Last season in particular: 1-0 up at home to Marine and conceding a goal in the 7th minute of stoppage time then losing in extra time. If it's any consolation, I personally felt coming into the playoffs that Clitheroe were the team we had to beat. Best of luck for next season. P.S. The penalty was a soft one. However, we had 2 stonewall penalties in the second half that weren't given.
Fair play mate, a great view of what its like following a non league side. The reds were the better side on the night but your lads did their best and you definitely should have a chance next season. The penalty? Never was, but... we had two stonewall ones turned down. But we don't have VAR do we?
Good vid. Made a lot of the soft penalty but in truth blatant handball by gonzales 2nd half should have been a penalty and wasn't given. Also shove on Symington wasn't either so hard to say Clitheroe were hard done by.
The penalty was incredibly soft but honestly I don’t feel hard done by in terms of the result. Workington were simply the better team on the night and deserved to progress. We didn’t turn up. Good luck in the final today, genuinely hope you go up! 👏🏻
