That's one beautiful 27' sailboat 👍🏻
Enjoyed the video and the others I’ve watched. Probably a dozen or so this far. I’m considering an IP 27 and that’s how I found these. I want to sail back to the Keys fairly soon and I think this could be the boat now for my wife and me. Sailed out of Pascagoula for a long time. Thanks!
p.s. One Particular Harbor makes me grab my guitar.
Nice sailing and great video!
Thanks for watching, Madison!
Excellent video. I really like the POV filming approach and the detail in arranging the slip etc. I do a lot of single handed sailing and your video really show what is involved. And yes, lazy jacks are great when the sail is coming down, but a pain when they are going up.
I really appreciate this feedback. Thank you!
I enjoyed this video.....thanks for sharing. It's obvious you certainly know what you're doing.....impressive. My sailing buddies and I will be in Pirate's Cove the first week of October.....please look for us....I'll be on Shutter Speed.
I will do that!
Great vid.
Appreciate the feedback!
Love the videos and the tunes.
steven scoggins Thanks for watching!
Great video! Thanks for sharing.
I'm really digging that first song. What was it?
It is One Particular Harbor by Jimmy Buffet. It is the live version on Live from Anguilla. I love that song, too!
Thanks for sharing. Maybe upload the same video without music. I would love it if you took out the music and just let us listen to the sails. I know this maybe boring to you but if you haven't experienced the sounds….it would be awesome.
I will leave a section without music in the next video. :-)
Thanks for the quick reply!
Love this video. You always pick the best music. Most of the people pick non boating songs. My opinion is that Kenny, Jimmy, Zac Brown etc add to the videos. A job well done. My question for you is: Did you reef your sails or just took them down and motored the rest of the way because of the upcoming storm?
Appreciate the feedback, Joseph!
I was going directly in the wind so I'm pretty sure I left the main up.
I've been noticing that you keep the companionway closed. Why is that? Could it be that the individual slats are a nuisance to store? Just curious. Not a sailor and no boat experience. Thank you.
Hey, Fred, I did on this leg because I was thinking their might be some light rain.
Love your videos. One thing scares me though. I do not see any evidence of you using a safety harness and jack lines. Do you use them?
Yes, I have really good ones and I use them. It was calm and I was taking pictures. :-)
:-) Great! Have you ever practiced falling off a boat ant then getting back onboard while the boat is sailing itself?
um... your boat doesn't have a wind vane xD are you calling an autopilot your wind vane?
Cawfee Dawg Autopilot is autopilot. Wind vane is wind generator.
