We are in the market for a house and found a perfect one, EXCEPT it comes with an existing wedding/event venue business (which is the only way to afford the property), so I"ve been seeking answers wondering if we are capable to take that on. I am thankful for giving us insight into your lives as you travel the road a few miles ahead of us. I also wish you had been able to video since the beginning, but this video is full of insights. "Learn as you go" is a freeing statement to me. Also, doctors have to get recertified is a great analogy, and so encouraging. Audit your friends something so simple, but still easy to forget that resource. You said twice you were "ranting", but that's where found so much wisdom, so keep vlogging, keep ranting! I'm curious how you decided on this business, and even how you knew what organizational systems to put into place, how to best use your space, and how do you continue to grow an event venue when there are only so many dates that you can rent out a space. Would you ever live on your venue space? It's the details that are making my head swim. THANK YOU THANK YOU for sharing. Congratulations and may you experience continued success from all your hard work! You're inspirational.
Thank you. I’ve been doing my research for a while now. I’m a registered nurse so I’ve been kinda busy with that. Now I am doing travel nursing so I can save the money to do this.

Hi there Candice , so what I meant was I market research and saw my packages were prices to low I raised them
And also increased the hours for the rental of the space

I’ve been watching you guys. We are starting our own event space in south texas. We signed our lease and got keys 2 days ago. We are in the stage of renovation. What would you say would be a good investment to spend on renovation? We are having to take down a wall to get more space and it’s more than expected and it’s making me second guess this

This is awesome! We are trying to start our event space business with our building. How long did it take you to start getting bookings? What did you do to market?
It took about a month to find my space another months to get everything together . Google ads and Facebook worked for us for marketing.
