He went through a rough time early this year, he had to take a break to heal himself mentally, he was absent from some promotional events with the group, he wrote a letter to the fans explaining he was in a dark place and needed to take care of his mental health so he could come back as a better and stronger Jooheon
I straight up sobbed and I'm still tearing up. Jooheon went thru so much earlier this year and he opened up to us about it, about the nights he would spend in the dark in his room, on his knees crying and praying to be healed 🥺 i am so SO proud of him 😭😭😭😭♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
He's openly telling us about his anxiety. Of the difficult moments that happened, of which he also tells us in Flow. He talks about the hard and difficult, but also about his strength. And how he turned that into art. And in strength to move forward. Despite the 5 months of hiatus, and how difficult it was for him and for his brothers . He turned pain into music. He always says he doesn't sing something he doesn't feel. He tells us about his pain and how he fight and he's fighting and he's not going to give up. Lyric, composition, arrangement. Of the 7 songs in his mixtape. A music genius, also genuine and real, who is not afraid to talk about the bad through his art. He who is always encouraging and encourages and gives us strength. He is really strong, inspiring and is certainly strength for this family. He's such a complete artist. You don't have to speak the same language, to be able to feel what he wants to convey. This is an artist. A genius

I absolutely love this song. It's so personal and so full of emotion, it made me tear up... The rest of the mixtape is AMAZING as well. Loved every single song. He's so underrated, it's insane. Jooheon is genuinely one of the most talented idols out there: great at rapping, great at singing, great at writing and producing music, great and dancing, great at performing, he's funny and charismatic... Jooheon made a true piece of art and even if i had that settled for sure, it's still so shocking how versatile he can be. Smoky makes me both sad and happy at the same time, sad because even though I knew he was going through a lot and I broke into tears when I read his letter on fancafe, I just think i didn't figure out how much pain and sadness he felt at that time. And it makes me happy too because if we are able to listen to this song, then it means our jooheon is back and it's strong enough to express his feelings through what he loves the most: music. He is the most talented and strong person I know and he's helped me when I had my rough times myself. It makes me so sad people seem not to appreciate him. Honestly, when watching the mv I could only feel his pain and I wanted to get into the screen to give him a tight hug. It was a great reaction, thank you! ♡

It is so strong what the members had to go through and suffer and everything exploded at that same time, you can see it in Losing you and now with Smoky... imagine how it makes you think without seeing that painful moment lived, to It was so destructive for the fans to see their faces and their sore bodies and their letters showing their feelings so sad and painful and still they kept going, Monbebe was too broken back then and were continued fight every day for wonho, jooheon and all monsta. This is very strong for mbb but the message it gives is beautiful

he had a hard time at the beginning of this year, after Wonho left all the boys had a bad time and had to promote in korea and the US as if nothing had happened carrying that pain, Jooheon took a break due to anxiety and here is this letter that he wrote opening up for monbebe, it breaks my heart and at the same time full of admiration

Jooheon went through so much and he trusted us so much to the point where he shared with us on FanCafè what he was feeling. Now with SMOKY we understood even better how much pain and sadness he felt... Jooheon deserves the world.
