- Although the end to our tough 4 years at Caltech was rather unique and anticlimactic, I thought it would be valuable to share some thoughts regarding our experience! I'm an alumnus from a long time ago and it is great to hear that everyone is still learning the same Real Lessons as we did back then - and you and your friends articulate them so well.
You know we old-timers can be grumpy, complaining that things aren't as hard as they used to be, but I can't imagine doing it during COVID. Congratulations to all of you.
Hahaha yeah we’ve heard Caltech eased up a bit over the years, but COVID was definitely tough! Thank you

Oop I’m late to this informative vid LOL but I had a quick question!! How’s the major change/swap situation at caltech? We can change our major if we want in our freshman Or sophomore year right? -thankskssk
Yes! You can definitely change. Ease depends on the number of requirements of the major you're switching to!

Since this videos was posted one year ago, I would be interested to know if you are working in 6-figure salary jobs in your respective fields, or attending graduate schools.
Is it hard or easy to change your majorat Caltech?
Depends on what you want to change to. Easier to change to CS since it has fewer requirements, but super difficult to change to ChemE.
@@wamyy5 Thank you for your reply. I have one more question. Do recommend pre-med student to attend Caltech? As you know medical school requires a high GPA. I wonder what the average GPA at Caltech.
