- Back in 2019, I initially wrote off Ryusoulger for it’s weird opening arc. Two years later, Power Rangers adapted those elements to create a more streamlined experience. In this video, I’ll explain how Dino Fury as an adaptation essentially “fixed” Ryusoulger’s opening arc. Remember to like, comment, subscribe, and stay cool-io.

Thnks bro! Though I found Ryusoulger's opening a bit weird, I still recommend the show. It's one of those cases where it gets better as it progresses, especially the emotional final arc.
@@HesJulioCoolio Yeah I finished watching this video and it was quite good. These sound like valid criticisms and I’m glad Dino Fury may have improved upon them, but yeah I’ll have to actually check out Ryusoulger. From what I hear, the Nada twist is the lowest point, but it picks up afterwards, so hopefully there’s promise.

@@ToQ_Ridergou I think Nada is actually where the show begins to get good. The thing people ate about that arc is what eventually happens to him as the episodes go on. Even the producers admitted they would've changed their minds had they known Nada would be so popular.

Dino Fury still has it's issues, but compare to recent seasons it's slowly getting their, despite restrictions, mandates and executive meddling.

The problems with ryusoulger you brought up are some of the main contributing factors behind why I ended up dropping the show a bit further in (I'd even say you put into words things I didn't like that I couldn't quite sum up before). With toku I find opening arcs pretty critical for me, if it isn't to my liking the show going forward probably won't be able to change my mind due to me not feeling endeared to the characters and setting
I felt the same way when I first watched Ryusoulger. I ended up thinking the whole show was alright, though those first few episodes were a chore.
Getting the pacing right really applies to any media in general. I've had Jedi Alliance on the DS ever since it came out. Though I never got the first 3 or so levels because the game is so slow. The cutscenes especially hog it up as the game doesn't let you skip them.

16:02 I clearly didn't notice that clever graduation in the show, but I somehow noticed that Ryusoulger pacing was really weird sometimes (I'm looking at you, RyusoulBlue Noblesse)

I'm gonna be honest I prefer ryusoul green and black than dino fury green and black ranger.
12:00 I will have to partially disagree with that, because in dino fury, they try to make the green ranger look like she is better than the others and making her more relevant than the others. While I'm ryusoulger the green ranger is not shown to be better than the others, and in the show they show that the black ranger is a good kind of mentor for the green ranger, while dino fury treat the black ranger as a immature idiot and that the sister is always correct and never do something wrong 🤦♂️.

This sint a hate comment at all. Just is just me sharing my thoughts so if I sound rude I am sorry and didn't mean to just talking about the flaws so don't take this personally nor in a negative way wish u and others the best.
Now let me just say these things.
I am sorry but pls watch your own video first and think about it. I kinda feels like u didn't watched ryusoulgers. Where u missed all the points from it. Heck even contradicting your own points too. Like you claim they didn't had character focus just for u to prove yourself wrong the next second. Where ryusoulgers did a better job at it. They didn't rush anything but went straight to the point but give the viewers time to breath with out showing it all in their faces.
Unlike dino fury that rushed it. Yeah u can say that same thing about Amelia for us who actually is better for the role since she is a character that actually have no idea about the ranger team at all. Cause she is a outsider. So we as the viewers like her are the outsiders.
While Amelia is part 9f the team so it does but also doesn't give as much outside pov of the world.
While the ryusoulgers were in their own world outside of society like Gingaman were. Like even lost galaxy did that well with Maya.
Yeah they aren't gonna write personal episodes for the characters for each episode in the first 5 or 10 episodes cause that will effect writing for later when they run out of writing materials. Like in lupatrangers.
But with Java and izzy their counterparts also learn the same lesson but better and more meaningful. While dino fury just felt rushed but also kinda obvious with Javi episode where it felt pointless while izzy need to learn more.
Whole the 3 kinghts combo argument is about that they are ready to leave their world and start their journey which is why 3knight came first but after it was about the characters struggles. That there weren't ready as they thought cause they had alot more to learn. Which is why then they got their own combo it felt reasonable. Like asuna episode about her being clumsy same lesson what Amelia learned.
Same with melt he haven't bond with his mecha yet at the time they still would have disagreements which was shown a few times before even with tyramigo.
Now the masters part was good already. It is fine that they killed them off so we feel bad for their student and gave them a purpose. Which shows that they been this war for too long which already explains what is going on already. Then when we get episodes later about the masters it is deserved instead of random or forced. Cause the team are still learning even if they are getting use to things.
Nah still think ryusoulger was rushed all development goes to the side character which don't mind but right after that you interduce two other characters and give there character focus episodes and give the main 3 miner development and making the mecha interdictions mixed up and showing the mechas two combination that we didn't see and making the the villains idiots and making the evil ranger uninteresting by saying oh the armor was doing the bad stuff while the void knight was doing bad stuff for a reason and dino fury set up its main villain while ryusoulger just brings there out of no where do see and there are alot of seasons where some people don't know about power rangers like ninja storm blue do you need to hear more because I got more

Just a quick question Mr JulioCoolio but after Dino fury which super sentai season do you think will be adapted. To me it may be kiramager but zenkiager may not get adapted because;
1. The sentai gears.
2. Zenkiager and staseaser are based on unadapted seasons (Goranger and Battle Fever J)
3. I just really want to see kiramager become power rangers
I think Zenkaiger's still possible. The numbers of the helmets would just need to be corrected for close-up helmet shots, and Hasbro has been using more original footage than anything. Though I will say I believe Kiramager is next. Not only was Hasbro involved in it's design, but Kiramager's aesthetic is simple yet unique enough to sell. Plus the show lacks a collectible gimmick, which Hasbro oddly has a gripe with doing those.
Zenkaiger could be adapted if they stick to PR teams adapted already in what footage they slice in.

At 7:12 Ryusoulger messed this up. KirshiryuohTriken appeared 3 episodes later. Luckily dino fury fixed this by introducing kirshiryuohtriken in ep8, kirshiryuohankyloze in ep6 making the finisher even better.
