As a recovering addict, I’ve seen a lot of people comment that they have no sympathy because of Cara’s privilege. Let me tell you, especially as someone who is about to volunteer in the recovery services, addiction does not care about your material status, anyone can be an addict. Also everyone has their trauma and story, no matter how rich or poor you are. Even if you get rich, there’s new problems to face… the trouble comes when we can’t bear to take life on life’s terms anymore, seeing the truth that we are all given our personal journeys and strife in order to evolve, we can just want to escape it all and we fall down. Praying that Cara is ok and finds herself at a transformational point in her life often following rock bottom.

Actually I feel if a person is rich it's probably much easier for them to do drugs, not that middle class or lower class can't be addicts or can't get to drugs , no they can cuz I am lower class and an addict, but it's just that rich people have money to buy all the drugs they want, while still having ability to have a house and food, which will make it harder for them to quit, I am broke rn because I have spent all my money on drugs, now I am just taking some pharmacy pill that make me high but it's not that same as anything and other street drugs still yet yeah it's dangerous.
And I know lots of people who could have been addicts if they had money.
So I guess it's much easier for the rich to be an addict...but I could be wrong.

I agree. The only difference though is that rich people can pay for therapy and to get themselves into rehab. Other than that, I completely agree with you

@@greenleafgreyeye 💯 we’ve talked about that in the rooms before with my wonderful key worker, most of us there are from backgrounds of poverty and thanked god that lack of resources were one of the catalysts for going in to recovery. I have to admit if I had money before learning recovery tools it would of been wayyy worse. Just imagine having unlimited funds, yes people willing to supply, even a damn maid to clean up all your mess up the time, unlimited food and items you’re able to order in so you don’t have to go to the shops, make up artists hair stylists to make you presentable 😂 it’s a wonderland for an addict until often they end up dead. Well done you for making steps on your own recovery journey, wishing all the best for you ❤️ we got this

@@kai0tfoool but even with the therapy you have to actually be ready for it, which is something addiction pushes you away from. In active addiction I could of had the best therapist in the world and I would of not turned up 😂

The thing is: Other people have to work in order to make a living. Becoming an addict will likely ruin their whole life because most rehabs or psychologists are very expensive and it's difficult to find a job if you lost your last one due to being an addict or it's difficult to afford an education if you had to quit it due to drug issues. Rich people can not only afford the most expensive rehabs that are like holiday retreats, they also can afford the best psychologists/therapy and they even get payed for interviews where they talk about their addiction. As hard as it sounds: Some might even profit from it because it might make them "relevant" again. Then they'll bring out a book/song about it and cash in even more. This is the big difference. Of course everyone can become an addict and everyone can have problems and suffer BUT if you aren't rich it might destroy your whole life and career and future opportunities while rich people are even able to profit from it.

Definitely not. I work and live in a privileged area in London and the way I see parents treat their children is almost always cold and lacking in empathy. As if their children are a hinderance. I cannot imagine the long term consequences in the children. Ironically, it is also far worse than the poorer areas, I feel so sorry for these kids.

That video where she acting crazy. I've seen that behavior in my brother who's an addict. It's meth. She was probably doing coke, and realized it's one, expensive and two, the effects don't last long enough. But if you smoke a little meth it can last all day. Same thing happened to my brother. He did the same thing with heroin. Got addicted to pain pills, and realized heroin is cheaper, and you don't have to do as much. To bad that stuff is mixed with fentanyl, and the most tiny amount can kill you. And that's how he died. Just stay away from drugs.

But yeah being famous isn’t all cake if you want friends and to go out in public etc… she seemed so fun but yes as it is what the media places on a pedestal they then like to pull it down. Fame is so NOT a barometer for happiness and success! I loathe hearing these tabloid stories about a famous person's career taking a nose dive or a celeb becoming "irrelevant". There are many very confident, talented, lovely people who are artists, musicians, actors, etc...that actually enjoy a craft or the act of creating or performing and don't gift a shit about their acute fifteen minutes of fame. There are successful entertainers all over the world who will never be world famous who have awesome careers!! I can't speak for Cara but it must be so annoying hearing these ignorant things about yourself! I pray she heals and is granted the respect and privacy every human deserves to in order to do so.

You get psoriasis because you have a genetic predisposition. It is an autoimmune disease and while there are triggers, like stress, it is not caused by stress.

I'm a big Cara fan ... but I doubt she's the biggest super model of all time... and the dark, thick eyebrows isn't anything new as "standard", eg Gia, Cindy Crawford, Margaux Hemingway were supermodels with these kind of thick eyebrows.... I think Cara is a rare supermodel of this time but not the greatest supermodel of all times. She's definitely much bigger than all these plastic surgery supermodels we can see today, the new standards of altered, designed, artificial looks who can't even do a proper catwalk. Seeing Cara on the runway is how a high fashion super model shall do the catwalk, she's absolutely great. One exception is the clip seen in the the end of the video where she's wearing a black outfit in a fashion show, that catwalk is not good, looks more like a "drug walk", probably due to her addiction problems. I can understand Karl Lagerfeld how much he loved Cara, she's unique and a very professional model

I'm very curious to know if she might have BPD. I have borderline and in my experience medication has never worked. It either does nothing at all or makes it worse. People say similar things about me, that no one would ever know I wasn't happy. I'm not, I can't even remember the last time I was. People are attracted to the depth but often leave when it gets too deep. It's hard to find another person in real life that understands, it's very lonely and exhausting. All you want is to be understood yet it's so incredibly rare because we don't even understand ourselves but we easily understand and connect empathetically with others. It's really frustrating.

I think she my also be a sigma female, she possible doesn't understand why she see the world differently to others, which could explain her depression, it difficult when people don't understand you, it worst when you don't understand yourself.
