Yes most likely because Cupid is roman and Eros is his greek counterpart in his myth he tried shooting someone so that they will love a ugly beast but he tripped and the arrow stabbed him in the leg he didn't allow his love to see him and when she went to see him anyway she was in actual pain because of his beauty so yes they will come off as beautiful especially since cupid is the son of Aphrodite
