Every time I order a brand new car. I tell them two things, not to detail it and don't destroy the window sticker lol. Great video pan!+ and nice to see one million on ya channel.!! 👍🏼 🇨🇦

Prep is certainly the key. I did my new SUV in 2022 with all of the steps and used the turtle wax hybrid solutions products nearly exclusively including the spray on ceramic coating . While I realize this is not necessarily optimum, the coating has held up splendidly through now with a few hybrid solutions toppers since. I had little time to effect the original prep and coat due to weather and no garage. But the product held up well in hot eastern NC and Raleigh area till now. I will do a renew with proper coating in the next few weeks now that I have proper garage, so this video is a great resource!! Kudos to Turtle wax for a great inexpensive way for a quick start and thanks Pan for the great content! Looking forward to to the coating selection.
Awesome SUV! Really appreciate that you’re doing the cleaning & detailing in steps, with 10 min +/- videos! You’re a class act Pan and truly deserve the 1 Million UA-cam subscriber plaque! Keep up the great work!
I would like to thank you Pan.I watched one of your old episodes about cleaning tyres.I bought the Car Pro retyre and the Car Pro Darkside tyre and rubber sealant followed your instructions and the tyres now look amazing 🤩👍
Glad it was helpful! A new car is never new until it's properly detailed. - at the factory, the paint defects are often corrected quickly by rotary polishing which can leave marks and holograms, so polishing corrects those, before you lock that in long term with a ceramic coating for example. - vehicles are then transported by truck, train and boat so they are exposed to the elements, industrial fallout, brake dust, rail dust, etc - vehicles are often left at boat docks (when transported by boat) or in exterior parking lots for weeks or months, again being exposed to the elements - at the dealership, the vehicles are almost always poorly prepped using the same dirty water that was used for all the cars on a given day, and poor washing and drying methods leading to swirls and scratches - at the dealership, a layer of cheap wax or paint sealant is usually applied to attempt to make the paint glossy prior to delivery. It's crucial to remove any previous protection before you apply a ceramic coating, as coatings need to bond directly to a virgin clear coat. If you only plan on applying a regular carnauba wax or paint sealant though, you could decide to skip machine polishing, as those protectants can be applied over existing protection and it's not as crucial to prep the paint as well. Lends weekend warriors much confidence in their product choices when you are using them on your own initial decontamination. As always, thank you for a great video. Looking forward to the next video!

So happy for you man! My 958 was easily the best purchase I've ever made and I hope you will love yours too! I'm looking forward to learning even more from you! Thank you for all of your hard work and taking the time to educate us!
Congratulations for 1M Pan!! You absolutely deserve your success!! Great to see your beautiful new Cayenne being taken care off!! Can't wait to see what SiO2 you will choose to apply on this beast!!
Congratulations on your new ride! Can't wait to see products used on white paint, as I have an Explorer with white paint! Even more curious to see which ceramic coating you use! Cerakote has informed me that they have shipped out a new supply of their coating. I applied mine this March and have been happy with the results thus far....we shall see.....
Excellent choice of vehicle Pan...looks really sharp and probably will look sharper after you've completed to deep cleaning followed by the ceramic coating. Good on this side to again watch a deep clean from start to finish!! 😉
You’re killing me with the anticipation. Looking forward to what is going on for protection. Also looking forward to the polishing steps ( definitely my favourite part of detailing is cleaning up and glossing up the paint).
Hi Pan 🖐! I am living vicariously through you as I wait for my new Cayenne S to be delivered this summer. It is very interesting and educational watching your video to help me plan an attack for my new Porsche; making note of the steps you take and the products that you use. I have instructed my dealer emphatically not to wash or do any prep to the vehicle, I want to be the first one to wash it and detail it. I am anxiously waiting to see your next steps, what protection you choose for the paint and how you are going to treat that gorgeous leather. Cheers!!.. 😎
Glad to see a coating being applied to something from the white color pallet. Most love to show deep greys or black to really show the gloss. White doesn't get enough love but with the contrast always looks clean and sharp.

Hello Pan thank you for the video I love these rims on the new Porsche there are so easy to clean and my guest for your next video if you are going to use Gyeon ceramic. But I’m not sure which one or which combo you have chosen I’m looking forward to see it. I hope my guess is right, you have left a hint about it.
hello Pan, c'est une belle voiture et la décontamination parfaite , j'aime la serviette de décontamination de DIY detail car il reste toujours des particules de fer après la décontamination chimique sans contact. Hâte de voir la suite 👍😎🙋♂
Hi Pan.Many many congratulations for buying this "beautiful monster"! Why?Because I want to do so,I don't know if it's going to harmful my brand new headlights installed by warranty from dealer on my 2022 ACURA MDX ADVANCE. Because the originals was started to piling off clear coat!!!I bought it used with 17000 mi. only, and keep in garage all the time. Yeah we had to use inspection lights to see all the defects as you’ll soon see in the polishing and coating video. For sure I would never get a black car it would drive me nuts. My OCD would get triggered
Hi Pan, Congatulations on new Porsche! Watched your delivery video, it was so cool to see your excitement! Looking forward to your care tips. Enjoy your new car!
Hi Pan! I love watching your videos because you are very clear and thorough with how you explain the steps & products! I recently received delivery of my new car and this really opened my eyes!! I had a quick question. If I’m trying to get rid of a ceramic detail spray. No other waxes and the vehicle is not ceramic coated. is it safe to use carpro descale on my vehicle? Thank you!!

Descale or any stripping soap alone won’t fully remove existing protection. They only start the breaking down process. To ensure 100% removal of any paint protection, especially ceramic based ones, machine polishing is the only solution. Wow, that was a lot of iron particles on there. I expected a bit of contamination but not that much. Just shows how important it is to keep on top of your detailing game, even with a brand new vehicle! Looking forward to the next part!
Great video as always Pan. Question about the degreaser tabs: Don't you get the same effect from Carpro Descale depending on the dilution? I honestly thought that was the whole point of Descale.
Descale is meant primarily for mineral deposit and limescale removal due to its acidic level. It can start to break down older waxes and sealants, but perhaps not as much as a higher pH soap like the degrease tabs. And the Degrease Tabs are especially designed to break down polishing oils after you are done polishing. So many products can achieve different tasks.
as always fantastic video! Yeah it's crazy with new cars they not so perfect when you get them. @PanTheOrganizer, what can you recommend to remove tar from fresh asphalt? There were new roads in my area and I have quite a bit of those tar spots on the sill. I tried BH Surfex HD but no luck.
Pan your new Porsche is gorgeous! I was surprised to see the red river flowing from your wheels but your Porsche is fully decontaminated now. I live by the airport in Nashville and there is so much iron fallout in the cars I detail. Those Gyeon tablets are cool looking as not water always cleans dirty dishes better than cold water. I cannot wait to see which coating you choose to protect your gorgeous Porsche!
@@PanTheOrganizer it rained today so my customer cancelled his coating job until next weekend. I have a premium detail on a Mercedes tomorrow which will probably work me. Monday I have a five year coating on a Lexus with swirled paint. I can tell a lot of customers are watching their money more than the last four years. Otherwise home is good as my daughter is getting ready to graduate high school. She is going to stay in Nashville and attend Belmont University. I hope you guys are doing well and hopefully winter is in hibernation.
Yeah we are now in the 10-15C degrees steadily here, so hopefully we're in the clear ahha. My buddy Rick (from RAD Garage) in Calgary got some snow last week!!!
Pan, first of all, thank you for your very informative videos and product recommendations! Love them! I have used a lambs wool wash mitt for many years. Can you comment on lambs wool vs. microfiber? I know lambs wool is more expensive and requires more care, but I would like to know your thoughts.
Thanks for the positive feedback, I appreciate it! To answer your question, it's simply a question of personal taste. Use what feels best to you. I just happen to prefer microfiber wash mitts. Bummer about paint but it’s a sweet car! It got lucky to go to such a good home! Can’t wait to see everything u choose for its protection! Congrats on 1M and the new ride!
Hey Pan hope you’re doing great. I saw you’re launching your brand detail product’s. I finally was able to save for the Hydro Lite from C6. My question to you is are you having a high Ph soap for prewash and a low Ph for contact wash to prevent minerals for water spot. It will be an honor for me to use your product in my car.
Hey Pan, , after 7 years of following you since you ceramic coated your bmw 435I you are still my GO TO channel. from you we learned everything about detailing mostly our own cars. congrats on the purchase of the new porsche. the iron remover that you use. Do you know wich product this is From Koch chemie? i think this is koch chemie Rrr. but wanted to make shure we can also use this on paint. Keep it up! greetings from belgium!! :D
Hey Pan, I recently got my wheels and chrome look window trim plasti dipped black on my ceramic coated vehicle. I was wondering how long I should wait before pressure wash/foam wash on the vehicle. Love your channel
Great video as always! got into detailing because of you. Just had a quick question wondering if you can help, when drying my car sometimes it leaves a weird brown haze/streak and i can't figure out why, has this ever happened to you and if so do you know what I can do to prevent it. This has happened to both my new and old car that are black in colour.

I’ve only just discovered your channel and have been watching your ceramic coating durability test. Great videos. I’d be interested to see you test a product called corrosionx rejex, along with seafoam exterior finish. Both of those companies make some really good products and there doesn’t seem to be much info about these ones so it might be a good video.

Even though I asked to not have anything done to my new Lexus. They autopilot their services on all the vehicles. My car was tinted and had a sealant applied even after I instructed them to not do anything to the vehicle. Those services added over 1k to the price. I negotiated $3250 off MSRP so those services allowed them to claw back 1k to the final price. Also, the tint they used was not ceramic. If anyone is getting a new vehicle I caution them on these type of dealer services 🙃 Luckily I did not have any of what you are describing as I would have been upset had I had any swirls on the piano finishes of my vehicle. I’m still deciding on the ceramic coating for it so I’m looking forward to your videos. I’m in no hurry as whatever sealant was applied is lasting. My car is that metallic grey that is hard to make pop. Can’t wait to see the finish on yours once it is done.
Your experience reminds me of a delivery i took of a Forester XT years ago. The dealership was right across the interstate(downwind) from a sand/gravel pit. I'll spare everyone the details but the car was scratched and swirled horribly, to make it worse it was a black car. I ended up making it pretty again but there was one scratch that I could not get out. That dealership was only in that location for about five years before they rebuilt a new facility not next to a gravel pit. 😆 Can't wait to see which coating you choose! Congrats on the new car and 1million subs!
To be fair though, I told them not to detail it. Just to wash it for my inspection on delivery. I can take care of my own detailing. :) And 99% of the new cars I detail are like this or even worse. That's why I tell my viewers to always tell your dealerships to not detail your car and say no to all the options they offer like "paint sealant", "leather protection package", etc. They add crap products for high profits and don't give you your money's worth. Detail the vehicle yourself or bring it to a reputable professional detailer near you.
I’d like to see you try superior products I really like their cherry wash, I just ordered white wall 1000 for tires and dark fury for wheels works really well and can have oreillys auto parts order it and it’s cheap.
Contamination of iron wasn’t as bad as in others I’ve seen u do and Iam surprised you didn’t blow it dry instead of with a drying towel that marks up the car more !
Blow drying a car with zero protection is counterproductive as it’s not efficient. And towel drying once won’t cause damage lol. Plus we’re machine polishing anyways in the next video so that point is moot. Have faith in my skills. 👍🏻
As the previous Porsche, this one is lucky aswell - getting the *Pan Spa Treatment* 😀 Congratulations to the new familymember - looking forward to the next level
Thnx for the video I have two white new cars and I’m going to follow your instructions. Let’s us know which paint correction you going to do and also the ceramic you going to use
My new 2024 Honda Civic came with light swirls all over it. I paid someone to ceramic coat it, and they didn't remove any of the swirls, even though they said they did "paint correction". I would love to see what your swirls look like before, and after you remove them.

@@PanTheOrganizer Thank you. The Volvo XC60 video showed me exactly what I wanted to see. My car pretty much looks like the before pictures, even after the detailer I went to did their paint correction. Maybe someday I'll learn enough from your videos to fix the swirls on my car.
Great video! Are there any other iron removers which I can use as clay lubricant? I love DIY Detail products but in my country I can’t find this specific iron remover.
You would have to research which iron removers don't contain solvents if you want to use them as a clay lubricant with a synthetic perforated decontamination towel. I don't know all of them by heart unfortunately.
It has crossed my mind that something like this would be happening on your channel 😀. . Great video Looking forward to paint correction and polish. Have a great weekend!
@@PanTheOrganizer Avec plasir! Quick question, I take delivery on the GL63 AMG this Friday. I am planning to do a paint correction in it. It has stainless steel running boards. Is there anyway to remove scuffs or marks that are embedded in the metal? Upon detailing the QX80 today, I came across a few scuffs and scratches on the exterior rear tailgate. Using my DA and a red sonax cutting pad, I was able to remove the majority of the marks however deeper ones were still evident. would be nice to hear your opinion on optimizing a uniform finish on stainless / brushed metal exterior pieces. Hope you had a great weekend 👍
Applying the same ceramic coating as on your paint. What ever you apply on your paint to protect it can also be applied on the headlights, as they are clear coated just like your paint.
Congrats on the new car and one millon subscriber!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it's been a long time since your 50k subscriber when we dicussed the possibility of french version of your video...🥰
@@PanTheOrganizer Welcome ! Enjoy the new ride! I need to look for some wheels for my Mazda CX50. Gonna stick with 20 ‘s as I purchased new tires for her after 3K on the crappy OEM tires. I don’t want a two wheel setup like I had on my CX30. Just gotta find something I love.
I like the looks of the new CX-50! Congrats. What color is yours? My brother has a CX-5 which I also like, but when the CX-50 came out, it was a better looking vehicle with that glass roof too!

Picking up my new BMW in about a week. Very helpful!
Glad it was helpful! A new car is never new until it's properly detailed.
- at the factory, the paint defects are often corrected quickly by rotary polishing which can leave marks and holograms, so polishing corrects those, before you lock that in long term with a ceramic coating for example.
- vehicles are then transported by truck, train and boat so they are exposed to the elements, industrial fallout, brake dust, rail dust, etc
- vehicles are often left at boat docks (when transported by boat) or in exterior parking lots for weeks or months, again being exposed to the elements
- at the dealership, the vehicles are almost always poorly prepped using the same dirty water that was used for all the cars on a given day, and poor washing and drying methods leading to swirls and scratches
- at the dealership, a layer of cheap wax or paint sealant is usually applied to attempt to make the paint glossy prior to delivery.

Cheers!!.. 😎
I’ve been waiting for this. Also looking forward to the Active 2.3 review.
Glad to see a coating being applied to something from the white color pallet. Most love to show deep greys or black to really show the gloss. White doesn't get enough love but with the contrast always looks clean and sharp.

Congrats on your new car! Descale or any stripping soap alone won’t fully remove existing protection. They only start the breaking down process.
To ensure 100% removal of any paint protection, especially ceramic based ones, machine polishing is the only solution.

Exactly, you got it! More videos to come.

Especially these two:

Hey Pan hope you’re doing great. I saw you’re launching your brand detail product’s. I finally was able to save for the Hydro Lite from C6. My question to you is are you having a high Ph soap for prewash and a low Ph for contact wash to prevent minerals for water spot. It will be an honor for me to use your product in my car.
@pantheorganizer
Can you do a video on or touch on the subject of flooring. If your shop is dusty what options do you have to get rid of that
Beautiful car Pan.
I was wondering if you have ever tested the brand Titan as a coating. If not, could you try it?
I have never heard of them. If I get enough viewer requests, I might look into it.
Great information. Love that Chalk color.
Thanks Scott!
Pan: Thanks for the latest update on your new Porsche!
Thanks Tom!
Love the color Pan..My guess is that you went with C6 ceramics ..will find if my guess is right in the next vid 😃
Thanks! There are so many top tier coatings to pick from. Videos to follow. Stay tuned!
Thanks! Yes you can use the Koch Chemie Reactive Rust Remover (Rrr) on paint.
Best of luck with your new car Pan! I was wondering, are those water proof shoes you wear while you wash cars?
Thanks! Yes they are waterproof Nike Pegasus Shield shoes (or something like that).
Hey Pan, I recently got my wheels and chrome look window trim plasti dipped black on my ceramic coated vehicle.
I was wondering how long I should wait before pressure wash/foam wash on the vehicle.
Love your channel
I haven't detailed vehicles with plasti dip so I have no recommendations unfortunately. Perhaps ask the installers for guidance?
Great video as always! got into detailing because of you. Just had a quick question wondering if you can help, when drying my car sometimes it leaves a weird brown haze/streak and i can't figure out why, has this ever happened to you and if so do you know what I can do to prevent it. This has happened to both my new and old car that are black in colour.
Welcome to my channel. You discovered one of the biggest car detailing channels on UA-cam as we surpassed 1 million subscribers and we have over 135 million views! I have been detailing for 27 years and I love to share my knowledge and passion with my viewers.
You found the right channel to help you learn everything about detailing.
To answer your question, it’s hard to say as I don’t know what steps you do and what tools and products you use…

If anyone is getting a new vehicle I caution them on these type of dealer services 🙃
Luckily I did not have any of what you are describing as I would have been upset had I had any swirls on the piano finishes of my vehicle.
I’m still deciding on the ceramic coating for it so I’m looking forward to your videos. I’m in no hurry as whatever sealant was applied is lasting. My car is that metallic grey that is hard to make pop. Can’t wait to see the finish on yours once it is done.
Great video as always! 🙌
Glad you enjoyed!
And 99% of the new cars I detail are like this or even worse.
This is what I’ve been waiting for! Can’t wait to dig in and check this out!
Let's go!
As the previous Porsche, this one is lucky aswell - getting the *Pan Spa Treatment* 😀
Congratulations to the new familymember - looking forward to the next level
Let's goooo! :)
Cool to see the new Gyeon products being used 😁 waiting til Esoteric Detail gets a shipment to pick some up
Thanks for watching!
Congratulations pan for your new car
Thank you so much 😀
@@PanTheOrganizer is it possible can I get your what's up or messenger number??
Thnx for the video I have two white new cars and I’m going to follow your instructions. Let’s us know which paint correction you going to do and also the ceramic you going to use
You will see videos coming soon on the entire polishing and protection process. ;)
My new 2024 Honda Civic came with light swirls all over it. I paid someone to ceramic coat it, and they didn't remove any of the swirls, even though they said they did "paint correction". I would love to see what your swirls look like before, and after you remove them.
You can see what scratches and swirls look like before and after paint correction in many of my full car detailing videos, including these:

Congratulations on the new vehicle, great choice
Thanks!
It has crossed my mind that something like this would be happening on your channel 😀. . Great video Looking forward to paint correction and polish. Have a great weekend!
Awesome! Thank you!
Bonjour Pan félicitations pour ta nouvelle voiture et encore 1 fois pour t'es 1 millions d'abonnés merci pour les vidéos🎉
Merci!
And then it begins! Good luck my friend looking forward for more to come!
More to come!
Pan, what do you recommend to protect headlights from uv/oxidation damage before it gets bad?
Applying the same ceramic coating as on your paint. What ever you apply on your paint to protect it can also be applied on the headlights, as they are clear coated just like your paint.
Congrats on the new car and one millon subscriber!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it's been a long time since your 50k subscriber when we dicussed the possibility of french version of your video...🥰
Thanks!
Beautiful car! Those wheels are 🔥 I absolutely love a classic 5 spoke.
You and me both! Thanks Lisa!
