Brother Ezzy, Based upon my, extensive ( yet, still, limited ) experiences, I’ve come to realize that [ unforced / free will ] loyalty is about as rare as a Royal Flush - everywhere. The question is, why ? Based upon my study of contemporary man : he has not been brought up / reared to appreciate the [ value ] in doing what’s right - when he thinks no one is watching ( initiative ). In essence ; he only respects gaining / gathering as much as he can - for as little as it takes, ( usually, regardless of the consequences ) [ SEE : History of Heads of All Major Industries ] With legions of likeminded [ individuals ] navigating our planet ; it makes sledding rough : for those in possession of open minds and kind hearts. My motto is : “ Ya get one shot - to show me that respect & loyalty aren’t reciprocal ( in any relationship ). ” It’s as telling as it is troubling to see a good person, in [ 2023+ ], nearly have to soliloquize the notion of “ the L word. ” SMH BTW ; ‘ Beautiful conversation w / Mr. G.
