by you and many others like Kat Kerr in sort of bringing heaven to earth. This was a timing thing from God's perspective that He released this to us. God released it through you, Colton, someone who was genuine not just because you were young. We all have a chosen purpose that God plans for our lives (Ps. 139). A book written in heaven about us. Your purpose was more impactful than most of our lives to the world but God is answering the prayer He told us to pray... May it be on earth as it is in heaven! Thank you and God bless you!
I was amazed that the movie was centered around your burst appendix. I walked around for 3 months with a burst appendix and God gave me my own angel to help as well! The movie brought that time back to me!

I had to have a midnight appendectomy last year. I had alot of comfort in the knowledge I belong to Christ. I got through it ok. In 2007 I had an emergency surgery and I had an out of body experience after having a burst tumor. I didn't have to do anything but trust HIM.
There was total peace...If He took me away, that was OK, but if I stayed that was OK as well. Medical personnel sought me out later because they knew I died and then returned. I knew they corroborated my memory of it right there. God Bless you all. Give Christ your life, I've never been sorry I did.
(evie ball) reading your book (ur Dad’s) made a Huge difference in my life! I lost my baby boy when I was 8 months pregnant, it felt like he did a ‘summersault’ & then never moved again! This was my 2nd child, I had a toddler at the time. My Dr sent me home with medication (to start labor) & to stay in bed (with a toddler).... about 3 1/2 weeks in..... my Mom visited every week & hubby checked one on us every day...... on this day, my Mom noticed red streaks going down from my tummy & down my legs. She called the Dr & he had her take me to ER...... long story, I’ve written it & getting ready to post it.....
I sobbed all through the book cause for the first time, I realized my baby was in Heaven
Not only is your baby in heaven, you also get a chance to raise your baby. You should look up the testimonies of Kat Kerr who has been to heaven lots of times, so much insight. God bless.

She is one of very few and sometimes the only person that has confirmed many spiritual experiences that I had personally that I never shared or talked about with anyone.
Can't tell how amazed I was to hear someone else talk about this stuff. It's almost like confirmation that I wasn't alone or crazy.
As Colton continued to share I noticed how he kept looking up.
This is a clear sign observed by experts as....remembering facts.
He kept doing it as he talked and recalled his experiences.
I saw the movie, and believed everything he was telling people.

That was inspiring to hear. I wasn't sure Colton would be still so positive about it all after so many years. The question why God chose him is easy to answer after listening to him, because he is such a great messenger for God and really sweet. I hope he can stay that way through life's difficult trials.

People down vote this interview NoT because they don’t believe in Christ, but because Todd’s experience is NOT founded in the word of God and much of what he says is down right ridiculous. The interviewer does a terrible job by not challenging him.

Colton and his parents visited our church (First Baptist Church of Atlanta) at about the time of the release of their book and movie. Our son (now 24) was one of the assistants on the stage crew. When I asked our son how Colton behaved when he was off stage, our son said Colton kept to himself and prayed a lot. That helped convince me that Colton was telling the truth about his experiences in Heaven. Also in this video, Colton described the warmth on top of his head by the Holy Spirit and how that occurs all the time in Heaven. I experienced that once when my husband and I were visiting a church member who died later that day. As we circled his bed to pray for him with one of our pastors, I felt a warmth resting on top of my head. Our church member was smiling at the Holy Spirit / the Lord above my head. What Colton said in this video was used as another confirmation by the Lord that He was allowing that experience to happen to me to encourage our church member before he passed into Heaven.
I hope he reaches more and more young people especially, doing the Lords work. Beautiful young man.

C.B. claims to have seen the Father, in direct contraindication to Jesus' words, therefore it is not true.
C.B.'s story should be rejected on many grounds, not the least of which is his description that God is "really, really big". On the contrary, the Bible says God is SPIRIT. Furthermore, Colton claims that everyone looks like angels in heaven with wings. But since the resurrection of a believer's transformed body HAS YET to take place, their form in heaven MUST MUST MUST lack physical attributes!
Moreover, if God strictly refuses to allow someone to come FROM heaven to deliver messages (Luke 16) it stands to reason He would not allow someone to COME TO heaven (and back) to deliver messages, when Luke 16 categorically says the Scriptures are sufficient and He expects us to walk by FAITH before heaven becomes a reality in time.
No one is in heaven right now according to the Bible says...If we read the Bible with prayer we will know the reason those who when to heaven like enoch,Elijah,moses and some saints.
There is a purposes and reason for that.
I can say that Colton show was not a real heaven and Jesus and angels, but they are fallen angels,a demons,
They(Fallen angel) can transform into a light. I understand when i hear Colton story which is contradict what Bible says. He show his grandfather and others. No one is into heaven right now.They are still in grave.

COLTON...my mother died in Mar.2011. Her pastors wife, gave me your book at her funeral, and it LITERALLY was YHWH s ANSWERING of a prayer i prayed a week before my mom died. I had been asking YHWH to increase my faith.
The book , has changed life and my FAITH in YHWH and his TRUTH and the Scripture REALITY .
It still affects my faith and its 2021. Ten years.

i experienced YHWH speak to me....actually questioning me once ( while i was in a group prayer moment) and when he asked it...i felt warm honey LOVE come all over me.... never heard anybody else experience that too!
19:00 journaling is important for me, i had a relative who interpreted dreams and that gave me a memory to remember my dreams. And this man bought homes by his dreams, the answers to prayer. He journaled everything as God directed, yet, he said God did not tell him to publish his writings. He passed the knowledge on to his family and each of them say Praise God,,, in their daily lives! I like the genuineness of Colton, for instance, he is training and studying to be an electrician. Many people might have tried to use such an experience to elevate themselves above others, to assume they should be a big time preacher or TV evangelist and for financial gain which would cheapen and corrupt the simplicity and beauty of the event. God's timing and the person he chose shows His great wisdom. Colton's nonchalant way of handling it provides the authenticity it needs and places the event on the level of the everyday person, who then can relate and believe that this is for them also, and not exclusively for "special people" only. I love the way Colton just presents it as even though it is an extraordinary thing, it is and extraordinary thing available to all who will receive Jesus. Jehovah is Good and truly Awesome

He is correct!!! I have had my own personal experiences with the almighty myself. It’s so beautiful when you feel that divine unconditional love comes flowing through you. It’s so indescribable …once you have felt this divine love you can no longer be in denial of its existence. That relationship is available for everyone here 🥰🙏💗

I simply can't put my finger on it, but Colton is like an angel in disguise. Perhaps it is all that is inside of him knowing the Eternal Life that he briefly experienced as a child in the Kingdom of God! Would so like to give him a hug, and a kiss on the cheek to acknowledge this incredible love of the Holy Spirit that resides in him. I can't imagine him zombie like walking down the street possessed by his iphone like most of the world's population at this hour and those of his age who have truly lost their way, and it seems no way out for them......but..... Jesus!
My children were having such a hard time with the passing of a step sibling and I had them read your book, " Heaven is for Real" and it has given them such peace and understanding of life everlasting.

I read the book and am convinced that Heaven is for real! That little boy convinced me when he said that Heaven has more colors than we see here. And he mentioned revelation....yikes and yep. I'm convinced! I really like it when I get asked about Jesus, if I'm a believer. Without a doubt YES...and they ask me how I know....my answer is always the same. A 3 year old told me!!
I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ and much of what Colton shares is what I believe and what my Church teaches including children under 8 are saved to celestial glory, knowing God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost are 3 personages, families are forever, life after death, continuous learning, the love of God and Christ for all of us. Seems like the Lord likes to speak or show 4 yo things. I know of someone else who was 4 y.o, and saw a vision, I was 4 y.o when Jesus spoke to me in an audible voice, telling me I needed to forgive someone I was beginning to hate, for stealing my things. He is Real, Heaven is Real. All who are truely repentant and put their and trust in Jesus will be saved! Please do this today! He loves you so much!
I also had a near death experience. I was met by 2 glowing spirits and the love I felt from the spirit world was incredible. It is impossible to put into words what I was feeling. I was given a choice to stay because my job on earth was finished or I could go back to earth. Seeing I was newly married and had a stepson I chose to stay here in this reality. Changed my life for sure.

A good question "why he picked me". Why some of have heavenly encounters or visits and others don't? I believe there are two reasons. 1, It's too much for the person to handle. The experience of God, Heaven or Angels can derail some of us emotionally for multiple reasons. This is especially true if we lose a loved one and God does not allow them to stay. People may resent God after experiencing something so amazing and yet God allowed their loved one to die. 2, We refuse to share what they experienced. Many of us are caught up in what others say and think about us. The thought of our experience being rejected and ridiculed freezes us, therefore we keep it to ourselves. The thing is God knows this about us, so He doesn't give some of us these miraculous experiences. Colton has been sharing this story all his life. No doubt Colton has gone through life's ups and downs, yet he is still sharing his testimony.
Colton, you had a true heavenly, visit. I believe you have a true calling. I have read and shared your book, and seen the movie 3 times. I live in Denver too..near the butterfly pavillion. Your beautiful experience with Jesus, being very ill, was so beautiful and sweet.... My son is 22 years old. He also loves the Lord, and I wish you could meet, as he lives here in colo, also. He had the experience because he died briefly and all kids go to heaven when they die. Plus his testimony brings comfort to others. That's my take on it.
He never actually died, it was a near death experience.
Just finished watching the movie. Can't wait to borrow the book to read in more detail. So glad this young man still has a great faith in God and has grown into such down-to-earth & sincere man. Yet his story still strengthened my faith and cheered me up, though I already believe Jesus and Heaven are all real.

8 years after my grandpa passed away, I dreamed that he brought me diamonds from heaven. And they were big diamonds and they were blue and pink and white and they were so big they were all like, the size of a nickel only bigger. Since I've had that dream I think about it quite a bit and I shared it with some of my family. I hope it helps them.
I have heard someone say that the precious stones/gems are very large in Heaven.
Yes I've heard their sizes of unbelievable hugeness for lack of better words.. I told my friend about this dream that I had one time and I told him that my father in Heaven is very rich, and he thinks I'm just serving the Lord Jesus for his riches. People don't understand. I'm in it for the love not the riches. It is also about my Godly heritage. My Grandpa (the one who is in my dream) was a Pentecostal evangelist, and preached Revival's all over the United States. That is my heritage. ♥️💕♥️

We were very very close. My Mom said she had a dream she saw him through a thick glass wall. He was marching with other men in a circle, men she recognized as church elders. I told her he must be in the Lord’s Army, like the children’s song.

After watching the film , "Heaven is Real" , am very happy that it was filmed and someone, somewhere, will also be touched . Heaven is real, so as Angels, Saints, separated souls, Mama Mary and our Lord Jesus Christ. Others may not believe other's personal encounter, and maybe spiritual envy arises to some, well, that their problem.
Worry free like a child, and trust, believe in the existence of Jesus and Mary and the Chooir of Angels.

It happened to my Dad Stacy Smith when his surgery went wrong. Then during the time he flat lined and they were working on him and of course he was asleep with the IV. He told the Doctor and nurses he saw and heard him. They didn't believe him, so he told them what they said and did during that time. They were shocked.
