Exposure therapy is working! Your aversion to character dining juxtaposed with Ryan's gift for character interactions has brought me so much joy. Loving your channel!
That looked so much better than when we ate there (it was a year after COVID and they were still bringing the food to you in small plates). The salmon looked really good and my would have loved the pasta options. I appreciated that you included a review of the price/value.
i love the food too!! yeah it might not be Victoria & Albert's, but for a buffet is really taste and with good variety, not to mention, the chef himself goes to your table :)
You seem so much more comfortable than any previous character dining vlogs. I'm really happy for you! And thanks for another honest review. I feel like so many others fake it though.
Thanks for turning me on to mouse watcher. I just used it and got reservations for a beard trim at Harmony Barbershop and we scored reservations for The Keys To The Kingdom tour next week.
That is so amazing to hear! I'm so glad they were able to help you out. It's so cool that they do more than just dining reservations. Enjoy your tour & Harmony barber shop visit!
Ryans interaction with the characters is hilarious. Never know what he's going to ask! Went went to breakfast at Chef Mickey's before COVID and it was an awesome experience. Food was excellent then also. Thanks for your vlogs, i enjoy watching them.
I totally remember the napkin spinning especially on Disney cruise line! I loved that as a kid 😂 great vlog, have to agree it’s very expensive, but if you have kids totally worth it!
I’ve been doing a lot of research for months as my Disney trip is coming up November 8 with my son who will be turning five during our trip. My 60 days to reserve my dining just hit this morning and I was able to get chef Mickey on his birthday sadly I didn’t get it for early breakfast but I was able to get 1205. I also booked Hollywood and vine as the characters are known to dress up in their Christmas outfits during the time that I’m there and that I’m super excited about.
Love watching your reviews on food. Our family watches you then switches over to For the Love of the theme parks and laughs at Ryan’s “behind the scenes footage”. Thanks for all you do. We were in the parks from 8/15-8/24 hoping we would see you, but we never ran into you.
Great video! I saw you filming this yesterday and I wanted to say hi! We had character dining at Cinderella’s Royal Table today and I feel like the food there was really disappointing. Chef Mickey’s looks much better! Love your videos!
I need to look, but have you done that princess dining? I think it’s in Norway in Epcot. I’d really like to see a review on that one if you guys can get a reservation there
We did the napkin twirling when our girls were little and they loved the squishy ice cream and all the toppings. Love your vlogs keep up the good work 👏👏👍
yes- This place is total nostalgia!! Ate there on my HS senior class trip to Disney- and then years later it was the first place we took my son on his first Disney trip 🥰 He was 3 and loved seeing all the characters without waiting in lines! Now, He's almost 13 and too cool for characters- the closest we get is Oga's for a Carbon Freeze 😅🤣 Thanks for another great, honest video!!
We had dinner in February with my toddler. Two of the chsrachters walked right past our table and we were the first table when they walk in. Topolinos is better interactions for little kids in my opinion. The food was just ok. It was before they went back to the buffet so maybe that makes a difference. I wouldn't go back though. I would choose a different character dining.
While I agree Topolinos is far better, when at character dining meals the characters have a specific order to the tables they visit. Maybe your table was the last one they are supposed to visit. We were seated right next to the door, but with the order they have to go we ended up being last. Which was actually kind of nice because we knew when to expect them & made sure we weren’t up at the buffet getting food
I love CM breakfast, been a family tradition for a long time. Went once for dinner and wasn't a fan. Maybe we'll try dinner again, looks way better than many years ago.
Kristen-I think the exposure therapy is working for you.- you jumped at that opportunity to take a photo with Minnie. I would be like Isabelle- landlock my self behind a table against a wall😂
I was just there for my birthday when the cast members told me they were gonna switch to the Buffett. I can’t wait for my next trip to experience what you guys are doing
Haven’t done it yet, will have to try once at least, as a family that goes about once a year. I keep putting it off though, since my daughter is now over 9, and still super picky. NO WAY she would eat enough for $62! ☹️
We were at the Aulani Character breakfast in May and they swung napkins in the air. 😂 I got a blackmail video of my husband swinging the napkin, he is 45!
The quality of the food at Topolino’s breakfast is far better. The character interactions are way less rushed, they come around so many times & seriously spend a ton of time at each table. Also the restaurant & ambiance is way nicer. But Chef Mickey’s is a classic & is so fun!
@wrightdownmainstreet thank you, we did wonder. We were after a really hard to get reservation during the 50th, so will give it another go. Thanks for the great reviews by the way.
We literally stopped going because I got the Ick from that napkin twirling song. Food was flying from people’s napkins and that did me in. I hope they got rid of it.(Bah humbug)
I have watched both videos now and I have a question and I want to see who answers it first…or at all…the brother or the sister. Is there a desert for people who want something that is all/mostly chocolate (red velvet is not chocolate)?
The most chocolatey thing is the cannoli cheesecake I showed at the end. They used to have these really good Oreos topped with a chocolate mousse dome & mouse ears, but it’s no longer there. (I hope I won)
You didn't try the cookies???What? No more ice cream is just sad. You gals loved to grab those gummy bears to go. lol I think the shrimp, beef, and potatoes would be it for me. Oh, and I see the little Mickey mousse domes are missing and without the napkin twirling is it even Chef Mickey's anymore?
This was fun. I guess you pay to be interrupted the entire time you're there. 😂😂 Kids would flip over this tho. But you'd pay for them to eat and they would only care about the characters, not the food! Lol
For dinner I definitely recommend a stop at Narcoossees at the Grand Floridian & for breakfast I would say The Boathouse but if you don’t want Springs then maybe Olivia’s at Old Key West
Exposure therapy is working! Your aversion to character dining juxtaposed with Ryan's gift for character interactions has brought me so much joy. Loving your channel!
The food was fine, but the memories of my son's excitement, seeing and dancing with the characters, were priceless!
That’s what it’s all about!
That looked so much better than when we ate there (it was a year after COVID and they were still bringing the food to you in small plates). The salmon looked really good and my would have loved the pasta options. I appreciated that you included a review of the price/value.

We always went for breakfast and I’d go feral during the celebration song. Was so fun twirling the napkins
The foods alright but the nostalgia was everything!!
Thanks for turning me on to mouse watcher. I just used it and got reservations for a beard trim at Harmony Barbershop and we scored reservations for The Keys To The Kingdom tour next week.

I love Chef Mickeys. We always do breakfast there, though. I may try dinner there next time! My fave character dining so far is Tusker House.
More character dining videos…Tusker House and Hollywood and Vine please 🙏🏽 I love them!
I remember the napkin waving too! You’re right, there are so many memories for us at Chef Mickey’s! Thanks for the honest review!
Ryans interaction with the characters is hilarious. Never know what he's going to ask!
Went went to breakfast at Chef Mickey's before COVID and it was an awesome experience. Food was excellent then also. Thanks for your vlogs, i enjoy watching them.
Ryan's interactions are crazy hahaa he plans them in advance before arriving to the restaurant smh
He's got a wild imagination, very creative
Thanks for suggestions!
I totally remember the napkin spinning especially on Disney cruise line! I loved that as a kid 😂 great vlog, have to agree it’s very expensive, but if you have kids totally worth it!
Once my son filled his pockets with Runts candies from the sundae bar😂
When we went back in August of 2022, Donald Duck started twerking in center stage. Everyone started clapping. It was cute and funny.

Thats awesome! Ryan's videos always have me laughing. Wish I got to run into you guys!
Great video! I saw you filming this yesterday and I wanted to say hi! We had character dining at Cinderella’s Royal Table today and I feel like the food there was really disappointing. Chef Mickey’s looks much better! Love your videos!
You should have said hi!

great review. love your content
Yes we were there 2008 long time ago anyway we waved our napkins!!!! We remember!!!! We love your videos as we plan our next trip!
Good Morning Kristen! Hope you are doing well with the storm and keeping safe!
Loved the napkin dance

id like more comparisons with other buffets for dinner with characters
Thank you for your honest review.
Yes, I remember doing that too. Twirling the towel.
Glad I'm not the only one!

Love your show please stay safe ❤
A favorite for me too, my mom always loved to take us there ❤❤
Your brother is so funny. Need him in more videos. 😂
Yes it is, but I’m definitely watching this video anyway because I love your channel and your videos. Great content❤
I am taking to the therapy well. I have the best therapist in the game
I was just there for my birthday when the cast members told me they were gonna switch to the Buffett. I can’t wait for my next trip to experience what you guys are doing

Now I’m so hungry 😋 love Chef Mickey’s 👍🏻
I 100% remember the napkins!
I love all the characters special cute costumes ❤
AWESOMENESS
I miss Chef Mickey's homemade Rice Krispy Treats, they were the best around WDW.
We were at the Aulani Character breakfast in May and they swung napkins in the air. 😂 I got a blackmail video of my husband swinging the napkin, he is 45!
It’s so fun! They need to bring it back to Chef Mickey’s
That’s my family’s favorite character meal: how would you compare this one though to toppolino characters breakfast
The quality of the food at Topolino’s breakfast is far better. The character interactions are way less rushed, they come around so many times & seriously spend a ton of time at each table. Also the restaurant & ambiance is way nicer. But Chef Mickey’s is a classic & is so fun!
I need the character dining room exposure therapy 😆😆
Ryan can be everyones character dining exposure therapist
New camera?? Great quality!!
I have had this camera for a few months now, but thank you!
We were at 50’s dine in at Hollywood studios and it was $70 each. That is insane expensive.
What in the world did you order? The most expensive thing on the menu is $28 😅
Does mousewatcher work for people in the uk? We found we were getting alerts at 2/3am which meant we then missed them 😢
They send alerts whenever the reservations open up. They must just happen to become available really late in the evening for you
@wrightdownmainstreet thank you, we did wonder.
I never thought of this…. Hmmmm you are now making me second guess wanting them to bring that back. I am a huge germaphobe
I have watched both videos now and I have a question and I want to see who answers it first…or at all…the brother or the sister.
Is there a desert for people who want something that is all/mostly chocolate (red velvet is not chocolate)?

@@wrightdownmainstreet congratulations winner!!!
I Love It
Breakfast is cheaper so that’s when I’d go
too bad about the pork dumplings n soup. had a vision of putting those dumplings in the soup. 😮
Looks good but I wish there were more vegan options. Kinda pricy for just “meatloaf” and veggies.
I just realized the oreo mousse domes were gone
😥 those were the best!
This was fun. I guess you pay to be interrupted the entire time you're there. 😂😂 Kids would flip over this tho. But you'd pay for them to eat and they would only care about the characters, not the food! Lol
FIRST!!
🏆🏆🏆
For a group of 3 adults it's not worth the price to me even for characters I just can't pay that kind of money I'd rather go to a sit down restaurant
Goofy has hit on me
It looks nasty, actually
You’re Gorgeous
What restaurants do you recommend for adults only breakfast and dinner within the Disney bubble excluding Disney Springs. Go
For dinner I definitely recommend a stop at Narcoossees at the Grand Floridian & for breakfast I would say The Boathouse but if you don’t want Springs then maybe Olivia’s at Old Key West
