Hi Per-Olov, I spent five minutes listening to this music, as you asked so kindly. It might have lasted longer then these five minutes. I enjoyed it very much. Thank you for sharing this!
I don't need a pandemic to make me spend five minutes of my day listening to you Per-Olov. I listen to you often pandemic or no pandemic. Thank you for your music and for inspiring me to learn some of your pieces.
A very beautiful composition played with great feel and dynamics. Loved that part with the pedal bass and moving chords, very creative. Keep well Per and good health to you so you may continue giving us your beautiful music, Vic.
This piece is absolutely beautiful, it made me cry and made me see all the beautiful things I have, my family, the memories and all the things we take for granted. This stop of the World is a time for reflection and to see the small things.
Good evening Per Olev. Your Dear Mother would have and I'm sure she Was So so, Proud of You! Bless her Memory! Music is like no other Language. It pleases So Many myself included! Play On , play on Forever. Five minutes of Pure Blissful Thoughts. Keep Safe. Yes, we Will Beat This Deadly Virus, and mankind Will Learn!! Many thanks and Kind regards Colyn. Bless the Language of Music.
Good night teacher. Here as always from Colombia. For my part I can tell you that they are the best five minutes of your music because it is a theme that perfectly serves to dedicate to all our mothers; On the other hand, I sometimes log into their channel and set the "Play All" mode when I need to focus on my studies. So these five minutes plus those of the other songs are something that relaxes me. Blessings Master.
Amazing and beautiful. with the pandemic happening I have more time to listen to music instead of constantly studying it for the semester and this upload hit me at just the right time. Thank you 😊
Good evening Per Olev. Many, thanks for your Kind message. Also, for allowing me too ask! I ,had no idea that i could find you on Wikipedia which I shall do.I have only been learning Classical Guitar for about 4 years after having Surgery which, prevented me from Carrying my Much loved Photography Gear! I have loved all music, playing the Harmonica since the 70s. However, there's so much about classical music especially on A Classical Guitar! I have several books on Playing but I really think it's time for Lessons. When we are rid of the Terrible Virus which has plagued this Lovely World we live in. My Mentor, i thankyou So, so much for allowing Myself and many others too Listen too and, take advice from Your Beautiful Playing! Stay safe as the world of Music needs Your Lovely Music. Many thanks and Kind regards Colyn.
Such a beautiful tribute to your mum, I’m 27 now getting older and I see my mum maybe once a year and I will always cherish the times I spend with her while I’m still young, make the most of it
Thanks Alex Christian. Try to see or call your mother as often as you can. One day she will be no more and you will regret if you didn't talk more often with her.
Thank you my dear! Thank you for listening to me and for taking your time to comment. It means a lot to me! I hope you are well over there. It looks bad in CA... :-( Elbow bump and online H+K to you. Peo
5 minutes ?, but it's not enough !! I'll comment a little later on Vimeo as always :) Just : I want to learn this composition but it will take me more than 5 minutes :) Elbow bump Michel
I just want to say I have been really enjoying learning this one and "Close to Me" so much! I love the slower, long pieces - I always feel like I learn so much from them, and they always take me a while to get comfortable playing. My music binder is almost completely Per Olov at this point! I basically had to move all the other composers to a different binder to make room.
Thank you Nathaniel! And thank you for your support by buying the scores from me! I appreciate it and hope you have fun with my music. I am glad you moved the other composers to another folder! 🙂Please don't forget to play them too... some day... :_) Thank you so much! Per-Olov
I love it, just like everything you play. PS: Your little fan Alexander-maybe you remember ;-)- is currently practicing your "Easy study in e-minor"- he now has a lot of time for playing the guitar without school. Hugs from Germany, stay healthy!
Your input is in the mean time of innumerable value seen he time we live in.But I already told you in the past : you contribute to world peace. Fabulos With a dieresisi on it)
Es fantástica la manera de interpretar la guitarra,. Yo compré todos sus cursos y los estoy estudiando con mucho interés. Una vez aprenda algo inicio a comprar sus partituras. Espero disfrutar la guitarra al máximo. Felicitaciones!!!
Oh man, what a gorgeous song!! I also love the background, different than what I'm used to seeing. Different part of the house? I'll comment on Vimeo...S
Thank you Scott. Marie made the 2 coffee pictures plus the drawing of me hiding there. Can you find the helicopter? That's Las Vegas after a flight over Grand Canyon. It filmed was my kitchen. It looks very different now. Take care! Per-Olov
@@Per-Olovkindgren I love it!! I really do. I think it looks great, she did a wonderful job, very talented that Marie! If you haven't noticed, I'm up pretty early here in the states (3:40am) been up forever now. Must have music on my mind I guess. Take care my friend, Scott.
Good night teacher. I read the story of your ´´Rubia´´ (The guitar) and I tell you that there are certain things that come into our lives for some reason and then go away for another. But when that something returns it is for something special and it comes to stay. So if you still have ´´La Rubia´´ with you, don't sell it again. Regards.
Hola Juan, Thank you for your comment. No, I will never sell her again! That's for sure. I also think it was 'meant to be' that I should have her again. Thank you. Per-Olov
Another poignant piece I love. You often have guitars lined up in the background and I imagine them saying to themselves that they hope you'll play them next. Do you give each one a turn at being played? - or perhaps choose the best guitar for each particular song. I imagine my books as people, each with a particular personality, I do my best at, before sending them out into the world by themselves to communicate with readers. Do you think of your guitars that way - or is it your compositions alone that you imagine as talking to so many listeners.
Well, I tend to look at my guitars (the hand made ones) as if they were women. All have a very strong 'personality' and temperament. I always chose the one that is suitable for the piece I am playing. But during the week, I always play a little on all of them. Mostly to keep then happy and in good shape and not to feel neglected. :-) Be safe my dear, Per-Olov
Good evening Per _Olev. Well, my Mentor! I've just listened too This ,eqisite piease of Music and, having followed Your particular style of playing for quite some time, i must admit that This has to be My Personal Favourite! That's not to say, your others aren't good absolutely not. However, this I find myself Coming back too! May ,i ask....Just how long You have been playing? Hope, I'm not beeping too inquisitive. Many thanks and Kind regards Colyn.
Hi Colyn, Thank you for your comment(s). I am happy you like this one. It means a lot to me. No problem asking. (You can also find information about me on Wikipedia...) I started playing when I was 7 years old but I only 'fooled around' and didn't take proper classes until I was 16 in High-school. So you do the math. :) Thank you Colyn for listening to my music. Appreciated. Per-Olov
Little curious me has a question, if you feel free to answer ofcourse ! You say she "unknowingly" gave you part of these talents ? If you are willing, what is the story behind that ? I could really understand if it's too personal, but you are quite the story teller. I'm just eager to be inspired.
Hi Thomas. There’s no story behind really… what I meant is that my mother never saw herself as ‘musical’. And she also never really saw my talent for music. Hence the word’ unknowingly… Thank you for j=listening to me. Per-Olov
@@Per-Olovkindgren oh wow, I really feel that though ! I personally believe in God. So I would say, god's gifts always finds it way. I admire your greatfulness towards your mother, something I as a (older) youngster can learn from. Beautiful beautiful beautiful 🤗
