Some funny trivia for the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, the actor who played the Hitchhiker ended up being personally thanked by Texas State Police because the role he played in the movie taught people not to pick up hitchhikers, and Texas overall saw a drastic decrease of crime regarding hitchikers. Hey Dylan if you read this... Did you know the Crazy Hitchhiker in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre also provide the voice of Dr. Eggman in the Sonic OVA? As a fan of both Horror and Sonic, that's an interesting fact.
The Terminator is in my top ten favorite movies of all time. The gritty 80s techno atmosphere, the eerie synth score, it blends wonderfully with a story about a brutal, cold machine hunting down an innocent woman. The growth of Sarah Conner into someone more capable as she survives this nightmare, the brutality showing just how relentless this cyborg is and how bleak the future wars are, Kyle Reese’s fittingly traumatized and paranoid demeanor really selling his side of the situation, it’s a phenomenal bit of sci-fi horror. Slasher? Probably not, but it is terrifying and I feel like that’s always part of the weight in the first two Terminator films.
I’m obsessed with slashers and could watch people talk about them all day. I am very much looking forward to the rest of this video, as well as the upcoming sequels to this iceberg video. May I suggest incorporating slasher movie sequel subtitle formats for the next part of the iceberg? Like “Ultimate Slasher Movie Iceberg 2: The Revenge” and “Slasher Iceberg 3: The Iceberg’s Curse”
At 21:30 I recognized the soundtrack to Diablo 1! Why do I keep catching these obscure-yet-good musical tracks from your content? It's like we have the same childhood.
Halloween is a very well directed movie. It’s a case of a simple plot but near flawless execution. The first person POV creating a mysterious aura until the chilling twist that he was a child in the opening, the tracking shot of him stalking that kid in the car after school being unsettlingly believable creeper fuel, Donald Pleasance’s genuinely terrified acting, the ambiguity of whether Micheal is actually supernatural or just super crazy(Which is why I feel like you can’t do a sequel that matches up to it, the original really did give that perfect amount of information.), that image of the Shape’s mask in the pitch dark making him look like a ghost almost, it’s so good. The fear comes more from the stalking and not knowing why he is what he is, or even fully understanding what he is, in my opinion at least.

The Puppet Master would make an amazing Iceberg in itself. Can I suggest it for an upcoming video possibly? Not demanding or nothing. My favourite slasher movie is (if you count it as one is) Puppet Master 2. I like most of the series, but 2 feels the most like a slasher to me. I love the stop motion animation and the puppets, my favourite being Pinhead. The movie also has some guts, they literally burn a kid in one scene. This isn't my favourite Puppet Master (that would be Puppet Master 4) but most of the series aren't slasher movies or slasher adjacent movies.
3:04 Nice, We have another Different Spin on the Levels, Also, I like Slasher Films alot, Im Personally Excited for the New, Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey Movie, And Im also Excited for "The Mean One" Which is a Slasher Movie of The Grinch! 49:07 I liked AHS, It was Great, Hotel was My Favourite Season, Cult, Was My Second Favourite, I also liked Apocalypse, Every Season is great, But Those where My Favourites, Hotel was the Best Season in My Opinion! 57:32 The Hive by Kevin Macloed, A Classic bit of Creepy Background Music that is in Horror Story Readings, Creepypasta Readings, Some Iceberg Videos {Like this}, It gives Me Chills, Also it Works well for the Topic of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, But from what I Heard about The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, It doesnt Show much Gruesome and Gory Chainsaw Kills, Which If True, That is slightly Disappointing, But still, The Suspence would be Terrifying!
Personally, my favorite movie has to be Ghost face (scream) because out of every slasher film, that movie is the most realistic one because that shit can really happen, it's not like Halloween when he appears and then disappears into thin air...
I’ve been enjoying these icebergs, you clearly put a lot of work into them. I do have to say though, the use of the term “wheelchair bound” put me off. Maybe using more disability friendly terms like wheelchair user or just stating the person is in a wheelchair would be more inclusive. Wheelchairs are actually a very freeing mobility tool for lots of disabled people, so using the term wheelchair bound is implying that they are trapped in the chair or generally limited by it when that’s usually not true at all. I understand we’re talking about horror movies, and that sometimes they use disabilities as a way to show someone as helpless, but I would definitely appreciate more disability friendly language moving forward. Keep up the good work. 👍🏻
4:23 It’s Dr Samuel “LOOMIS”. How do you make that mistake that early into the video and not at least catch it in editing? Or even make that mistake at all with such an iconic character.
Would love to see you cover the sequels to each like a retrospective just to hear your thoughts on them, dude. Personally, when it comes to Friday The 13th the ones I consider worth seeing from the main series are Friday The 13th (1980), Friday The 13th-Part 2 (1981), Friday The 13th-Part 3D (1983), 4-Friday The 13th-The Final Chapter (1984), Friday The 13th Part 6-Jason Lives (1986), & Friday The 13th Part 7-The New Blood (1988). Though the 2009 reboot film is decent TBF. For the Halloween series Halloween (1978), Halloween II (1981), Halloween IV-The Return Of Michael Myers (1988), Halloween H20-20 Years Later (1998), & Halloween (2018) are all awesome IMHO. The rest are either garbage or mediocre as hell as far as I am concerned. With Nightmare On Elm Street, the original A Nightmare On Elm Street (1984), A Nightmare On Elm Street 3-Dream Warriors (1987), & Wes Craven's New Nightmare are the best while the rest are not that good, I'd say. On Hellraiser, the first three films, Hellraiser (1987), Hellraiser 2-Hellbound (1989), & Hellraiser 3-Hell On Earth (1992) are the best ones as they are the only ones with Clive Barker involved. Though I heard the most recent was not bad. BTW, at 28:20 the original intended ending which can be seen as an extra is much better and should have been the one. We don't see Freddy but we know he is there. It is like the endings to Halloween (1978) and Friday The 13th (1980) in that sense. As far as The Terminator is concerned, James Cameron did say once that Halloween was kind of an inspiration to make the film so it is understandable with its slight horror elements. Also, aside from The Terminator (1984) and Terminator 2-Judgement Day (1991), Terminator-Salvation (2009) is really underrated and the best of the films afterward as it at was not a rehash of T2 like the others (Rise Of The Machines, Genisys, and Dark Fate) are. Plus, it actually focuses on The Future War making it like a prequel in a sense. This should have been T3 and it should have gotten the sequels building up to the original. Scream is a great quadrilogy, speaking strictly about parts 1-4 directed by the late great Wes Craven and written by the talented Kevin Williamson. All are really well written and even the 3rd one has grown to be more loved in recent years with how it showed a look behind the curtain into the dark side of Hollywood. The ones after 4 could not even touch the previous without Wes. Finally, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974) is one of the greatest horror exploitation films ever made. Chilling and it had gritty realism to the presentation. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 (1986) is, as I said, my favorite guilty pleasure film of all time. It is ridiculous, but the fun type. Tobe Hooper knew he could not top what he did with the original so he made a horror comedy in the vein of Evil Dead with this one. It is a blast to watch. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003) is one of the best horror remakes ever made because it had the original creators co-writing and producing as well as having the original cinematographer back. Both chilling and thrilling and really well made. The rest are either mediocre or just utter garbage. Well, those are my 2 cents on the franchises. Would love to hear yours if and when you follow up this video. On a related note fan films to many of them are growing and a good number of them are better than a lot of the lesser entries.

This isn't my favourite Puppet Master (that would be Puppet Master 4) but most of the series aren't slasher movies or slasher adjacent movies.
1 year later...where's part 2???

child’s play 2 is peak chucky imo and that’s also his best look
Personally, my favorite movie has to be Ghost face (scream) because out of every slasher film, that movie is the most realistic one because that shit can really happen, it's not like Halloween when he appears and then disappears into thin air...
Dylan never fails us to entertain us and he makes our day or night even better keep it up with the awesome work 🔥🔥
Thank you!
@@DylantheKnightOwl you're welcome 🙂
Bro calm down lol. I did catch it, but left it in because I thought it was kind of funny.
This is going to be Great
Ahh yes more Dylan ASMR
These are all well-known, but I wonder what will be shown next. I probably never seen them before.
90% of these are inspirations for the “crazy equals super powered” trope in Creepypasta killers.
