Remember to always start engine first, then water. Then water off, rev a few times and then engine off. Doing the water first on startup can get into your engine
I have an '08 250X (130 hrs.) and mine has always done the same thing since it was new. I have replaced the battery in the past month and that annoying alarm still goes off at most every startup...technical glitch I assume. Don't sweat it, the ski's a beast though very thirsty!!!
