Every time I order a brand new car. I tell them two things, not to detail it and don't destroy the window sticker lol. Great video pan!+ and nice to see one million on ya channel.!! 👍🏼 🇨🇦
Prep is certainly the key. I did my new SUV in 2022 with all of the steps and used the turtle wax hybrid solutions products nearly exclusively including the spray on ceramic coating . While I realize this is not necessarily optimum, the coating has held up splendidly through now with a few hybrid solutions toppers since. I had little time to effect the original prep and coat due to weather and no garage. But the product held up well in hot eastern NC and Raleigh area till now. I will do a renew with proper coating in the next few weeks now that I have proper garage, so this video is a great resource!! Kudos to Turtle wax for a great inexpensive way for a quick start and thanks Pan for the great content! Looking forward to to the coating selection.
I've always been a huge fan of your in-depth videos. Your garage is simply fantastic. I'm really interested in creating something similar inside my own garage, complete with its own drainage system.

Took delivery of a brand new F150 in 2022, and yes, the dealership ignored my request to not wash/apply any products to it. Fortunately it wasn't swirled to bits, but it did need a thorough wash/decon process...which was the rest of my day after picking it up on a Saturday morning.
Glad to see a coating being applied to something from the white color pallet. Most love to show deep greys or black to really show the gloss. White doesn't get enough love but with the contrast always looks clean and sharp.

Gotta love the knowledge and shared information. I never knew about all what needed to be removed from a brand new car. Keep up the informative vids Pan, love it!

A new car is never new until it's properly detailed. - at the factory, the paint defects are often corrected quickly by rotary polishing which can leave marks and holograms, so polishing corrects those, before you lock that in long term with a ceramic coating for example. - vehicles are then transported by truck, train and boat so they are exposed to the elements, industrial fallout, brake dust, rail dust, etc - vehicles are often left at boat docks (when transported by boat) or in exterior parking lots for weeks or months, again being exposed to the elements - at the dealership, the vehicles are almost always poorly prepped using the same dirty water that was used for all the cars on a given day, and poor washing and drying methods leading to swirls and scratches - at the dealership, a layer of cheap wax or paint sealant is usually applied to attempt to make the paint glossy prior to delivery. hello Pan, c'est une belle voiture et la décontamination parfaite , j'aime la serviette de décontamination de DIY detail car il reste toujours des particules de fer après la décontamination chimique sans contact. Hâte de voir la suite 👍😎🙋♂
Congratulations for 1M Pan!! You absolutely deserve your success!! Great to see your beautiful new Cayenne being taken care off!! Can't wait to see what SiO2 you will choose to apply on this beast!!
You’re killing me with the anticipation. Looking forward to what is going on for protection. Also looking forward to the polishing steps ( definitely my favourite part of detailing is cleaning up and glossing up the paint).
Congratulations on your new ride! Can't wait to see products used on white paint, as I have an Explorer with white paint! Even more curious to see which ceramic coating you use! Cerakote has informed me that they have shipped out a new supply of their coating. I applied mine this March and have been happy with the results thus far....we shall see.....
I would like to thank you Pan.I watched one of your old episodes about cleaning tyres.I bought the Car Pro retyre and the Car Pro Darkside tyre and rubber sealant followed your instructions and the tyres now look amazing 🤩👍
I did this a few days ago on my new gli the swirls where terrible the driver side had so many but the passenger was fine. I think they used sand on the bad side but now it looks great did a ceramic wax since new to ceramic detailing and getting my feet wet

It’s interesting your car arrived with swirls, and scratches even before you took ownership. That’s a lesson for purchasers to check the paint closely as there’s no guarantee the dealer, or manufacturer took care of the vehicle appropriately.
To be fair though, I told them not to detail it. Just to wash it for my inspection on delivery. I can take care of my own detailing. :) And 99% of the new cars I detail are like this or even worse. That's why I tell my viewers to always tell your dealerships to not detail your car and say no to all the options they offer like "paint sealant", "leather protection package", etc. They add crap products for high profits and don't give you your money's worth. Detail the vehicle yourself or bring it to a reputable professional detailer near you.
@@PanTheOrganizer I agree. I just got my car from a service repair shop, and they marked defects with a removable marker. They offered to hand wash the vehicle, but I heavily declined. I didn’t even allow an interior detail as I don’t know if they’ll use abrasives that will scratch the paint, or plastics. If I’m going to ruin something on my car I’d like to at least let it be by me.
Yasou Pan, 1. Congratulations on your brand new Porsche! 2. Congratulations on your New Milestone - reaching One Million Subscribers 😀! Thank you for all of you car detailing videos and expertise! Xristos Anésti to you and your family! NIKOS
Excellent choice of vehicle Pan...looks really sharp and probably will look sharper after you've completed to deep cleaning followed by the ceramic coating. Good on this side to again watch a deep clean from start to finish!! 😉

Pan your new Porsche is gorgeous! I was surprised to see the red river flowing from your wheels but your Porsche is fully decontaminated now. I live by the airport in Nashville and there is so much iron fallout in the cars I detail. Those Gyeon tablets are cool looking as not water always cleans dirty dishes better than cold water. I cannot wait to see which coating you choose to protect your gorgeous Porsche!
@@PanTheOrganizer it rained today so my customer cancelled his coating job until next weekend. I have a premium detail on a Mercedes tomorrow which will probably work me. Monday I have a five year coating on a Lexus with swirled paint. I can tell a lot of customers are watching their money more than the last four years. Otherwise home is good as my daughter is getting ready to graduate high school. She is going to stay in Nashville and attend Belmont University. I hope you guys are doing well and hopefully winter is in hibernation.
Yeah we are now in the 10-15C degrees steadily here, so hopefully we're in the clear ahha. My buddy Rick (from RAD Garage) in Calgary got some snow last week!!!
Hi Pan 🖐! I am living vicariously through you as I wait for my new Cayenne S to be delivered this summer. It is very interesting and educational watching your video to help me plan an attack for my new Porsche; making note of the steps you take and the products that you use. I have instructed my dealer emphatically not to wash or do any prep to the vehicle, I want to be the first one to wash it and detail it. I am anxiously waiting to see your next steps, what protection you choose for the paint and how you are going to treat that gorgeous leather. Cheers!!.. 😎
Do you have any tips for washing a car in a home garage that wasn't purpose built to washing and detailing? I'm assuming that I need to consider drainage options and a solution for protecting the walls and electrical outlets when washing in my garage. Any tips or tricks or a dedicated video would be great! Thanks
Hi Pan, Congatulations on new Porsche! Watched your delivery video, it was so cool to see your excitement! Looking forward to your care tips. Enjoy your new car!
Awesome video, and yes, I have always detailed my brand new cars to make them real new :) This video is a concentrate of super useful info, thanks a ton for this!!! Looking forward to the next steps! How do you like the Cayenne, enjoying it? Any first impressions?

Great video! Are there any other iron removers which I can use as clay lubricant? I love DIY Detail products but in my country I can’t find this specific iron remover.
You would have to research which iron removers don't contain solvents if you want to use them as a clay lubricant with a synthetic perforated decontamination towel. I don't know all of them by heart unfortunately.
think i need to do this to my car. Its never been properly detailed and im seeing some rough spots form on the hood that im afraid will turn into paint/clearcoat cancer.
I did clay. With the synthetic perforated décontamination towel. But if you want separate steps, iron remover first, then clay, then machine polishing.
Merci
Send them(Porsche) the bill for the paint correction ;) Pan, you hit 1M subs - incredible! Proud of you! Enjoy the weekend & the Wheels.

Hey Pan hope you’re doing great. I saw you’re launching your brand detail product’s. I finally was able to save for the Hydro Lite from C6. My question to you is are you having a high Ph soap for prewash and a low Ph for contact wash to prevent minerals for water spot. It will be an honor for me to use your product in my car.
Applying the same ceramic coating as on your paint. What ever you apply on your paint to protect it can also be applied on the headlights, as they are clear coated just like your paint.
You have to make sure the iron remover doesn’t contain solvents if you want to use it with a clay towel. As I don’t know the chemical composition of this new Gyeon Iron remover yet, I will have to ask them.
Pan, first of all, thank you for your very informative videos and product recommendations! Love them! I have used a lambs wool wash mitt for many years. Can you comment on lambs wool vs. microfiber? I know lambs wool is more expensive and requires more care, but I would like to know your thoughts.
Thanks for the positive feedback, I appreciate it! To answer your question, it's simply a question of personal taste. Use what feels best to you. I just happen to prefer microfiber wash mitts. Hi Pan.Many many congratulations for buying this "beautiful monster"! When I saw your video about wich car to choose, I had kind of hope you're gonna choose this vehicle! So,I was right:)By the way, I and my family we all driving on SUV,so enjoy and be safe. Now I'm wary interesting what are you going to upply to headlights. Why?Because I want to do so,I don't know if it's going to harmful my brand new headlights installed by warranty from dealer on my 2022 ACURA MDX ADVANCE. Because the originals was started to piling off clear coat!!!I bought it used with 17000 mi. only, and keep in garage all the time. I have a VONIX LIGHT ceramic coating for headlights and taillights, is it good for brand new headlamps?
Awesome spec, I have a e-hybrid coupe on order that should deliver in Aug, was wondering is the wheels spec glosss black or chromite. Ours is also in chalk, thanks.
Every level of dealership are complete hacks. From damaging new vehicles clear coats to driving expensive used vehicles that they have on their lots. A person would think at least Porsche dealers would trust these vehicles the way they should be.
I'm a detailer at a dealership. I'm well aware of my position's reputation. When I first started in June of 2022 I was horrified to see that the shop used a wash brush, one bucket, those cheap white dollar store wash mitts and an Absorber chamois. I may be in the minority but I try my best to use quality products and minimize swirls and scratches on new vehicles. I use two buckets with Detail Guards, 3D Super Soap, a chennile wash wand for roofs and hoods, a microfibre wash mitt and microfibre drying towels. When necessary I'll use The Rag Company Clay Scrubber. Wheels and tires I use 3D Super Citrus in an IK Foam pump sprayer. I have dedicated brushes and towels a for washing and drying wheels and tires along with a compressed air gun for blowing out crevices. Besides the chemicals and the air gun all of those tools I purchased with my own money. People spend a lot of money on vehicles. I do the best I can in the time I have so that their new or pre-owned vehicle looks the best it can on delivery. I don't take offense to the "dealership detailers are hacks" reputation because many simply don't care and are just trying to earn a paycheque. Me on the other hand I do care and my bosses know and appreciate that fact.
Regardless of which vehicle people get, I'm always happy for my viewers! What matters most is how happy your new car makes you, and you'll enjoy taking care of it. And Rav4 has the legendary Toyota reliability and resale value. A homerun!
Was the car not covered while outside for 3+ months? My Corvette C8 arrived in January and it had a nice cover on it. Shortly after receiving my car,I took it to a shop and had partial PPF and whole car ceramic coating applied.
I just performed a spring time deep decon wash and my Mazda carbon edition cx-9 was looking incredible. The morning it was covered in pollen. Any maintenance tips during the high pollen season. Very frustrating.
as always fantastic video! Yeah it's crazy with new cars they not so perfect when you get them. @PanTheOrganizer, what can you recommend to remove tar from fresh asphalt? There were new roads in my area and I have quite a bit of those tar spots on the sill. I tried BH Surfex HD but no luck.

Cool! Mr pan

Best Garage for this Cayenne 🎉
I agree! :)

Hahaahah I love it!!

A new car is never new until it's properly detailed.
- at the factory, the paint defects are often corrected quickly by rotary polishing which can leave marks and holograms, so polishing corrects those, before you lock that in long term with a ceramic coating for example.
- vehicles are then transported by truck, train and boat so they are exposed to the elements, industrial fallout, brake dust, rail dust, etc
- vehicles are often left at boat docks (when transported by boat) or in exterior parking lots for weeks or months, again being exposed to the elements
- at the dealership, the vehicles are almost always poorly prepped using the same dirty water that was used for all the cars on a given day, and poor washing and drying methods leading to swirls and scratches
- at the dealership, a layer of cheap wax or paint sealant is usually applied to attempt to make the paint glossy prior to delivery. It's crucial to remove any previous protection before you apply a ceramic coating, as coatings need to bond directly to a virgin clear coat.
If you only plan on applying a regular carnauba wax or paint sealant though, you could decide to skip machine polishing, as those protectants can be applied over existing protection and it's not as crucial to prep the paint as well.

That was a paaaaaaaaaantastic video, nice ride
Thanks Mike!
And 99% of the new cars I detail are like this or even worse.

Thank you very much! I hope you are having a great weekend Neil!
Cheers!!.. 😎

And then it begins! Good luck my friend looking forward for more to come!
More to come!
What's up, Pan. Could you use gyeon iron for the door jams? especially on the bottom of the inside part of the door.
You can use it on all painted surfaces that you wish, just make sure to thoroughly rinse once done.
@PanTheOrganizer would I be better off getting the area wet. Spraying the gyeon iron on a high-quality microfiber towel and applying it that way?
@@PanTheOrganizer Thank you for responding. I appreciate it.

think i need to do this to my car. Its never been properly detailed and im seeing some rough spots form on the hood that im afraid will turn into paint/clearcoat cancer.
If you were to clay, you would clay after the iron decontamination step correct? Then rinse off/dry?
I did clay. With the synthetic perforated décontamination towel.
But if you want separate steps, iron remover first, then clay, then machine polishing.

To answer your question, it’s hard to say as I don’t know what steps you do and what tools and products you use…
Hi Pan! I love watching your videos because you are very clear and thorough with how you explain the steps & products! I recently received delivery of my new car and this really opened my eyes!!
I had a quick question. If I’m trying to get rid of a ceramic detail spray. No other waxes and the vehicle is not ceramic coated. is it safe to use carpro descale on my vehicle?
Thank you!!

Congrats on your new car! Descale or any stripping soap alone won’t fully remove existing protection. They only start the breaking down process.
To ensure 100% removal of any paint protection, especially ceramic based ones, machine polishing is the only solution.
I explain all of this in this popular video: ua-cam.com/video/QgoyrC-5CMc/v-deo.html

Thanks man!
Hi Pan - thanks for the video. Quick question - what are you using in the wash bucket for the wheel decon wash? Really appreciate your videos!!
Usually some CarPro Reset.
Great information. Love that Chalk color.
Thanks Scott!
Bonjour Pan,
Microfiber barel brush: bit.ly/4akEmxy
Microfiber wheel mitt: bit.ly/4aq1yKO
Merci beaucoup 😊
Merci
Send them(Porsche) the bill for the paint correction ;) Pan, you hit 1M subs - incredible! Proud of you! Enjoy the weekend & the Wheels.
Merci!!
When doing tires,’ is Gyeon Wet Coat the same as Carpro Darkside… or should you use wet coat and then darkside? Thanks.
WetCoat is not a tire dressing. Gyeon has their Tire or Tire Express dressings for that.
Pan, what do you recommend to protect headlights from uv/oxidation damage before it gets bad?
Applying the same ceramic coating as on your paint. What ever you apply on your paint to protect it can also be applied on the headlights, as they are clear coated just like your paint.
Those wheels are badass Pan!! I went with 5 spoke wheels too because of the ease of cleaning
Thanks!
Since Gyeon tabs aren't available to the public in order to get a good sealant strip would purple power suffice?
After you’re done polishing, just wash the car using dishwashing liquid. Gyeon recommends that in their instructions.
Great video as usual. Looking forward for the next video.
Thanks!
Congratulations pan for your new car
Thank you so much 😀
@@PanTheOrganizer is it possible can I get your what's up or messenger number??
Doesn’t the new formulated iron remover from Gyeon contain slickness properties for use during the clay step?
You have to make sure the iron remover doesn’t contain solvents if you want to use it with a clay towel. As I don’t know the chemical composition of this new Gyeon Iron remover yet, I will have to ask them.
Congrats for your wonderful car, I love it. I am not a fan of 5-spoke wheels, but yes, very easy to clean indeed. 😊
Thanks! I love it!
@@PanTheOrganizer Merci Pan
Awesome to see the first coating!
Video coming soon!
Especially these two:

Would your new coating happen to be the chemical element for carbon? 😉
Thanks! Mine are gloss black.
Every level of dealership are complete hacks. From damaging new vehicles clear coats to driving expensive used vehicles that they have on their lots. A person would think at least Porsche dealers would trust these vehicles the way they should be.
To be fair though, I told them not to detail it. Just to wash it for my inspection on delivery. I can take care of my own detailing. :)
And 99% of the new cars I detail are like this or even worse.
@@RyanPetrynka Unfortunately, there are very few detailers at dealerships who care about their results like you do.
@@RyanPetrynkaA big THANK YOU Ryan on behalf of all of us who buy cars at a dealer and care about the appearance and feel of interior as well 👏👊🙏
@@RyanPetrynkadamn man, you are not being paid enough to do all that. Start your own detailing business so you can make a good living brother
Great video Pan. I was just wondering how long did you spent on your beautiful car. Thanks for sharing.
1 hour for this decon wash. And then the next video for polishing and coating application was approximately 5 hours at two people (10 man hours).
congrats 🎊 one million
Thanks!
Congratulations on the new vehicle, great choice
Thanks!
What would i use instead of the gyeon degrease tabs? Since they are not available to the public yet.
It seems you can now get them here: rb.gy/9hpz5y
@@PanTheOrganizer Thanks for the response! It still says it is not available for customers.
Excited and intrigued to find out which coating you use 😁 if it's your personal vehicle it HAS to be a banger 🙌🏼🔥
Coming soon!
You can really see the chalk color exterior in your garage. Looks great!
Thanks!
Thanks for reading my mind, I got a new car in Late March and planning on doing this coming summer when I finally take some time off work.
You can do it! Congrats on your new ride. What did you buy?
@@PanTheOrganizer Nothing crazy, just a Rav 4 Hybrid 😅
Regardless of which vehicle people get, I'm always happy for my viewers! What matters most is how happy your new car makes you, and you'll enjoy taking care of it. And Rav4 has the legendary Toyota reliability and resale value. A homerun!
Was the car not covered while outside for 3+ months? My Corvette C8 arrived in January and it had a nice cover on it. Shortly after receiving my car,I took it to a shop and had partial PPF and whole car ceramic coating applied.
I have no idea. I wasn’t there.
Omg I was so hyped for the first wash! Pan please make a Video about the Detailong (Polish etc.)
Of course you will see many videos to come on the entire process. Stay tuned!
I just performed a spring time deep decon wash and my Mazda carbon edition cx-9 was looking incredible. The morning it was covered in pollen. Any maintenance tips during the high pollen season. Very frustrating.
I will have a video on this coming soon.
as always fantastic video! Yeah it's crazy with new cars they not so perfect when you get them. @PanTheOrganizer, what can you recommend to remove tar from fresh asphalt? There were new roads in my area and I have quite a bit of those tar spots on the sill. I tried BH Surfex HD but no luck.
I have a video on that here: ua-cam.com/video/mXTW7m4WxEE/v-deo.htmlsi=n_OVjJSQR-IZpPxa
