I get as a person with a job in the media you’d want more promotion competition but as a selfish viewer why would we? We want the best to be able to fight so unless they’re cross promoting i dont want that, but i also get it from a business aspect both media members and in the fight game itself why its better as well.
But if you want to draw the best athletes to the sport, you need to pay them, and to pay them better you'd need more competition.
As an Australian, I’m SO proud of Steve for proving he can beat the best in the world at that division. He might not have the belt at the moment, but he isn’t far from claiming what is his soon enough 🇦🇺
