It’s interesting your car arrived with swirls, and scratches even before you took ownership. That’s a lesson for purchasers to check the paint closely as there’s no guarantee the dealer, or manufacturer took care of the vehicle appropriately.
To be fair though, I told them not to detail it. Just to wash it for my inspection on delivery. I can take care of my own detailing. :) And 99% of the new cars I detail are like this or even worse. That's why I tell my viewers to always tell your dealerships to not detail your car and say no to all the options they offer like "paint sealant", "leather protection package", etc. They add crap products for high profits and don't give you your money's worth. Detail the vehicle yourself or bring it to a reputable professional detailer near you.
@@PanTheOrganizer I agree. I just got my car from a service repair shop, and they marked defects with a removable marker. They offered to hand wash the vehicle, but I heavily declined. I didn’t even allow an interior detail as I don’t know if they’ll use abrasives that will scratch the paint, or plastics. If I’m going to ruin something on my car I’d like to at least let it be by me.
You’re killing me with the anticipation. Looking forward to what is going on for protection. Also looking forward to the polishing steps ( definitely my favourite part of detailing is cleaning up and glossing up the paint).
Yasou Pan, 1. Congratulations on your brand new Porsche! 2. Congratulations on your New Milestone - reaching One Million Subscribers 😀! Thank you for all of you car detailing videos and expertise! Xristos Anésti to you and your family! NIKOS
I would like to thank you Pan.I watched one of your old episodes about cleaning tyres.I bought the Car Pro retyre and the Car Pro Darkside tyre and rubber sealant followed your instructions and the tyres now look amazing 🤩👍
Excellent choice of vehicle Pan...looks really sharp and probably will look sharper after you've completed to deep cleaning followed by the ceramic coating. Good on this side to again watch a deep clean from start to finish!! 😉
Bummer about paint but it’s a sweet car! It got lucky to go to such a good home! Can’t wait to see everything u choose for its protection! Congrats on 1M and the new ride!
Pan your new Porsche is gorgeous! I was surprised to see the red river flowing from your wheels but your Porsche is fully decontaminated now. I live by the airport in Nashville and there is so much iron fallout in the cars I detail. Those Gyeon tablets are cool looking as not water always cleans dirty dishes better than cold water. I cannot wait to see which coating you choose to protect your gorgeous Porsche!
@@PanTheOrganizer it rained today so my customer cancelled his coating job until next weekend. I have a premium detail on a Mercedes tomorrow which will probably work me. Monday I have a five year coating on a Lexus with swirled paint. I can tell a lot of customers are watching their money more than the last four years. Otherwise home is good as my daughter is getting ready to graduate high school. She is going to stay in Nashville and attend Belmont University. I hope you guys are doing well and hopefully winter is in hibernation.
Yeah we are now in the 10-15C degrees steadily here, so hopefully we're in the clear ahha. My buddy Rick (from RAD Garage) in Calgary got some snow last week!!!
Congratulations for 1M Pan!! You absolutely deserve your success!! Great to see your beautiful new Cayenne being taken care off!! Can't wait to see what SiO2 you will choose to apply on this beast!!
Hi Pan, Congatulations on new Porsche! Watched your delivery video, it was so cool to see your excitement! Looking forward to your care tips. Enjoy your new car!

Cerakote has informed me that they have shipped out a new supply of their coating. I applied mine this March and have been happy with the results thus far....we shall see.....
Send them(Porsche) the bill for the paint correction ;) Pan, you hit 1M subs - incredible! Pas pire pour un p'tit gars du Québec. Proud of you! Enjoy the weekend & the Wheels.

Hi Pan 🖐! I am living vicariously through you as I wait for my new Cayenne S to be delivered this summer. It is very interesting and educational watching your video to help me plan an attack for my new Porsche; making note of the steps you take and the products that you use. I have instructed my dealer emphatically not to wash or do any prep to the vehicle, I want to be the first one to wash it and detail it. I am anxiously waiting to see your next steps, what protection you choose for the paint and how you are going to treat that gorgeous leather. Cheers!!.. 😎

Wow, that was a lot of iron particles on there. I expected a bit of contamination but not that much. Just shows how important it is to keep on top of your detailing game, even with a brand new vehicle! Looking forward to the next part!
Took delivery of a brand new F150 in 2022, and yes, the dealership ignored my request to not wash/apply any products to it. Fortunately it wasn't swirled to bits, but it did need a thorough wash/decon process...which was the rest of my day after picking it up on a Saturday morning.
It has crossed my mind that something like this would be happening on your channel 😀. . Great video Looking forward to paint correction and polish. Have a great weekend!
@@PanTheOrganizer Avec plasir! Quick question, I take delivery on the GL63 AMG this Friday. I am planning to do a paint correction in it. It has stainless steel running boards. Is there anyway to remove scuffs or marks that are embedded in the metal? Upon detailing the QX80 today, I came across a few scuffs and scratches on the exterior rear tailgate. Using my DA and a red sonax cutting pad, I was able to remove the majority of the marks however deeper ones were still evident. would be nice to hear your opinion on optimizing a uniform finish on stainless / brushed metal exterior pieces. Hope you had a great weekend 👍
Congrats on the 1m subscribers pan. Keep growing. Seen your videos since the black bmw you had. Look how far you've came. Looking forward to tne next video
Thanks Joshua! But I never had a black BMW. I would never buy a black car haha. It was a Bluestone metallic BMW M550i that I had before my 911 Turbo S. ;)

Great video as always! got into detailing because of you. Just had a quick question wondering if you can help, when drying my car sometimes it leaves a weird brown haze/streak and i can't figure out why, has this ever happened to you and if so do you know what I can do to prevent it. This has happened to both my new and old car that are black in colour.

Beautiful ride pan. Now you need to invest in a platform ladder for washing the top. Take it from a guy that went from a small car to suv it’s a must have. Lol
Even though I asked to not have anything done to my new Lexus. They autopilot their services on all the vehicles. My car was tinted and had a sealant applied even after I instructed them to not do anything to the vehicle. Those services added over 1k to the price. I negotiated $3250 off MSRP so those services allowed them to claw back 1k to the final price. Also, the tint they used was not ceramic. If anyone is getting a new vehicle I caution them on these type of dealer services 🙃 Luckily I did not have any of what you are describing as I would have been upset had I had any swirls on the piano finishes of my vehicle. I’m still deciding on the ceramic coating for it so I’m looking forward to your videos. I’m in no hurry as whatever sealant was applied is lasting. My car is that metallic grey that is hard to make pop. Can’t wait to see the finish on yours once it is done.
Ok, im sending you this with love from Denver Colorado. You have set a high standard love the award show the most ,and all of your videos have valuable content. Thank you. A four door Porsche is not cool , you lost me with the four door!
Hey Doug. Just be happy for me. To each their own. All Porsche vehicles are awesome in my opinion. I certainly would never laugh or belittle someone driving a Porsche. I love my Cayenne S Coupe. 👍🏻
Yeah we had to use inspection lights to see all the defects as you’ll soon see in the polishing and coating video. For sure I would never get a black car it would drive me nuts. My OCD would get triggered
Hello Pan thank you for the video I love these rims on the new Porsche there are so easy to clean and my guest for your next video if you are going to use Gyeon ceramic. But I’m not sure which one or which combo you have chosen I’m looking forward to see it. I hope my guess is right, you have left a hint about it.
Regardless of which vehicle people get, I'm always happy for my viewers! What matters most is how happy your new car makes you, and you'll enjoy taking care of it. And Rav4 has the legendary Toyota reliability and resale value. A homerun!
Your experience reminds me of a delivery i took of a Forester XT years ago. The dealership was right across the interstate(downwind) from a sand/gravel pit. I'll spare everyone the details but the car was scratched and swirled horribly, to make it worse it was a black car. I ended up making it pretty again but there was one scratch that I could not get out. That dealership was only in that location for about five years before they rebuilt a new facility not next to a gravel pit. 😆 Can't wait to see which coating you choose! Congrats on the new car and 1million subs!
To be fair though, I told them not to detail it. Just to wash it for my inspection on delivery. I can take care of my own detailing. :) And 99% of the new cars I detail are like this or even worse. Contamination of iron wasn’t as bad as in others I’ve seen u do and Iam surprised you didn’t blow it dry instead of with a drying towel that marks up the car more !
Blow drying a car with zero protection is counterproductive as it’s not efficient. And towel drying once won’t cause damage lol. Plus we’re machine polishing anyways in the next video so that point is moot. Have faith in my skills. 👍🏻

Hey Pan! GREAT video as always! It’s always satisfying washing a new vehicle and coating it. Congratulations on your 1M subscribers! 😃
Thanks! Polishing and coating videos coming soon.
FINALLY! Excited to see you further work on your new car. Nice vid Pan
Thanks Anton!
You’re killing me with the anticipation. Looking forward to what is going on for protection. Also looking forward to the polishing steps ( definitely my favourite part of detailing is cleaning up and glossing up the paint).
Coming soon! ;)
Cerakote just released their new v2 ceramic coating, and got mine in today, I’m excited to try it out.
I think you’re going to use that one for sure 👍
There are many good top tier coatings to pick from. You’ll soon find out what I picked.
Yasou Pan,
1. Congratulations on your brand new Porsche!
2. Congratulations on your New Milestone - reaching One Million Subscribers 😀! Thank you for all of you car detailing videos and expertise!

PAN PAN, HE'S OUR MAN, HE CANT DETAIL IT , NO ONE CAN!
Hahaahah I love it!!
This is what I’ve been waiting for! Can’t wait to dig in and check this out!
Let's go!
I hope eventually you post the full-process video... I enjoy watching your longer tutorials!
Yes many videos coming soon.
I would like to thank you Pan.I watched one of your old episodes about cleaning tyres.I bought the Car Pro retyre and the Car Pro Darkside tyre and rubber sealant followed your instructions and the tyres now look amazing 🤩👍
💪🏻👍🏻
Congrats on 1m subscribers brother!
Thank you so much 😀
Excellent choice of vehicle Pan...looks really sharp and probably will look sharper after you've completed to deep cleaning followed by the ceramic coating. Good on this side to again watch a deep clean from start to finish!! 😉
Yes it will look even better after the polishing and ceramic coating steps. Stay tuned! ;)
Bummer about paint but it’s a sweet car! It got lucky to go to such a good home! Can’t wait to see everything u choose for its protection! Congrats on 1M and the new ride!
Thank you!! Let’s gooooo! 💪🏻👍🏻
Thank you very much! I hope you are having a great weekend Neil!
And then it begins! Good luck my friend looking forward for more to come!
More to come!
Bonjour Pan félicitations pour ta nouvelle voiture et encore 1 fois pour t'es 1 millions d'abonnés merci pour les vidéos🎉

Thank you! Will do!
Cool to see the new Gyeon products being used 😁 waiting til Esoteric Detail gets a shipment to pick some up
Thanks for watching!
Those wheels are badass Pan!! I went with 5 spoke wheels too because of the ease of cleaning
Thanks!
Congratulations on the new vehicle, great choice
Thanks!
Great video Pan, can't wait to see what coating you put on the Porsche
Coming soon!
Great video as usual. Looking forward for the next video.

Awesome video and product review/tutorial good friend

As the previous Porsche, this one is lucky aswell - getting the *Pan Spa Treatment* 😀
Congratulations to the new familymember - looking forward to the next level

Cool video! Love your passion for auto detailing. When I wash my car, I try to follow your examples for getting it clean. Thanks for posting!
Thanks 👍
Congrats on the new car and one millon subscriber!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it's been a long time since your 50k subscriber when we dicussed the possibility of french version of your video...🥰
Thanks!
Congratulations on your new ride! Can't wait to see products used on white paint, as I have an Explorer with white paint! Even more curious to see which ceramic coating you use!

Cheers!!.. 😎
Man that's crazy how much iron was on those wheels. Great advice on the new car setup.

Wow, that was a lot of iron particles on there. I expected a bit of contamination but not that much. Just shows how important it is to keep on top of your detailing game, even with a brand new vehicle! Looking forward to the next part!
Exactly, you got it! More videos to come.
We love you Pan!!!
Hehe thanks Tommy!
Looking forward to seeing the next episode 👍✌️☮️
👍🏻💪🏻
Took delivery of a brand new F150 in 2022, and yes, the dealership ignored my request to not wash/apply any products to it. Fortunately it wasn't swirled to bits, but it did need a thorough wash/decon process...which was the rest of my day after picking it up on a Saturday morning.
Excited and intrigued to find out which coating you use 😁 if it's your personal vehicle it HAS to be a banger 🙌🏼🔥
Coming soon!
Looks even nicer in your garage vs how it looked in your reveal video. Maybe it’s because it’s properly cleaned. Beautiful suv
Thanks! Wait until you see it polished and coated. OMG
Great information. Love that Chalk color.
Thanks Scott!
Clean! Looking forward to the next video! Will be using the same products and process for my recently purchased Porsche Macan.
Thanks!
Omg I was so hyped for the first wash! Pan please make a Video about the Detailong (Polish etc.)
Of course you will see many videos to come on the entire process. Stay tuned!
It has crossed my mind that something like this would be happening on your channel 😀. . Great video Looking forward to paint correction and polish. Have a great weekend!
Awesome! Thank you!
Hope you had a great weekend 👍
congrats 🎊 one million
Thanks!
Congrats on the 1m subscribers pan. Keep growing. Seen your videos since the black bmw you had. Look how far you've came. Looking forward to tne next video
Thanks Joshua! But I never had a black BMW. I would never buy a black car haha. It was a Bluestone metallic BMW M550i that I had before my 911 Turbo S. ;)
@PanTheOrganizer oh I thought the BMW M3 was your car lol when you were doing the full detail on it 7 years ago lol that video is what helped me learn how to detail a car start my business a d subscribe to your channel 🙂
Picking up my new BMW in about a week. Very helpful!
Glad it was helpful! A new car is never new until it's properly detailed.
- at the factory, the paint defects are often corrected quickly by rotary polishing which can leave marks and holograms, so polishing corrects those, before you lock that in long term with a ceramic coating for example.
- vehicles are then transported by truck, train and boat so they are exposed to the elements, industrial fallout, brake dust, rail dust, etc
- vehicles are often left at boat docks (when transported by boat) or in exterior parking lots for weeks or months, again being exposed to the elements
- at the dealership, the vehicles are almost always poorly prepped using the same dirty water that was used for all the cars on a given day, and poor washing and drying methods leading to swirls and scratches
- at the dealership, a layer of cheap wax or paint sealant is usually applied to attempt to make the paint glossy prior to delivery. It's crucial to remove any previous protection before you apply a ceramic coating, as coatings need to bond directly to a virgin clear coat.
If you only plan on applying a regular carnauba wax or paint sealant though, you could decide to skip machine polishing, as those protectants can be applied over existing protection and it's not as crucial to prep the paint as well.
I explain all of this in this popular video: ua-cam.com/video/QgoyrC-5CMc/v-deo.html
So you can better visualize the new car prep process, here are the steps I perform on a brand new car for my customers:
RS6 Avant Performance: ua-cam.com/video/L5SQ0ZIJCj0/v-deo.htmlsi=mcQiMs9HBLlaqjGK

You got it Daniel!
Thank you Pan. Very informative as usual.❤
Thanks Mike!
Pan i just did a one step polish with sonax cut and finish, and protected it with gyeon pure, amazing results mostly because of your videos and watching you detail and learning from that, Thanks!
Thanks man!
La préparation est la clé🚀
Tout à fait!

To answer your question, it’s hard to say as I don’t know what steps you do and what tools and products you use…
Beautiful ride pan. Now you need to invest in a platform ladder for washing the top. Take it from a guy that went from a small car to suv it’s a must have. Lol
I already have a platform ladder. ;) I even made a video about equipment for washing tall vehicles. ;)
@@PanTheOrganizer well well I must have missed that one. I’ll go back and check it out. Once again beautiful suv.
If anyone is getting a new vehicle I caution them on these type of dealer services 🙃
Luckily I did not have any of what you are describing as I would have been upset had I had any swirls on the piano finishes of my vehicle.
I’m still deciding on the ceramic coating for it so I’m looking forward to your videos. I’m in no hurry as whatever sealant was applied is lasting. My car is that metallic grey that is hard to make pop. Can’t wait to see the finish on yours once it is done.
What is the best way to polish/protect a pickup truck camper shell?
Dope color man love the car
I am not the biggest fan of the colour tbh, but each to their own. In my opinion, it looks colourless. Like paint primer only.
@@jack11224 it’s like a flat tan color that coupled with the wheels 🧑🍳😘🤌🏽
Thanks man! Wait until you see it fully polished and coated! Chef's kiss as one would say! :)
Hi Pan - thanks for the video. Quick question - what are you using in the wash bucket for the wheel decon wash? Really appreciate your videos!!
Usually some CarPro Reset.
As always nice job! Chalk seems to hide some of the imperfections pretty well. Better than my black for sure
Yeah we had to use inspection lights to see all the defects as you’ll soon see in the polishing and coating video.
For sure I would never get a black car it would drive me nuts. My OCD would get triggered
Can’t wait for the coating! Great video. When can we expect the coating video to come out?!
Very soon! Stay tuned.
Congrats again to that beautiful car.
Thanks!
Thanks! There are many top tier coatings to pick from. You’ll soon find out
Thanks for reading my mind, I got a new car in Late March and planning on doing this coming summer when I finally take some time off work.
You can do it! Congrats on your new ride. What did you buy?
@@PanTheOrganizer Nothing crazy, just a Rav 4 Hybrid 😅
And 99% of the new cars I detail are like this or even worse.
Congrats for your wonderful car, I love it. I am not a fan of 5-spoke wheels, but yes, very easy to clean indeed. 😊
Thanks! I love it!
So informative!!!

Super conteant pour tes 1M subs Pan 👏👏
Merci!
When doing tires,’ is Gyeon Wet Coat the same as Carpro Darkside… or should you use wet coat and then darkside? Thanks.
WetCoat is not a tire dressing. Gyeon has their Tire or Tire Express dressings for that.
Your new car looks awesome, i hope you'll beable to get all the scratches out that happened during transport. I love love that chaulk color!!!!
