UA-cam music needs hi res support, it's 2024,we shouldn't listen music in 320 Kbps or even lower
I agree. I'm pretty shocked that we can now stream the highest resolution available 4k video with no loss in anything, but here we are still listening to ultra compressed MP3 quality that I used to have on my 2nd generation iPod in 2004.

@@21backwards78 I received mine yesterday. Set up process was not as good. Fast pair didn't worked for me. Setting up the digital assistant so I can use Gemini Live works great on my Pixel Tablet (running android 15 beta). Not on my Pixel 9 Pro. It says: assistant disconnected. That is frustrating...... Sound, ANC and fit are great. Not perfect. The touchpad works fine.
Overall good quality earbuds.
Watching this video on my pixel pro XL. Now waiting for my buds pro 2 and watch. Life is good! ❤

Nice that they now have 8 hours of playing time. I have long wanted ear buds that are comfortable to sleep with. I'm lying on my side. None of the ear buds that I have bought have been comfortable. Now I think these new ones might be. Amen.

Cannot wait to get these. I have had nothing but issues with both my AirPod pro 2’s and 3rd gen’s.
One massive update is the new ability to get the buds out of the case. The last buds were slick and nearly flush with the top of the case, making it very difficult to get them out, and difficult to turn them and put them in easily.
Sounds like a skill issue

Anyone planning on getting these for spatial audio, do remember it will only work with Pixel phones which are non-A series. Which means that, it will work on Pixel 8 & 8 Pro, but not on the Pixel 8A, even though these phones have the exact same Tensor G3 processor and more than sufficient amount of RAM available.
This should be absolutely unacceptable from a customer's perspective as the latest A-series devices clearly have the capability to perform every task which the non-A series devices can perform. Only thing they don't have is maybe slightly more RAM (which isn't really needed tbh), better camera sensors and bigger & brighter displays. Seems to be that the A-series devices are unfairly getting blacklisted to not have this feature in a budget smartphone :(
I have a Pixel 7a and first gen Pixel buds pro, and for me the spatial audio option doesn't show up :(
Its still a solid great combination tho i too rock the pixel 7a and pixel buds pro
@@jamiesplinter8758 yup no doubt it's absolutely a great combination, been using it for a while now, but this info seemed to be a bit surprising to me, hence posted here for both spreading awareness among the potential customers, and as a feedback to Google , in hopes that they might enable spatial audio for A-series phoned as well someday :)
If these fit better in my ears and have better ANC these are definitely for me.

i thought it was always dumb how they have devices with no screen with the name "pixel", the original chromebook pixel was called that because it had a high-resolution display, honestly i think about it multiple times a year lmao, they could've stuck with the nexus name
They probably just wanted to move away from the nexus brand, since it was kinda complicated.

Pixel doesn't mean it has 'pixels' pixel is Googles name for their mobile products. Like how samsung have their galaxy name, pixel is just the google equivalent
I mean, Apple stuff does not have apples in it? Kidding aside, i get why they scrapped the nexus name in order to make room for their own product line identity. Nexus seems a lot cooler tho and sounds more premium.

I'm just getting them because of the 12 hour battery life without ANC on. I use one at a time so that's 24 hours and only having to switch out once.
And what about the microphone and call experience? My worst experience with any buds is people not hearing me, having to shout out loud, and horrible noise filtering. I hate phone calls with buds.
Google should give his own music streaming service, UA-cam music, better audio quality

PSA: I have paid for three pairs of pixel buds that barely work and Google has no customer service. I use pixel phones and Chromebooks and I can't say loudly enough: do not buy headphones made by Google.
Same here with airpods ive gone through over 10 pairs but im finally gonna make the switch back to the pixel 9 pro since att is offering it free, considering that, these buds and gemini
I am sorry that you had bad experiences. And I don't mean to disregard yours, but in Europe their service is exceptional. We have warranties for 2 years. I have used the buds a lot! And unfortunately have had them dying on me at the 20-22 month mark. I have always gotten them replaced, with great customer support. I always purchase on the official site even if they are a tad bit more expensive, because the service support is great.
Thanks for your anecdotal experience. I had one ear bud have an issue with my first buds, Google replaced them and it was pretty seamless

I really hope these fit much better in your ear than the last Pixel Buds Pro, mine drive me nuts as I have to constantly adjust them to stop them falling out. I've tried a bunch of different ear tips and no change, they're the only earbuds I've ever had fitment issues with.

Hey keep anything aside just focus more on improving call quality where is all wireless buds lacking other features like anc transparent mode are somewhat decent in all earbuds all struggle with call in windy environment

I like everything about my 1st gen pixel buds pro, but they wont hold onto my ears. They just pop out slowly and its not ergonomic to keep them secure in ear.

Have they improved mic quality? I can never talk with my pixel buds a series when I'm on a bus or a tram, people can never hear me, they say it's too noisy
