From what I understand, yes. During the era, many bands used the Rockman in the studio. ZZ Top, DeF Lep, Satch, etc. I used one on demos in NYC in the 80s with other pedals in front for varying tones, but you can’t get away from the Rockman sound If you are plugged into a Rockman
Good demo, I captured that RJB Rockman profile from my X100. There is no way to get a dry signal from the X100, either chorus or delay is engaged but it turned out ok set with delay.
@ yes but only from the ToneX FX (not additional external fx)! When the MRX will be released I’ll make a wide range of captures available for free on tonet and ToneHunt (for NAM)
Whatever you did to simulate the Rockman tone, It’s got me wishing that Ian, the guitarist from the Alan Parsons Project, had the x100 address social when *Eye in the Sky* was tracked in 1982.
This sounds exactly like Joe Satriani's tone in his first couple of albums!
That’s because he used a rock man
That make a lot of sense then! Lol. @LanceKeltnerMusic
Satch used a Rockman? Is that what we hear on *Dreaming #11* too?

Where can I find this preset??? Keep looking but nothing? Would really love to have this one! Excellent job! One of best yet!
Eye in the Sky 👌
@@elka-nato great song yes! (In fact I much prefer the singing part but the backing track was focusing on the solo part)
Great tone & playing! Link to the tone please.
I love Alan Parsons
after melody the tone is everything very nice

Will be much easier with the upcoming MXR official Rockman recreation
@@NO-TALK-GuitarPlugin I did see you added some chorus and delay with the profile in tonex. Nice.
