The problem is not the chicken itself but the salmonella that can be in the meat. Can be in raw eggs too if I recall correctly.
You can greatly reduce the risk of salmonella if raised in a very sanitary environment, but you can not eliminate it.

In Germany we have raw minced pork, it is highly regualted so it is absolutely safe to eat. Raw chicken is a new one for me too, but it seems to be safe 😊.

A fantastic look into a region I haven't heard too much about in South Korea! I'm very much intrigued by the tea set from the green tea field segment, the teacups were beautiful. Hoping to finally plan a trip to visit!

Funny story. My family friend worked in Japan for a few years and the boss took his team out to celebrate some milestone at a restaurant that served raw chicken. First year, he was a little apprehensive to try it. Said fuck it and tried the raw chicken. He was perfectly fine and found the texture to be interesting. Second year, boss took them to the same place..... this time the whole department got food poisoning.

I almost fainted reading that title 🥺 I got food poisoning from chicken once and thought I was gonna die (and it was supposedly cooked)

That just sounds like you might've been served bad chicken period, since once it's gone off no matter how much it's cooked it'll still give you food poisoning so I'm sorry to hear that. Raw chicken is okay to eat SO LONG AS it's been reared and butchered in a specific way to make certain that salmonella risk isn't a thing which only goes for said specially reared chicken. So doing it with the average store bought one is dangerous.

I had raw chicken sashimi in Japan, never again. I never got diagnosed but symptoms resembled e.coli poisoning. Was a miserable few days. Just not worth it.

Just my stomach being a douche. I couldn't eat raw chicken and cooked and all that mixed...it'd confused my stomach..or risk me getting lost in the toilet 😢😂
