      Nice! I have two as well, one being labeled Regent and being 100w, and one being labeled Cooper and being 80w.

    I think you could run 75w bulbs on this and be better than 50w psmh ballast with ignitor removed. Wonder why they didn't just use 75w as its the american standard instead of 80w

      Bulbman256 not sure. I’ll buy a 75w lamp and see if this’ll run it. Regent did 125w as well so maybe that’s why. 80w was sold in Canada I believe

      @@thelightingcollector2419 It was and some 80w creep over in the late 90s and 2000s as some feit lights and the lite light used them

      @@thelightingcollector2419 Makes sence as this is the age where mercury vapor started to fall out of favor and peopel where lookign for more energy efficent lights and these where to replace 100w ones

      Bulbman256 it’s not that it fell out of favor. The government meddled with things and banned the manufacture and sale of the ballasts and fixtures, making it harder to get ahold of.

    I ordered one of these and its 100w ? weird does the ballast just runbb 80w and 100w bulbs ?
