    The mirrored fretboard is very helpful, thank you for your videos. Very easy to learn. God bless you :D

      Interesting. This is actually one of my last videos before I switched the fretboard the other way 😅. There seems to be a lot of difference of opinion about which way is more intuitive. But I would need a really good reason to switch it back because that would make things even more confusing.

    Is it just me or is the fretboard animation confusing?

    • @electric_praise
      @electric_praise  9 місяців тому

      @justinengler7308 since this video, I have started flipping the fretboard animation so the strings are from bottom to top, just like tablature. I’m always open to suggestions if you think it could be improved!

    Fretboard being upside down and all is really confusing. Made it way more difficult than it needed to be

      Yes, since this video I have started flipping the fretboard animation so the strings are from bottom to top, just like tablature. Perhaps you could elaborate on "and all". I’m always open to suggestions if there are things that could be improved!

      @@electric_praise no matter what way you look at it, no guitar fretboard will ever be backwards like that, mainly. Have the low E on bottom and high e on top.
      This view is like playing a left handed guitar upside down.
      But it sounds like you have since fixed that issue. It'd be cool if you would re-upload past videos with the updated animations tho

      @@JayDuuubb yes I'm going to start re-uploading older videos. I'm currently working on some hand-tracking software to automatically stabilize the guitar videos. When that is complete, I'll re-render the videos with the update animations.

    How would I play this in the key of D?

    • @electric_praise
      @electric_praise  3 місяці тому +1

      D is 1 semitone higher than the original key of Db so play everything 1 fret higher than in the video. For guitar 2, you could capo on the 2nd fret instead of 1st fret.

    How would I play the elec 1 intro solo in the key of G?

    • @electric_praise
      @electric_praise  23 дні тому

      You could play it either 6 frets lower or 6 frets higher than what I play in the video, since G is 6 semitones lower and higher than Db. If it were me, I would play it 6 frets lower because it would end up being very high if you go 6 frets higher.

      I apologize I meant the key of C. How would I play this in the key of C?

    • @electric_praise
      @electric_praise  22 дні тому

      @@user-or2ye2if1y Ok that is actually much easier! C is one semitone lower than Db so you would play everything one fret lower. For the rhythm guitar parts, you could remove the capo and play all the same chord shapes.

      @@electric_praise ok thank you! I knew something wasn’t right when you said 6 frets down 😂. I apologize

    If I were to switch to Key of C, how would I play this???

    • @electric_praise
      @electric_praise  9 місяців тому

      The original track is in Db and C is one semitone lower than Db so you would move everything down by 1 fret. For the Guitar 2 part, you could play with no capo and use the same chord shapes you see in the video. For Guitar 1, just move everything down 1 fret. Hope that helps!
