J'adore la vidéo bravo pour le travail réalisé à chaque fois. J'aimerai simplement signalé que la lumière de derrière est peut etre un tout petit peu trop forte à chaque déplacement d'un coté à l'autre je me prend une vague lumineuse 😂. Peut etre pourriez vous baisser un tout petit peu la luminosité ? À moins que je ne sois le seul à avoir cette légère gêne. Merci pour la vidéo

Why did you just abandon your original channel? Most of us have no idea you made a new channel. It would be to your benefit to at least make a video over there about all your content being here now so your subscribers are aware. I'm sure you can tell by your numbers that the vast majority of us have no idea where your content went.
It's fine if you decided you don't care about your non-French-speaking subscribers anymore, but it would be nice to at least share your new home for content so people can at least choose to still watch you here if they know French or are fine not understanding anything.

About letting people know about this new channel: I just counted 8 different post I made during the last 3 months on the community tab of my original channel… if you haven’t seen one of those 8 posts in your subscriber feed just proves UA-cam is doing a bad job with the impression of the content of my original channel, as talked about in the video above :/
I do care about the non-french speakers subscribers actually, but on the original channel I got complains every now and then for years from French people commenting that I should care more about them. Me doing English content for 10 years, and then telling me I don’t care about non-English speakers is wild lol, I’m just catching back a little with my French audience on this new « less time consuming content to make » channel that is small.
So I think I made all the right choices here, I have not let people in the unknown nor abandoned the channel (1 explanation video about the struggles of the original channel, 8 posts about this new channel, caring more about French audience who felt neglected, etc).
I’ve even got an idea for a new series of videos for my original channel, but this comment is not encouraging me lmao, considering the reasons I paused my original content (not your fault let’s be clear, just bad recommendation of my original channel by UA-cam for years)
@@PetitCourrierASMRMost people don't look at the community tab and most content creators don't use it. They're waiting for a new video in their subscription box. There's no video that I see saying that you were going to stop making content on the original channel. The video you linked me is from 7 months ago. You just stopped uploading 3 months ago. So me, I'm looking at the most recent video again to see if I missed something and wondering what happened to this guy.
It takes just a few minutes to turn the camera on and say hey, I haven't been uploading here, but you can watch content on my other channel if you want. Will be back soon. Otherwise, your audience just thinks you've stopped. This channel isn't even linked in your about page.
I had realized I hadn't seen anything from you in ages, had to search your original channel name, and then this channel popped up. If I didn't care I would've just assumed you were done and unsubscribed, rather than trying to search for what happened. Take it how you will.
Alright so first: community posts appears in home page and subbed channels page, not just on the community tabs of my channel.
I’m pretty sure if you’ve ever been on your subscription page in the last 3 months, you’ve came across one of my 8 posts sharing content of this channel. Unless UA-cam is not showing it, which confirms what I said in the video.
I literally did the type of video you mentioned I should do, yes it is from 7 months ago, to warn people in advance, which I think is even more respectful than saying things afterwards. This video is literally titled « The End? » and is about slowing down and taking a break. In this video I said I still have an idea of a series of videos I wanted to make for Christmas Advent Calendar before taking my break. So the video you’re asking is existing and has been posted, then I uploaded the advent calendar (which has been seen by 0,5% of my subscribers by the way, thanks again UA-cam).
I posted 1 last idea I wanted to make by the end of February (Harry Potter Letters), that’s all. Slowing down and break, as told to everyone.
What I don’t understand is : if you have not watched this « The End? » video at the time I released it, why would you watch it if I released it now (what you’re asking me to do)? And if you’ve actually watched it when it was released, then this break is no surprise to you.
So… you want to be warned when creators stops making content, but don’t watch their warning videos?
This channel is not linked to my main channel for a simple reason. My main channel is really badly recommended by UA-cam because I make content in English and in French on it, so the algorithm never knows to whom he gotta recommend the next vid. BTW this topic, if I remember well, was talked about in that « the end? » video.
The fact I messed up my own algorithm by doing so, made me think about separating the audiences, so I prefer people who really want to hear French content subbed to this channel (and not non-french speakers randomly looking a few minutes and finally quitting the video = bad watch time, poor recommendations). This is why those 8 posts are written in French only btw.
I’m even thinking about stopping making any French content on the main channel.
Also, this idea of separating audiences is an advice from my UA-cam Partner Manager (people who work at UA-cam helping creators).
So as I said, the main channel is on standby, not abandoned, everyone has been warned 7 months ago by the video you’re saying I should do, and I have some ideas about new vids for the future.

Do you think anyone is going to remember the speaking content of a video from 7 months ago? People are lucky to remember extremely important things from 7 months ago. Normally a content creator would make a short video called "Taking a Break" or something as the last video before they take the break. So subscribers can easily see what happened when they notice they haven't seen any videos for a while and don't just delete the subscription.
So what you're saying is, you built an audience on the other channel, and prefer to leave them there and start from scratch just because we don't know French? Even tho a lot of us wouldn't even care that it was in French? It would help you to at least make a link in that channel to this one saying "French only content", but do whatever your UA-cam advisor tells you. After all, UA-cam has never screwed over content creators before, right? Surely it's a good idea to just leave those 500k subscribers there. I'm surprised that advisor didn't give you actual good advice, like how the algorithm currently favors 20 minute videos, so maybe consider shorter versions of your ideas or try breaking it down into 20ish minute parts, etc.
Maybe I'm the first person telling you this, but most people aren't even going to do this much digging. Surely you see how low the views are here compared to the other channel. I'm sure I don't need to tell you that most have just assumed you're gone. And if you come back, because it's been at least 3 months, your video still may not be pushed to subscription boxes because of the long break. So they may never know and those viewers are just lost.
You can do whatever you want, and honestly at this point I regret even asking. I should've just left it as you were gone and that was that. I enjoyed the content that was there, otherwise I wouldn't have bothered saying anything here.
If the goal of your comments here is to encourage me, just know this is doing the exact opposite.
You don’t try to understand my position and just tell me what to do. Have you made 600+ videos over 10 years, alone, to earn maybe 10 times less than someone casually showing b**bs and putting that same « ASMR » keyword, just to know what it feels? Good job algorithm for pushing this content :) Getting angry comments of French people as soon as I release an English video? Wanting to make art that also helps people, but UA-cam recommends only good-watchtime content, which is not the logic of slow paced relaxing art, but the logic of pure entertainment and Shorts/TikTok content that are killing the platform?
The video titled « the end? » clearly shows, even without watching it, that it is about stopping making content. When it was released, it was not 7 months old, it was just released lol. Then 0,5% of my subs saw the videos I uploaded afterwards, so we can consider that for 99,5% people the break already started when that « the end » video was released.
Also, I consider warning people in advance much more respectful, if the break is planned (not because of unfortunate events) than justify it afterwards. Maybe we have different ways of considering respect.
I see many community posts every day in my home page and subscription page, like quick surveys, teasing picture or even just text.
No, I am not « leaving » a full audience, just watch that video to understand what is happening. All your questions here and assumptions are answered in this video. I never really took a break in 10 years, and you’re here telling me I should do more or whatever. If you do enjoy my content, and want to encourage me to keep going, first is to respect the reasons why I need a break, that I fully explained in a video I gave you the link. I am not going to re-make another video to say the same things « I am currently in my break guys! » and repeat all the reasons.
You assuming I’m leaving an audience or whatever is just from your mind. I do not « prefer to leave them », that is wild to assume things I never said, while all the real explanations are public and available. Those explanations are all in english, here I'm spending hours replying to you in english why it's not my native langage. Si tu veux vraiment pas rater mon contenu français, je peux te répondre en français alors ? Il faut arrêter de tout prendre pour acquis parfois.
This channel here is taking 20 less time and almost 0€ to produce content, than the cinematic ASMR videos on my main channel, where videos can take me 3 months or more, and 3K€ to produce, even though this is what I prefer doing. But I’m just repeating what’s been said in the « The End? » video, again.
This channel here is just a side quest in the meantime, to connect with my french audience too. It is not a replacement or what I will do forever. I wish I can come back to my main channel as soon as I can, but it doesn’t depend just on me only (as said in the video, again).
I can’t satisfy 100% everyone when everyone comes from different places and with different way of expecting content, with a bad algorithm not suitable for art and slow paced videos.
You know what, I’ve been to a Talk between UA-cam French CEO and the SACD (French company of author and composer, that pays royalities to artists in the audiovisual industry).
The talk was about « making fiction content on UA-cam » i.e short films, webseries, etc. The conclusion of that talk, after the audience told them « algorithm just forces us to produce shitty content », was that « France is the country that makes the best fiction content on UA-cam, rather than the US who are best at entertainment content but also are the biggest part of UA-cam, so UA-cam algorithm is really good to push entertainment content, but your fiction content here in France is not viable (ratio time&budget to produce VS views&earnings) and you should maybe consider other platforms than UA-cam, like Netflix, because YT algorithm works for the whole platform internationally, and is not specific to one country even if a country is good in another specific field ». That was said by French UA-cam CEO and the SACD. All creators in the audience of that talk was upset, that was 4 years ago, and nothing has really changed. I remember it like it was yesterday.

So yeah, you know better than people working at UA-cam, why not.
Remember before doing the videos he always wanted to make now, Mr Beast had first to go through a phase of absolut level 0 content, by counting to 100K or whatever and hiding PlayStation Codes within the 10 hours of video, just to force watchtime. Literally biggest UA-camr of today had to make the lowest quality content a human can create on purpose to get watchtime, and so money that gives budget for the videos he's doing now, which shows the non-sense of the algorithm.
I'm not going to shorten the length of my videos that are made to help people relax and fall asleep just because algorithm supposedly prefers 20min vids, the same way I'm not gonna put 5 mid-roll ads to get more money and budget on videos made to fall asleep, even if the algorithm likes it better.
Now, saying you "regret even asking" just sells that you're not here to understand or encourage, but just blame the creator who didn't specifically knocked on your door to say they're taking a break. Wild. I'm a human too, man.
