Is this and or a cadence sensor the cheaper alternative? I wanna do these rides on zwift but don’t want to buy a power meter? Is it similar readings or accuracy?
Hi there. My pairing a cadence sensor you will only receive cadence data added to the field. By pairing the ROLLR as the speed sensor as demonstrated in the video you will be able to have your Avatar move through the course. However it will not change the resistance of the ROLLR when going up hill, etc as it does not have a true power reading. The "virtual power" that Zwift is reading is not goin to be accurate enough to do any type of racing, etc. If you want the full experience of Zwift and the ROLLR a power meter will be needed.
I'm gonna try this but I think you can use on the bike cadence sensor and choose it instead of Kickr Rollr and get cadence readings?
