I was listening to the the new song of the band with their new vocalist and he reminded me a lot of Ronny Munroe so it's already good news for me, i saw Metal Church live only once in my life, it was in 2006 at Wacken Open Air festival, it was in support of this album, the band had the same line up as on the album, Ronny and the band were fantastic, this album is powerful, i'm happy that the band is still active and that they will release a new album in May 2023, thanks for sharing.

The most diverse albums were with ronny munroe. Vanderhoof wrote brilliant songs. To me its pathetic this masterpiece album is so overlooked
Excellent album! The singer was a good choice. The songs are killer and the „Watch the children pray“ re-recording fits in very well ❤️🤘

Yet another band I wish I checked out 30 years ago but thought their name was whack!
Wut is so bad about their name. That's wut made me check them out 40 yrs ago!
@@danfleming3545 not sure exactly what it is about their name - I mean *wut* it is - about their name, it's just got one of those super cheesy sounding names to me, like Iron Butterfly, Judas Priest or Queens of the Stone Age, Rainbow Butt Monkeys, Temple of the Dog, etc. Even one of my favorite bands has one of thee worst names ever in my opinion - Pro-Pain.
Metal Church sounds like they are trying to sound ultra hard, but it just comes off sounding lame. Again this is just my opinion. It kinda reminds me of KISS in a way, they portray this super dark and heavy black metal-esque image but play mega cheesy pop rock and disco. At least Metal Church's music sounds awesome, it's just their name sounds more like a Canadian Heavy Metal Sampler Cassette Tape that you'd get at the gas station in the 80s for filling up your tank, than it does a killer band name.
