No weird people looking at you dumping through the cracks of those shitty stalls at literally every public bathroom. Also great job allowing a lockable room that's totally enclosed so kids can do drugs or worse....sex stuff.
@viepng having sex isn't the problem they are trying to solve the problem they are solving is if a man changes their gender to female then should she use which bathroom. They solved it by not having gender specific bathrooms
The reason why these bathrooms have taller stalls and no cracks...is because kids, especially boys, would peak over or under the bathroom stalls at girls... This is a horrible idea. Even for adults. Because it completely dismisses people who were abused. Now don't have any safe spaces... I had a friend who went into these bathrooms and walked out of the stall with a man staring at her. She had a full on panic attack...because of her past trauma. The building had not other bathrooms. So she had no choice...
@@MagicToenail Girls need some extra privacy during certain times of the month. Especially during teen years where self-consciousness is high. No trash can means you CAN'T do all your business in the stall (for girls).

How is this not okay? These are completely private, individual stalls that have a fully functioning lock. No one can look into the stalls through the cracks or through the bottom and no one can hear you doing your business.
@@viepng Although "privacy" is good, there's a few things: 1. Males who don't know how to aim, pee all over the seats. 2. This is ok if there’s no urinals. Many cafes in other countries don’t have different toilets for men and women. It shouldn’t be about having 3 different kinds of toilet. We should have one toilet with private cubicles with toilet and wash basins but no urinals. Isn’t that what we have at home.
Hint: You can also change in these rooms. So, what would possibly make females feel unsafe in doing so? Could it be the "toilet monster" jumping out of the bowl and attacking them?
This is not good enough! We also need gender neutral non supervised changing rooms, and as many people of different genders can go in there at the same time with no supervision so they can have “privacy”, and for some of the students to supervise instead! On the other hand, the American army is concerned about the growing number of cases of soldiers with hemorrhoids after LGBT members began to be accepted into the troops.
@thesilentskylar Okay, so let's waste tax paying money on complete private, locked rooms so that it doesn't offend less than 1 % of the population. Also, have you heard of rape before?
That unisex toilet looks perfectly fine to me (very old invention), but I find very unsettling that you care so much about such a tiny issue when most of the people showing on that video are overweight. And how are you addressing the obesity pandemic which is affecting everyone, *not just the minority of transexual or gender fluid people*? Obesity literally kills millions directly every year around the world, gender fluidity certainly doesn't.
Because obesity is not the topic of this conversation right now. Right now we are talking about privacy. And as a woman, I would feel completely uncomfortable in a unisex bathroom, but you know, we don't even get a choice. Did they even let the kids vote? And a family bathroom is not the same as a unisex bathroom. A family bathroom is like your own personal at home bathroom, complete privacy with a sink and toiletries. When you finish your business, then you open the door and the next person walks in. Unisex bathroom, you get a toilet and a trash can and everything else is outside, if you need to clean yourself up or buy a tampon, all the guys, the girls, the teachers, the world is in your business..
Imagine your daughter is 12, brand new in highschool, has her first period and goes to the bathroom in an extremely vulnerable moment with her girl friend, they are talking about their private parts and then a bunch of 15-year-old guys barge in talking loudly and talking boy stuff. It's chaotic and unsettling.
I fall on the middle right of this issue, however, I'm not sure why this would upset anyone. This seems like a perfect solution for both sides of this issue. Girls feel safe as they do not have anyone with male genitalia in their bathroom, that makes sense. Trans kids don't get hassled for using the boys bathroom and we don't have to discuss sex or gender at all when talking about bathrooms. You could call them unisex bathrooms if you want. We have had those for ages. The sinks being comunal and in the open means that they probably are not too much more expensive than regular bathrooms as their are still plumbing being utilised efficiently. They should definitely have smoke alarms that can also detect vape mist, if they didn't think of that, they are either idiots or never went to high school themselves. Come on people, you know they are going to try to smoke in the bathrooms and you know it is 100% your job to stop them. They also need cameras that record everyone who enters to make sure that only one person uses them at a time. The first time someone gets raped in one the school will, and should get sued. They need to get out in front of that. However, even with it's couple of drawbacks, everyone should be happy with this arrangement. I don't know why a parent wouldn't like this arrangement. This is more like the bathroom at many clubs, parks and train stations. This is not introducing some new idea that doesn't exist anywhere else.
Well, females need a little more privacy then this. These people coming up with these ideas act like they never went to school... I hope they don't do this every where, as an adult I would hate it, can't imagine as a kid...
