- THIS RECORDING IS MOST MEMORABLE EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE.....WE CHOSE THIS SONG AFTER MANY DELIBERATIONS WHICH WENT ON FOR ALMOST ONE MONTH.....SUNG BY MY PET SINGER LATE ABDUL RASHID FARASH . THIS SONG WAS ORIGINALLY BEING PLAYED ON AZAD KASHMIR RADIO AND WAS COMPOSED BY MOHD SUBHAN RATHER WHO IS CONSIDERED AS ONE OF BEST RABAB PLAYERS IN THE SUB CONTINENT .....THOUGH THE BARRIERS ARE THERE, THE WALLS STAND BETWEEN TWO PARTS OF KASHMIR BUT KASHMIRI MUSIC HAS GONE BEYOND THOSE BARRIERS AND AFTER LAUNCHING THIS ALBUM IT WAS PLAYED BY THE RADIO STATION ON THE OTHER SIDE OF KASHMIR.....WE PRAY FOR THESE BARRIERS TO BE OVER FOR THE ARTIST COMMUNITY SO THAT GOOD GOODIES ON BOTH SIDES CAN CREATE INTERESTING LISTENING MATERIAL FOR OUR PEOPLE.
What a melodious song sung beautifully by Rasid Farash Sahab in his mesmerizing voice. I miss you since very recently l heard about your leaving this world, so early.
I remember debating with my mom and brother over different voice to choose farash sahab. I would always win though I was only 9 years kid. I was in 7th class when he left us. I was in my Orchard and rest day i spent in pervasive agony.
Today I am 26 but your memories are still bouncing in my heart.

I still remember those times my late grandfather used to listen to this song and we had nun chai and those mornings💓💓....
