Those 2 chairs are what we call Morris Chairs here in America.---It was great to see the outcomes, especially since there were remarks from each of them about how difficult it was this time.
Interesting episode. I agree the reupholstery could have been more attractive. Also the two tone effect of the wood wasn't the best. But the addition of footrests was great. Also the barley twist is lovely. Table was good, but I agree with post about retaining them as chairs and footstool. The fishing chair looks good, but seems like a lot of the poles were not used. Nor were they sculpture like Sarah envisioned. TFS ❤❤😊😊
It just breaks my heart to see bicycles and good rattan furniture, and some of the other things thrown away. Several charities would be very happy to have bikes for kids, rattan is highly sought after and worth having reupholstered. I'm glad Sara and Jay save some items.
"Gives us an opportunity to do some thinking. Not something we do, normally..." (Idea: bent and covered, they'd make good dog and cat houses).Great looking fishing rod chair and the 2 steamer chairs are comfy & gorgeous (remembering Galia from the auction program!_
The loungers were great apart from the material used for the upholstery- it looked like rough fabric and a very uninspiring colour. The fishing rod chair was amazing considering what tricky items they were. Unfortunately, I didn’t like the table.
Sarah's Barcelona table is gorgeous! Bravo!
What an elegant seat made out of fishing rods! Those two designers are really brilliant. The two recliners are wonderful too.
Norman did a fantastic job, so well done to take the chairs back in time and yet make them fit for the future!!! Hat off!
Would have loved to see the Barcelona chairs cleaned and covered in a nice fabric
Even as copies, Barcelona chairs with new funky covers can generate substantial incomes
That table is AMAZING !!!! 🎉🎉🎉
I just love this show!
After 2 weeks without power from Hurricane Helene, this is the best way to just chill out ❤ Thank you, from South Carolina USA
I do hope you are all doing well, how awful it has been f0r you all. Take special care of you.
Been praying. You will get justice!
I love that table that you made it is beautiful
The Barcelona Chairs' (reproduction or not) alteration is pure vandalism!

Love this show 🤗❤️
This show is part game show, part furniture restoration show, and a little IOHS instructional video thrown in for good measure.👍🙂

My first thoughts with the fishing rods would be a trellis or bannister spindles, but probably not easy to "sell".
Philistine!!! Reproduction or not that Barcelona set should have been respected. 😡😡😡
Can you get more than two chairs at the table?

Norm missed it. She doesn't like wood left without paint.
Profit after labour costs? Hum.......I do this for myself, but the pay is awful.
