Thanks, Amber for a highly entertaining review of NewlyNamed! We're getting married this winter - and as a "mature" bride, I had lots of questions. In Ohio, you basically bring your entire life history to the Social Security office to change your name. I have heard that you should wait until after your honeymoon to change your documents. We must visit the Probate Court to get our license - and you must bring all pertaining documents, such as birth certificate SS card, passport, driver's license, proof of address/residency, etc. I've never been married, but my fiancee has, so he has to find his final divorce decree, filed by the courts, blah, blah, blah. Yippee! The government makes it so much fun, don't they? Hope you had a great honeymoon - and I appreciate you making me laugh!
Wow, that was amazing! Funny story...one time I was on hold at Social Security for 2 hours and when they answered, I got so excited, I accidently hung up on them!! 😄 Haha
